Me-Drives vehicle to County Line to save $500 County Line- Takes car apart so its not drive able. Charges over $400 for the estimate for "looking at it" Gives a new estimate over $4k and says I have to do a bunch of other stuff too. Pushy to buy his rebuilt engines that are over $6k that he clearly gets incentives from. Me- Out $400 which I pay. Have to get it towed now because County Line took it apart, and I take it back to the first mechanic who fixed it even cheaper than he quoted from his free estimate. County Line are crooks. Worst mechanic experience in my life. I was told by others later they do this to everyone which is why there are lots of cars in their lot from being unable to pay after their crooked practices.

I'm writing this today because of his honesty. First I need to point out that Countyline does all our routine maintenance including oil changes. They changed the oil in our van about two months ago. Then a few days ago the "Maintenance Required" light on the dash came on. When we delivered the vehicle I mentioned that I'd notice a small oil leak on the floor of the garage. Larry's crew found the nylon oil drain plug gasket was deformed causing a poor seal and thus the tiny leak I noticed. They replaced the gasket which involved draining and saving the nearly new oil. Since both the dash light and the drain leak were items that were related to the oil change service which was done two months ago, Larry opted to provide today's service work at "no charge". He could have told us any story he wanted and we would have been none the wiser but he stood behind his work and his word. That's the kind of automotive service that once you find it you never go anywhere else!
