Everyone expressed about how much fun they had. Richard is completely committed to his clients. I heard my husband say he even stayed in North Jersey overnight to make traveling easier. You definitely get a lot more personalized service with Richard than some random entertainment company that sends you their intern.

He got all the pronunciations right, he didn't play anything on our do not play list, and he got all of our formal dances perfect. The only thing I didn't like is that he took some of the leeway we gave him and ran with it, instead of playing several of our requests. It all worked out in the end though. Everyone had a good time, the dance floor was packed...and with the installed sound system Elite has, so you can hear on the dance floor, but it's quiet enough in the seats to talk, everyone was happy.

The place itself overall is clean and enjoyable, there's more than enough room for lots of table rounds (large fit well), with comfy seats and a decent dance floor. We hired Kris to DJ our local wedding reception in August 2016. I found By Design Entertainment…read morelisted on theknot.com (the only useful thing on that website). From the very beginning, Kris was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We chose the most basic package - he also offers special lighting and a photo booth. He did a great job getting the crowd together and "loosened up" with a napkin game which was pretty hilarious to watch. I highly recommend Kris and By Design Entertainment for any event.

The Best... I've been to countless weddings over the years…read moreand when it was time to put together my wedding we knew that the DJ was not only important, in a lot of ways the DJ is the center of the entertainment, controls the energy and the mood in the room. We started our search by reading all of the reviews online through multiple websites and then starting pricing it out. Design Entertainment by Kris Szanto came out on top. Of course the review doesn't just end there... Kris was extremely accommodating and was easy to work with, which as many of you know, if you do not already, wedding planning is extremely stressful so working with Kris was a breathe of fresh air. We got married June 27, 2015 at Eagle Ridge Gold Club in Lakewood, NJ. During the wedding everything went off so smoothly we could not have been happier with Kris and his crew. He immediately set the mood and for a group that I thought would never get out on the dance floor, the floor was full within the first 10 mins... Talk about a guy who knows what he is doing, Kris is not a one trick pony... Not only were we happy with Kris we received so many compliments from our guests. There are plenty of options out there but if you want the best I recommend Kris and his crew with By Design Entertainment without question... If you have any additional questions or concerns about By Design Entertainment I would happy to answer them... John Nesgoda (John.Nesgoda@gmail.com)

Planning a wedding from Texas in NJ is not easy, but he was very responsive to every email and the few phone conversations we had. Since we had a Friday morning brunch wedding, he was also able to work with our budget and really make it happen for us. Once we booked with CSE Sean also sent us a username and password to our personalized online music planner. It was nice being able to put all the details of who was who, and pick what songs we wanted to be played. Also, the week of the wedding, Sean touched based, went over everything with us too which was much appreciated! Since we had a small wedding, I know it was difficult to get the party pumped up ( a Friday brunch wedding is also a little difficult). But, he played many of the songs we requested and others that were really perfectly along the lines of our wedding day feel- think Michael Buble. It was really nice because it didn't feel like just another wedding with a cheesy DJ. Sean also worked with my sister to orchestrate "the shoe game" I had wanted in the middle of our reception which was a lot of fun! Lots of laughs! Perfect touch. Thank you Sean for being so organized and knowing our venue. It made the day a lot more enjoyable for us. Highly recommend CSE!

All of my Polish family had the best time even our friends who don't speak a word of Polish were out on the dance floor loving every song. His transitions between Polish hits and American wedding favorites were seamless, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed the entire night. Simon played for five straight hours without a single dull moment -- not one song had an empty dance floor! He also perfectly handled our Polish traditional toasts after the ceremony and did such a great job pronouncing the Polish words -- it meant so much to our family. Our ceremony music was flawless, especially my groom's walk-in song! Simon timed it perfectly, and it truly gave us chills. We first loved him when he DJed our friends' wedding, and we feel so lucky to have had him for ours. Thank you, Simon, for making our wedding day unforgettable. You brought our vision to life and made the night one giant celebration of love, culture, and fun. Highly, highly recommend!!!
