( )*.。 I have not been doing haircuts for 5 years because I have had the worst haircut experience. but the split ends have increased at the end of the hair and I decided to make a cut. When i get her salon she have smile on her face and big welcoming to me.Ü I was thinking to making a shortcut, but she encouraged to make it a shoulder length and if i wanna more cut to short then go for it. I was a little nervous but during the cut she was very friendly and really helpful.After she finished hair cut and she set my hair for pretty curl i was like a OMG!!! I'm loving how she done. I am in my mid 60's and don't want to look like an old lady. I was very loyal to another hair stylist for 6 years and thought my hair looked pretty good, but never great. I followed Danielle on social media and saw the beautiful hair transformations. Ultimately I decided that I just have to try her out. My husband told me to "let her do what she thinks will look good on you and not to tell her what I want". What a scary concept. Ha ha! She made getting my hair cut a family experience because she's just that GREAT! Not only does my tough to cut, oily, thin, not colored hair present a challenge to a stylist, but this past time I needed to bring my 5 year old with me. He also wanted to cut my hair (since I cut his, he thought it was only fair) and Danielle said YES! Danielle handles just about anything with a calm, professional, funny and sweet approach and it brings with it a loyalty to her and wherever she puts her chair. So, it would just be easier to walk away and not say anything, but I feel it's important to be honest, so that maybe you can become a better business owner. Today I felt blind-sighted when I show up expecting one service cut/shampoo/style (the same one I had last time) and received something completly different, a dry haircut for the same price. I left with dirty hair, never washed or styled. She never mentioned anything about changing her services or her prices to me before I got there. I feel like as a business owner that seems really unfair to me, as your client. Who pays $65 ($55 + tip)for a haircut without a shampoo and style??? I've been to high class salons all over San Francisco, Los Angels, Orange County and Denver with much better treatment and service. She has clients sit there awkwardly as they ask the price in front of other clientele to make it especially uncomfortable. So I didn't really feel like I could say something right then, but on my drive home, I texted her politely asking why she didnt wash and style my hair and she responded, "My prices have changed since moving into my own studio." No, I'm sorry for the miscommunication, come back and I'll have my Assistant wash your hair, because all she does is sit, eat and sweep up hair. Or let me take some money off? She could have easily fixed the situation but choose not too. Go see Danielle Russel if you want an over priced haircut that you don't even get your hair washed after she cuts it. Where do you sign up for that? Great clips? I never leave reviews, but this was really wrong. read more

Scheduled a haircut with Danielle for the first time. She was very timely with my appointment. She was ready for me at the appointed time. I told her exactly how I wanted my hair cut and she cut it exactly that way. It's a simple classic haircut but it must be a difficult cut because I seldom get a hair cut just like I ask. But Danielle cut it perfectly and I can't be more pleased. She's very personable and very pleasant to chat with. The only comment I would like next time if she would just wet my hair before she cut my hair so tiny hair cut pieces don't fall into my back of my dress and cause itching all the way home. read more
