We had the pleasure of riding while on vacation. There were 5 of us and most had little to no experience riding. Our daughter, who has complex special needs, is an experienced rider but primarily in an arena. Our guide (the owner) was absolutely amazing! She was patient when our daughter needed a bit of time to warm up to the different environment, offered information on the area where we were riding, included all riders in the experience and all around provided a safe and fantastic experience! She also took the time to take a TON of great photos and air dropped them to us before we left. Horses were well cared for and she did a terrific job of describing their temperaments and matching those to the riders. I had never ridden a horse before and was a bit apprehensive. These people and horses made me feel safe and confident. Ten minutes into the ride I was hooked. My horse was great, the trail was beautiful, and our guides were friendly and a pleasure to talk with. I am an animal lover and never interacted with horses before, they are amazing. My wife and I did a private sunset horseback ride on our wedding day (we eloped). This was the best decision we could have made! This was the highlight of our vacation so far, an afternoon romantic horseback ride on the beach . The owner, Jennifer, was so accommodating scheduling for the best weather day and did everything possible to make out experience perfect. Our guide was there early and the horses were very healthy, beautiful, clean, and safe. Terry was professional, courteous, friendly and a fantastic guide on the beach and took very good pictures on his phone of us and sent them to us for free even, a $60 cost at some tourist places. Our tour guide, Terry, was friendly and was very knowledgeable about the horses and the area we were touring. Both of our horses, Jolly and Tex, were a pleasure to ride. Both horses were friendly, gentle and cooperative with us non-experienced riders. We couldn't have asked for better horses. They also appeared to be cared for very well. AWESOME! Want to get away from those head to tail trail rides and experience something great. Riding a horse on the beach, just beautiful with the horse going in and out of the water. The weather was perfect the owner Jennifer and guide Terry are so down to earth and personable. Well worth the drive 2 + hours to get here. We road up and down the beach in an area away from crowds though you will come across some beach goers who are pleasant and wave. The owners have a variety of horses and they are well cared for. They are also conscious of the environment and pick up after their horses. This was and I quote from my 14 year old "Best Day Ever". Will definitely recommend this to everyone. read more

I hate riding horses. Actually I do not hate doing anything or hating anybody, hate shouldn't be a word. Lets say I dislike riding for whatever reasons but for my daughter....it's her passion. I seriously believe she would have a hard time deciding if someone asked her "would you trade your dad for an arabian horse? " She would say " I'd have to get back to you on that" But seriously, a healthy horse is a healthy horse. The only difference before deciding where to ride and the experience is the people running the place. I can tell you the following and let you decide for yourselves....it was the afternoon and a last minute idea of mine was to find a place for my daughter to get on a horse. (my wife,daughter and I were in town from nyc for another reason) Without a reservation we discovered Equestrian Adventures while Terry was packing up the saddles from a previous ride ( he appeared to be done for the day) I felt like I was bothering him (it was almost raining) but knowing my daughter's desire, I asked "can I get her on a horse for a minute? Terry said "has she ridden before?" "she's been taking lessons for a few years" I answered. He stopped what he was doing, saddled up a horse, asked her a few questions and there she was, in her glory with a smile. After a few circles in the corral, he asked ME, "can I take her around the property for a bit?" I said "yes" she'll put herself up for adoption if I said no, I thought...To make a long story shorter, I enjoyed my chat with Jennifer (the owner) and Terry afterwards and we came back the next day so my princess could ride the whole day. read more
