I got the 70-minute combo massage, which includes both foot and back treatment. This occurs in the shared community space with clothes on. I was the only one there on a Saturday late afternoon, no other customers present during my session, and I'm pretty sure my masseur (possibly the owner) was the only worker on site. He had his phone closeby during the massage, which he checked once when it beeped. But he ignored it the rest of the time. Soft music played in the background, but all of the sounds from the street outside and through the walls could still be heard. I didn't mind, cuz the massage was really good which is what matters most to me. My masseur had a unique method of applying pressure and strength, using mainly elbows and knees on my back. Be aware that the back massage was done over a fairly thick sheet/blanket, but the pressure was deep enough to be effective. He was thorough, especially on my legs and feet. Targeted my hamstrings, shins, and outer muscles of the legs which is where I needed it most. The fast rubbing made me a bit numb, but when he slowed down, I was on cloud nine. And he applied pressure to all the right parts of each foot, too. None of it was painful. It didn't feel rushed either, so this place gives a true "foot massage". The guy was friendly, and prefers cash payments, but I only had enough cash for a tip. I was able pay with a credit card for the massage itself, with an additional $2 fee for the charge.

Prior to this class, our massaging one another wasn't always the greatest experience--often due to just not knowing where/how to massage and also the giver getting tired quickly. The techniques Alexis demonstrated where easy to follow and receiving/giving with my partner in this way felt so good! It was empowering to learn simple tricks in just how to stand when giving a massage so that you don't tire so easily. Since the workshop, we both have found small moments to go back to the massage techniques when the other is needing some extra attention. It has been such a gift to have this new way of communicating and receiving love from one another. Thank you Alexis!

As active people we often have various aches and pains; it seemed like a double win to get massages and also learn how to better give them to each other. Another couple we are good friends with joined us. Alexis reached out ahead of the session to solicit our ideas for the time together and make sure we were fully prepared. When she arrived she immediately set a relaxed, joyful, loving mood. She taught us both a seated, neck/shoulder massage and a more immersive, laying down full back massage with oil. With our small group she provided regular 1:1 feedback, which was very helpful. She also kept it low stress and fun for all. Since the session we have continued to practice some of what we learned. The seated massage techniques are especially easy to incorporate into even a weeknight evening. It was freeing to learn a few easy moves that are consistently well-received. I would strongly recommend Alexis. She is a lovely, warm, talented instructor.

It's too bad because my family has thrown bachelorette parties here, I've been coming here for years and never been late once. Just something to note. The only reason I'd ever go back here is only for Liza. She is outstanding!

I asked for a female masseuse and was given a male. He was inappropriately massaging me under my shirt, applied oil without asked on my neck, back, and sides under my shirt.
