This was one bad experience. Two of donuts we ordered were supposed to be with icing that should have been applied after other toppings. Customers can see how donuts are dressed through the glass. The sales lady tried to squeeze this icing but only water came out. She consulted her coworker. He stated that water was added because icing is stuck. Then, she just poured this water on our donuts and served them! These were some sad looking donuts with run down tops instead of icing. We had to trash them. read more

My husband went to pick up donuts. He called ahead to see if they were doing curbside / call ahead order (as so many businesses are doing now) to avoid any crowds, but they are not doing this. We have been to Deep Creek Donuts several times and for the most part, each time has been fine. But, this last visit was not good. In the times of Covid-19 most establishments are being extremely cautious. Well, not here. Before making our donuts, the worker touched her personal phone with her gloves on and then wiped down the countertop with an obviously dirty rag and then proceeded to make our donuts with the SAME gloves on. GROSS!! I tried to let it go, but just couldn't. I asked the manager (teenager) for a refund and he apologized and said "we're doing our best". I told him it is not that hard to change your gloves! Please review your sanitation guidelines with your employees!! read more

A donut place located in a small town. My top two favorite donuts were the Oreo donuts and the bacon covered donuts. The staff was friendly and quick on their feet. The donuts are made right in front of your face. So it's fresh, warm, and simply delicious. My family comes to this location every time we visit deep creek. We've never once been disappointed. I have no idea what their donuts taste like as I threw them in the trash after witnessing a horrific display of unhygienic practices. As I waited for my donuts I witnessed the teenage girl who was making them cough profusely all around the baking area and then into her non-gloved hand and finally into her shirt sleeve. She then used the same ungloved hand to wipe at her nose, which looked runny. Did she wash her hands after all of this? No, she did not. In fact, it appeared that she used that same hand to reach into a toppings bin. (I say appeared because at this point her back was half to me so can't be 100% sure of that.) She did use the gloved hand to put the donuts in the box but that did little to assure me that the donuts weren't contaminated at this point. Disgusting! read more

No seating noticed, so keep this in mind. Withholding a star as they seemed not as large, and not to rise as much as one of our hometown donut shops with the same style and variety of donuts though a couple extra flavors here (Smores for example), but we'd still come again the next time we're in town. read more
