Owner says they had an off day, that I had every right to be upset and that she fired one of their…read moreemployees after my DEEP clean was so bad but still charged $730 for a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath + LR + Kitchen and playroom and asked that I hire her back so they can show us how they really clean. Not at 2-3x the cost of other services that do a better job. The original estimate was $850 and she offered $60 off for the bad job. When I said I didn't think that was fair for what I received she said she would go as low as $730 but I'd have to pay extra if I want to pay via PayPal. 3 people were here for 3.5 hours. I had to ask that all the bathrooms be cleaned again because they were not clean the first time and I still had to wipe the outside of the bowl after. Walk through was rushed because I had to leave for a meeting and the rest of the crew was sitting in the car in the rain and wanted to leave. One person, after cleaning the bathroom floor a second time because it still had dust and hair on it then shook her rag out onto the already vacuumed carpet outside the room. Things they missed were basic: top of the inside of the microwave (they did it after I asked), top of the fridge, sides of the toilets, in one case the *inside of the toilet* (was cleaned well by the team lead after I pointed it out), dried shampoo on the tile around the tub (cleaned twice and still dirty), the shower door track (cleaned twice and still dirty), the actual shower door, faucets weren't cleaned the first time, dirt and dust behind doors, dusting picture frames and lamps, the corners of windows and window sills, the front faces of the washing machine, dusting the fireplace mantle, trash on the nightstand, clumps of cat hair on the duvet, half of the light switch faceplates they claim to sanitize still had a layer of dust on them, etc. Some areas were done well (1 of the 3 cleaners knew what they were doing). In those cases the beds were made, everything on a shelf or nightstand or a counter was taken off, it was cleaned and things were wiped down as they were put back. Emily was extremely thorough in cleaning a Lego table and so considerate about my kids play area. I grew up cleaning houses with my mom and know how hard it is but this was unacceptable, the owner agreed. This was supposed to give me peace of mind and less stress and it did the exact opposite. I hate leaving bad reviews because running a small business is tough but this job was not handled well. This wasn't easy to write but I feel the need to let other people know before they spend that kind of money.
