My room was freezing when I walked in because someone had the air turned on but by the time I got back from dinner it was warm. The WiFi was a bit spotty if there was one thing to point out, but thankfully we were up and out before I had to do any work the next day. It was lovely to include breakfast with our stay as well. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

Upon first glance while lights were off, the room seemed decent however, after turning on the lights, I noticed dead bugs on the bed cover, AC unit and even some areas of the floor. After pulling back the decorative sheet with dead bugs, I noticed that there was crumbs and unknown specs on the bed, and then upon pulling back that layer, I noticed some hair and staining. This was accompanied by hair found on the bathroom floor, a dirty fridge door and a mediocre cleaned microwave that was seemingly the least of our worries. This was a day motel stop after a very long night of driving from a trip out of state. After noticing these issues, I walked to the front office only to request new sheets to which the woman had a slight attitude and then told me that there was no bugs in the room without even coming to take a look. I ensured her there was to which she kept being defensive and then gave me keys to another room telling me that I should just take my stuff out of the room and go to another that she had given me the key to to which I complied. After taking the keys, I want to go check out the other room given that our first room wasn't in a favorable state, but I didn't want to just be stuck with a room worse than what we already had. The second room that she had given me key to the bed coverings were significantly cleaner however the room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I could not stay in the room. I went back to the front office to disclose this and just get some fresh sheets and that's when the woman started stating that she would kick us out of our room that she gave us a "discount" on. Because I went alone to change the sheets, she then started making very distasteful comments saying that because I was the one who directly paid for the room, I shouldn't have a say, and or be picky of the state of the room, she also started getting very loud basically screaming telling me that I'm being difficult and that there's nothing wrong with the room because she's the one who cleans it, but didn't even step foot in the room to look and see what I was talking about, she kept trying to talk over me and kept insisting that because it's 8 AM there's no reason why I should be being this difficult when all I wanted from the start was fresh sheets. I never asked for her to change my room, especially knowing that we're only gonna be here for literally a couple of hours. Not even spending the night and after seeing the state of the room and her disgusting attitude towards me as a person I would not recommend to stay to anyone. I'm not a person who usually leaves reviews, but given such distasteful, dismissive, and very disrespectful treatment I felt this review was very necessary for those looking for a convenient and enjoyable experience because this was anything but that for me.

I have to say, this experience was nothing short of spectacular. We booked the trip to attend a wedding in the family, and they did a beautiful job of hosting the wedding at the resort. Everything was very well put together, the bartenders were extremely attentive and kind, and they didn't miss a single detail. They treated our whole group very well. We were there for four days, and we enjoyed many of the amenities at the resort. We loved the lazy river, and all of the pools available to the guests. My partner loved the karaoke night and really enjoyed all of the nightlife activities. The food was out of this world, and I will include some photos from the delicious meals that we've had. All of the food was very fresh, and I loved that they had stations at the buffet where you could get customized meals; we ended up doing a lot of the custom Pasta and steak combos. We loved that they had a ton of different types of food and they had food for a variety of dietary restrictions which allowed all of our group to be able to enjoy meals together at the resort. We were mind blown that all of the drinks were included in the package, and definitely got our fill on all of the different cocktails! The bartenders were very knowledgable and we were even able to request some specialty drinks that they hadn't heard of before, which they made very well even without much guidance! We did room service a couple of the nights that we were there, and every time, the person who delivered our food made extra effort to make sure that we had everything we needed and would come into the room to set the food up just right. We were so impressed with the staff across the resort and everything available to us during our stay, and we would absolutely come back .

Our entire stay was above and beyond our expectations from the moment we arrived until the moment…read morewe left.  Emanuel (Manny) our preferred club butler and Tatianna from management, along with a number of other workers in the preferred club check-in area, greeted us so warmly and were so welcoming to our service animal that we travel with.  Manny's communication with us every day was outstanding, always helping to make sure we had everything we needed for ourselves and for our service animal, and we had only positive experiences securing spots at restaurants and elsewhere on property with his help.  Housekeeping not only provided the dog amenities in our room, but also provided several other magical touches to make our stay and our service animal's stay the very best.  We were very pleased with the daily room cleaning and turn-down services.  One day we had a cabana on the beach, and the staff, especially Ranchy, were so accommodating and wonderful.  We knew Hyatts were all dog-friendly, but we were really touched how accommodating this property was, including restaurants who made space for her to join us at certain meals.  Food from all of the clubs, cafes, and restaurants across property was excellent.  Servers were all very kind and engaging.  Sandra at Riviera gave us and our service animal such a warm welcome, by name, every morning when we arrived to breakfast. Tatinana also looked after us throughout our stay and would pop by many of our dinners to say hello, talk about the day and make sure we had everything we needed.  A highlight of the property for us was the cabanas along the lazy river pool.  This area of the resort is truly a standout feature - the perfect mix of peace/relaxation and also socialization as other guests pass by on the river.  So many staff on property made an effort to learn our names and our service animal's name, which really put smiles on our faces.  We can't say enough great things about this property and would definitely consider returning.  Also we want to note how comfortable we felt as LGBT guests at the property - all of the staff made us feel right at home at all times. Food/bev add'l review As stated earlier, we were extremely pleased with the quality and amount of food available at all locations on property.  We were also extremely touched by the custom dog cake that the culinary staff created for our service animal's birthday.  It really surpassed our expectations.  Also Tatinana and the culinary staff went out of their way to ensure blueberries were offered to us and our service animal, which we know are not always readily available - but they knew it was one of her favorite foods and made us all so happy for our week away from home.

A grab bar in shower would be appreciated. Any items put on sink counter became wet from water collecting there every time the sink was used. No towel rack or hook in reach of the sink. No hook by tub for easy access to towel. Toilet Paper and tissues supplied were thin and not soft. Fair: Breakfast just okay. Button for hot water required numerous pushes to fill cup.

Great Course. I was invited by a good friend who is a member. This is a private Club. I have played…read morethe Course a few times in the past. It has undergone some major changes in landscape. They have removed hundreds of trees opening up the Course and providing more wide open vistas, especially from the clubhouse terrace. The view from the Clubhouse veranda is fabulous. You can see the LuLu Clubhouse, a neighboring Club, in the distance. The original trolley is still operational. It takes your bags and you up to the Clubhouse from the 18th & 9th greens while caddy's take the carts around up the long winding cart paths. All very quant and old timey. The layout is challenging with many changes in elevation and some very challenging greens. The greens are impeccable although I remember them being even faster. The rough was a bit harsh. Very easy to lose your ball if you do not keep your tee shot on the fairways. A bit windy on our day otherwise conditions were perfect. We never felt pushed and never caught up to any group in front. Caddy master explained they space each group 15 minutes apart. Very nice and quite a change from the 5-7 minute spacing at some public Courses. The staff are wonderful. Friendly, accommodating and always ready to assist. We had a bite to eat after the round. The food is higher end Country Club. Playing here is a real treat as I no longer have a private club membership myself. If you can get on the Course I highly recommend it. Mark.
