One of the arenas is covered with mirrors at one end. They have enough individual paddocks for each individual horse. There is automatic water buckets and fly spray systems. Each border gets their own individual locker. There is a main hall that has a refrigerator, a dining area and a sitting area. For one rate, they will feed, hay, muck out, blanket, give dewormers, bring in and take out to paddocks. They have four dressage trainers on hand. They recently underwent a manager change. The new manager is Willette Brown. The barn owner is Lori Wubker. While they all, very obviously, care for your equine. Be sure to write out, explicitly, how you would like your horse to be treated. Otherwise they will do what they believe is best, which isn't always the case.

The house we rented was extremely reasonable for the cost, beautiful original flooring, great kitchen for cooking, covered porch to enjoy the rain & play games. The idea of being able to enjoy the ranch life first hand & ride during the stay is genius, we really unplugged and reset ! Equestrian Jen gave us an immersive experience connecting with the horses & it was according to my daughter the best birthday gift of her life. Jen's equestrian knowledge is obvious yet she remains down to earth and is an skilled teacher. She taught us an impressive amount in the time frame but always held the horses best interest as highest priority,revealing her genuine love for this magnificent animal. Overall, to see my daughter smile the way she did at the end of her 3 day experience was something I'll never forget. Tears where shed when we left but I told her don't worry we will be back ! Thank you to all the amazing people & beautiful horses at Diamond Oaks Farm for giving us a vacation with memories that will last a life time. We will most certainly be back as soon as possible. My smaller children loved watching the horses from the windows in the house and running in the lush yard covered by gorgeous trees. I found this barn a couple weeks ago and what a blessing! Ms. Pam and her husband have been very kind and welcoming. Their barn is very well kept and clean. Their property is beautiful with more than ample space for the horses to run, their stalls are all very clean, open for air flow and great size. They seem to have a great lesson program with several young kids (boys and girls) involved on the farm which was so nice to see. For full care, it's average price for the area and everyone is open to their own feed and turnout schedules. I visit the farm 1-2x daily, and all of the horses on the farm are always happy and fed in a timely matter. The owners are fantastic, they're always a text or phone call away and easy to work with. The horses were well taken care of and the setting is just incredible. Lazy Oak trees gently cascade over the land, shading the horses and riders on a warm day. We lucked out with a breezy day. My husband's last time on a horse was over 20 years ago at a terrible ranch where his horse took off on his first ride ever. Elaine asked about our experience and when we shared this, she made sure all the horses were good for 3 of us. I asked for one a little spicier and got to ride sassy Lady, a beautiful young thoroughbred-mix. I appreciated the care they took in assessing what would work for us. It's a very casual set-up which was just right for us. The trail is through their beautiful wooded acreage. It was extremely relaxing and a perfect first-time experience for our teens. As for the horses, they were healthy, and seemed quite happy to chug along through the trail. We had never been horseback riding before so Kevin was very patient in getting us started. We had a terrific time and would definitely do this again. We recommend Shenandoah Stables to anyone looking to go horseback riding at a very reasonable expense ($35 per person for a 45 minute ride).
