I get my hair done every 2 months, and that's when I get my eyebrows done. Truthfully it should be monthly if I'm honest with myself. I missed last time because I got enamored with Sushi Sumo and the distraction made me forget. Today I walked in with the eyebrows of someone's grandpa. It was real. Oh! And I got splashed with bacon grease when I was cooking and it burnt off part of my eyebrow closest to the start of my brow bone. Making me look normal might have been a challenge for others. Hina made me look exceptional. The thread came out, the scissors came out, the aloe came out and poof- the mirror came out and I was done. It took a hot 5-10 minutes and I got right in. No appointment. I've been here numerous times and they're always very gentle. I have super sensitive skin and the aloe they use doesn't break me out. I've gone to other places that do. Never again. They also do a nice little temple massage at the end. I know I already mentioned that, but it truly is lovely. You don't always get seated immediately, but they will get with you quickly. It's not expensive at all and they even have a punch card for free sessions after you complete so many. I have about a hundred of these cards somewhere. They just float off into the aether. I was assured when I find them all, I can bring them all in. Now I just have to find them. Lol

Her henna comes from natural ingredients so it is great even for sensitive skin. There's never a long wait. I usually get my full face threaded or just my eyebrows/upper lip. My skin is sensitive and Tina will massage witch hazel on it to calm my skin after threading. I think that's a great touch. She is always attentive and makes sure you are comfortable. People always ask me the name and I just know the location at Albertsons on Boulder highway. It is in a non descript strip mall, but very clean and professional always. The shaping itself came out really nice -- I actually loved how my brows looked in the end. Clean, defined, and exactly the look I was going for. However, my main concern was with the tinting process. I was told the tint would be left on for about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30 minutes without any heads up or explanation. During that time, my eyebrows became extremely itchy, which made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a reaction or due to the tint being left on longer than expected, but it definitely didn't feel right. Everything turned out fine visually, but better communication -- especially when something changes during the service -- would have made a big difference in the overall experience.

We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.
