It was beautiful the first year, with only a few scattered popouts. Unfortunately, our experience over the past three years has been disappointing. Within the 3 year warranty period, our patio began developing widespread popouts. We reported the issue during the warranty window, repairs were completed, and an additional $800 was paid to IDC during that process. Despite the repair, which we appreciated, the condition continued and worsened over the past year. Most recently, June 4th, while simply rinsing the patio with a garden hose, additional pieces of concrete broke loose from the surface, further increasing our concern about the patio's condition and long-term durability. After the warranty period ended, we requested another meeting to discuss the continued deterioration. During that visit, much of the discussion focused on the normality of this condition, with comparisons to our 20+ year-old driveway and repeated suggestions that salt or another product may have contributed to the damage. We explained that we do not use salt on the patio and that the only treatment applied to the surface was power washing and sealing completed by IDC. During this same meeting, we were also told the warranty may have been affected because we had only paid to have the patio professionally power washed and sealed by IDC one time during the three-year period, despite yearly sealing being an additional service at our expense. This was surprising to us, especially since the deterioration had already begun and was reported during the warranty period. When we asked whether customers should reasonably expect a properly installed patio less than four years old to deteriorate in this way, we did not receive an answer. We were offered an additional repair option at our expense, but were also told there was no prior experience showing whether the proposed solution would stop the issue long term. Because we wanted to better understand what we were seeing, we sought opinions from other concrete professionals. Based on those conversations, we have been told the condition appears likely to be ongoing and that repairs may require repeated maintenance and expense over time rather than a permanent solution. We were advised that patching and refinishing may improve appearance temporarily but would most likely not permanently stop future popouts. Complete tear out and repouring was recommended since repairs would be costly and temporary. We understand concrete can naturally have imperfections, and we never expected perfection. However, our contract references minor popouts, while what we are experiencing is widespread deterioration that began during the warranty period and continued after repair. Based on the condition of our patio, which is not yet four years old, along with the professional opinions we received, we do not believe this reflects normal concrete imperfections or the quality of work IDC promotes and are concerned something may have gone wrong with the original installation or materials. We are sharing this experience so future customers can ask detailed questions before signing. What level of deterioration is considered "normal" in the first few years? What does "minor popouts" mean? What happens if a repair completed during the warranty period does not resolve the issue? And what long-term solutions are offered if problems continue? We genuinely hoped and paid for a better quality product and wish this situation had been handled differently. We are left with a patio that is not quite four years old and continues to deteriorate.

We had to shut our kennel down and completely tear it apart which took time and money. Then when the crew got here they told us they could not do what they had quoted us to do. We lost a lot of time and money. It was an inconvenience to our clients and patients because we had to re-arrange surgery schedules, and we have no new floor to show for it. On top of all that, this company could not work with us and make it right. We would not recommend working with this company in the future. Very disappointed!

No mess, no drama, no sketchy Facebook marketplace vibes. Just done. Also saw the job they did at Brookside Park when done--tight, fast, clean. No standing around pretending to look busy. Just handled it. Highly recommend these guys. After contacting 11 companies, receiving 8 quotes ranging from $414-$1195 and narrowing it down to 3 finalists. I paid nearly $800 with Sav-A-Tree (formerly Ping's Tree Service). My tree had a special needs situation and Sav-A-Tree offered a plan to repair. The largest upper branch split into 2 near the top. It would have left a gaping hole if it was removed. Sav-A-Tree offered to secure it with a cable so the limb wouldn't break during future high winds. I also loved Davey Tree Experts, they were my second choice. They offer a VERY price competitive "winter scheduling incentive." Definitely require proof of being insured & bonded for tree work or you could have a homeowner insurance claim for their workers if they're hurt. All the major firms and most family-owned tree companies could produce their insurance/liability information with their quote. Here's my before and after with clean in between and I couldn't be more pleased!

Initially, my contact with the representative Todd Lipking was great and the communication was quick and responsive. Upon signing a Letter of Engagement and giving a deposit, stories changed, communication became spotty at best, and multiple dates of promise for scope of work and contracts being provided were broken. The date promised in the Letter of Engagement was broken by the company by almost 2.5 weeks or 11 business days. Multiple attempts at communication were not returned and finally was reached out to after being 'forgotten about.' The reviews and pictures of the work on Google do look good, and hopefully this is a one off for the company, but I would highly advise caution in dealing with a company that practices business like this especially when projects are of the magnitude and cost they are for custom built-ins and the like.
