Then we looked more carefully at the reviews and noticed that many of the recent reviews in the last year were quite negative especially regarding their service. We had second thoughts but since we wanted Detroit style pizza we forged ahead. We were able to get a booth in the bar instead of getting shuttled to the upstairs (it was raining so their roof deck wasn't an option). Our server was prompt and since we knew this type of pizza can take awhile to bake we ordered right away. We got the Barry with two types of pepparoni and hot honey. After the server took our pizza and drink order (happy hour beer prices $2 off) we decided to get a caeser salad. At first she balked since the pizza order was already in there was no guarantee it would come out before the pizza - hmmm an example of the service issues others wrote about? But minutes later she told us she expedited the salad and sure enough it was out in 5 minutes well ahead of the pizza which only took slightly more than 20 minutes which is fast for Detroit style pizza. The pizza was very good. Though some complain that the edges are burnt this is the cheese. It doesn't taste burnt it tastes great. This is Detroit style pizza done right. The sauce was sweet with a bit of heat from the hot honey. The salad was OK. Service was good, pizza was great...only downside was $34 for the large. This was high for this type of pizza which we've had in many different cities.

The waiter with other customers seemed great. We look forward to seeing how great the pizza is hot and hopefully better customer service.

The pizza was solid: tasty sauce, good amount of cheese and zippy pepperoni! The boneless wings were fine: they lost some crispness in the delivery, but that usually happens. I wouldn't call them great but not bad either. Average is probably the right adjective. The only knock against the za was the crust, while fine, didn't have a ton of flavor to it but the rest made up for that. Delivery was prompt and the food was delivered hot.

Here I am close to the Canadien border and there is one legitimate brewery close to town. Beer was good and food a bit underwhelming. Had the WC and Hazy IPAs. Both were good with the Hazy outshining the WC. They have a pickle beer which a lot of the locals kept ordering. I didn't try it but it's probably worth a sample. Really only pizza for sustainable food with a for appetizers to go with it. Special for the day was a slice, which was generous, and a beer for $10. The pizza was ok, crust a little doughy for my liking, need to make a decision if it's NY or not. Great stop when in ND, especially if you like craft beer. They had some guest taps as well as their own. If looking for food ok choice, but probably better in town.

Looks like they might have a party area, as well as a small arcade area in back, which we didnt go to. They also have a menu and you can order a pizza off that if you dont want to do the buffet. I would eat here again. My only complaint is that they needed to cut the buffet pizzas better. I often found the edges were not cut completely, making it difficult to separate the slices, especially if you're letting your kids serve themselves.

Timing was perfect, as he was walking in the door as we waited no more than a second. Now, we've had another pizza joint deliver twice this week to us, and I wish I would have tried Papa John's 1st! 1. He was so happy and pleasant with my son, "Are you waiting me MEEEE?" He asked, as my son eagerly bounced while saying "Pizza!" 2. Knowing we are in a hotel, he made sure we had plates, and napkins! 3. From order time to in hand, time was quick. 4.
