I gave it a try knowing I took a chance as this is a new service they provided and it is very close to my house. I never expected to be missing part of my eyebrow as a result that is now not growing back and I have to consider alternatives like microblading so I can fill in the missing hair. Apparently, all of them were newly trained but clearly not well enough. They follow an instruction sheet as they are doing it. As someone who has done lamination many times, the girl who did my lamination said some questionable things during the process. For example, a vital part of lamination is the after care which I received zero information on. I would have been okay with that had my eyebrows been fine. Instead they have thinned out completely and my left is missing a part of the eyebrown that I now have to pencil in every day. It is very clear that they are doing this without solid training in the hopes that it turns out okay. Even when I went back to show them, the second girl had to follow the instruction sheet to see what might have gone wrong and seemed unsure of herself. Super disappointed that I have to now deal with the aftermath of how to get my eyebrows looking back to how they were before.

The main reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the sales tactics when I'm checking out are way too much. I stand there for several minutes listening to the same spiel. I just want to check out and leave. It's like I dread checking out because I know what's about to happen. The girls are very nice when giving their spiel. I would rather they tell me about the "deals" when I ask and not every single time.

Anyway, I selected Haylee because she had the most recent and best review. She did a great job! Very efficient and quick. So I read in previous reviews that said she talked during the wax which made it go by fast; I agree!!! However, we went through so many topics so fast lol. I suppose there is nothing actually wrong with that; I'm just use to having more in-depth convos with my wax lady and massage therapist during our sessions. Just a preference! She was cool though and her tattoos were dopeeee. After some Yelp research, I decided upon Brows by Hasini based on all of the great reviews. It was a little bit further than what I would normally travel for, but I thought it might be worth it. It is to the left of Bashas and right next to an Italian eatery. The woman who did my eyebrows did a great job. What I loved is that she listened to me. I'm asking for something very simple, just to clean up in a little bit and do some shaping, as I usually do a good job on my own and just kind of need help shaping every once in a while. She listened, and I couldn't believe the price when she told me. $12. I will take that trip any day for $12 for an eyebrow!
