I love supporting local businesses. As for the balloons from VroomVroom, these are adorable. They are a splurge. I debated making my own but decided I didn't want the stress and once I looked at the cost of buying supplies I would need and the time I would spend, I decided to just go ahead and place the order since it would be the "wow" factor when people walked into my home for my party on May 1. To have VroomVroom install, your order must be $600 at minimum. I believe I spent around $380 so I didn't go for the install and just picked up my garland - which the owner did carry out to my car for me. It was beautiful and full. It was SO easy to hang. I attached the garland on 2 places on my banister in my foyer. Photos attached. May was definitely a busy time for them and they are booming in business. I went in person to pick out my balloon colors and place my order face to face. I also placed my order weeks in advance because I know the spring is so busy for party vendors. I'm so happy I went for it and ordered these. And the garland lasted for 3 weeks! I then took it down and let a friend use it for a party she hosted. The balloons had gone down some but were still adorable. Now just remember- these balloons were inside, in a climate controlled environment. I'm sure if outside and in extreme temps, they wouldn't last long. But what Balloon would? I will order again for a special occasion and love the backdrop and photo opportunities!

Upon entering, we were greeted friendly by the cashier and shop dog. It is small but each shelf is highly curated with only the most unique and eclectic goods. I loved the wide variety of books ranging from global art magazines to niche coffee table books. Truly all of their stickers were such a great vibe as well. They also had a small refrigerator to purchase drinks on a hot summer day. The worker was friendly and allowed us to shop without feeling like we were being followed or watched. She was super chill and very nice upon check out. I decided to purchase an interior design magazine, stunning bowl, the cutest bumper sticker, and a bottled water. This place is also Woman-Owned and Locally-Owned, which it is always fun to support small Nashville Businesses. Give them a visit the next time you need unique gifts for any occasion.

I first heard of gold+ivy through Instagram ads for their warehouse sale, and upon visiting on…read moreSaturday for this annual event, I quickly became a fan! The warehouse sale offered candles at $5 and up and $7 room sprays, along with discounted other candle-related and gift items (cards, bar soap, lip balm, etc.). I walked in with an idea of a couple presents I wanted to buy, and after smelling countless candles and room sprays, walked out with a box of things for friends and myself! The gold+ivy signature "Nashville" scent was a must-smell item - I see how it's so popular and would definitely recommend it. However, my favorites might be Cove, Paradise, and many of the fruity and bakery scents! Though everyone has unique palates, I can't think of anything here that was an absolute "no" from me - which is saying something, given their extensive variety. There were so many amazing-smelling soy candles - some nostalgic scents (I see you, cucumber melon!), some hard-to-put-my-finger-on for being sentimental, others deliciously fruity or bakery/coffee-forward, still more that were clean or woodsy or floral. It was easy to spend over an hour here, and I was grateful for the jars of coffee beans dispersed throughout the tables of candles and sprays to "reset" between fragrances. Service here was kind and friendly (even met one of the owners on our way out), and their strip-mall-style location with free parking made it easy to stop in and shop. I look forward to enjoying my new candles and shopping from gold+ivy more in the future!
