These branches were safety hazards and very likely will break during the winter season and cause roof damage or injure tenants. Very important that I hired a contractor with all the safety following. Jessie's crew did an excellent job tie down the heavy branches and cutting so they don't fall uncontrollably injuring someone or damaging the property. Josh was our point of contact. His first visit was checking out the scope of the project. He assessed the project would take about a day and a half and we agreed to have him perform the job. The first day was pretty straightforward. I'd check in every so often to make sure things were going well. By the end of the project, Josh had gone through 2 1/2 cans of wasp killer. We should have taken care of that earlier, but family issues put it to the back burner. Thankfully, he made sure things were safe before beginning work near the roof. Early in the second day, Josh had finished up. He returned later to touch base with us and do a final walk around of his work. Everything looked great, and Josh was friendly and professional the entire job. We will definitely schedule these guys for future projects whenever possible.

Instead, I had to go onto his website and schedule there. I went to the website and made an appointment. I was at the property 30 minutes prior to the schedule appointment time (window of 3pm to 4pm). I waited until about 3:15pm, still no word from the contractor. I went out front to see if maybe he had went too far down the block or something. No one in sight. I took a few minutes to run to the restroom. After the restroom, I noticed I missed the contractor's call by three minutes. I rang back expecting him to answer and explain that he was on his way or had arrived. Instead, it went to his voicemail. A few minutes later, I received a string of text messages from the contractor accusing me of missing the appointment, wasting his time, costing him gas money, and making him late for other appointments. Apparently, my stepping into the restroom for three minutes was out of the question. What kind of contactor works like this? I took time out of my day to meet this contractor as well. I guess my time as a client is not valuable to him in any way? He claims he waited for 20 minutes, but that is not at all true. I went outside searching for him and he had not arrived. Furthermore, why would he wait outside for 20 minutes and not attempt to call the contact number? When he finally did call, I only missed the call by three minutes. When I mentioned that I would be reviewing my experience, he only went on a further threatening tirade about he planned to comment back on my review about how much of his time I wasted. Ummm, you were not at the property when I checked at 3:15pm. I went to the restroom for a few minutes, I missed a call by three minutes, and then you refused to answer. If three minutes is unacceptable, it sounds as though you have some scheduling issues. Anyhow, DO NOT hire this contractor. He is terribly impatient, rude, and does not value your time as the hiring client.

Since we were trying to replace a big area of bushes with other kind of foliage, he was able to break down each item and review the to-do list with us. We were able to see the cost of the labor (the most reasonable! I really have to say it again), and the material was based on the original receipt from the nursery. Nothing was hidden! I really have great respect for him for the way he respect his own service and his customers. Our section of the street has 11 houses, and 6 of us already hired Johnny as our default gardener.
