Filling a serious gap in the Columbus market, Sound and vision provides a good selection of high…read morefidelity equipment for any consumer from the beginner audiophile to the seasoned golden ear. I have enjoyed each visit to the shop. In a market where exploring audio is near impossible, their hours and availability are much appreciated. I drop by the shop every so often to see what's new and to listen to the flagship products. I have not experienced the design aspect of the business and do not have much interest in home automation, but they have great options. I am an audio guy, and really appreciate the variety. I would live to see some of their products showcased a little better. But I'm not certain they could do that with the space they have. I do not make purchases often, so when I cone in, it is refreshing that I am not treated as a spectator. But I am given excellent care. And allowed to listen. It will certainly translate to purchases when the opportunity arises. If you're looking to upgrade or get started on a hifi check out sound and vision!

The work is first class and professional, and done for a fair price that was clearly explained before the work was done. Sean went above and beyond, especially on the fireplace mount which required drywall work that needed some time to dry. I highly recommend Paradox Digital for any home theater and related work.

This year, on one of the few nice days we had, I decided to sit on the patio and listen to some music. Unfortunately one of the speakers blew out and it was unlistenable. I called the Theater People to service the speakers knowing that it was well beyond the warranty. They came and found a chipmunk chewed threw one of the wires. They also found that the speakers had a lifetime warranty. They ordered the replacement speaker and came about a week later to install it. Although I paid for the visit, the speaker was replaced for free. I recommend the Theater People for your AV needs. Thanks Scotty.

I recently decided to add Roku to my not-smart television set-up and, after many attempts to find…read moreout how it should be done, I hit a wall. The idea came to me that a specialist in home entertainment systems may be able to help me, This was last Saturday so I called Custom Automation Technologies, Inc. in New Albany who were open until 6 pm. The owner, Dan Hoehnen, answered my call, talked with me about my system, and said he would come out that same afternoon and take care of it. Which he did, for about 1.5 hours he skillfully integrated a Roku stick into my mini-network which consists of an 11 year old plasma TV, a DVR, Spectrum cable box, a 11 year old DVD player all controlled by an 11 year old Bose Life Style sound system. Others had failed at this integration task, but Dan knew exactly what had to be done. He explained every step as he worked so that when he was finished I had full Roku capability on my system. He also explained how I should access and use the new feature, even helping me to document every step in the process. To top it off, he invited me to call him anytime I have a problem or a question. In summary, I could not be happier with the service provided by Mr. Hoehnen and CATI. The service was fast, expert, courteous and totally effective. Thank you, Dan and CATI! A very happy, happy customer

She came up with excuse after excuse...."We were bought out" "You talked to the wrong person" "You have to write a letter" "You wrote to the wrong person" blah, blah, blah....
