I had an amazing experience at Decision Tactical! It was my first time going with my mother in law. The staff was very attentive & helpful the second we arrived. The gun range attendant was very friendly and ran us thru a few drills. The gun feels very real & the accuracy on the screen is pretty amazing. They have a medal detector you walk thru before entering the main area. I am glad for those extra layers of safety. The competition course was on my favorite things. The staff was accommodating & was able to turn the strobe lights off for me. I appreciated that a staff member guided me, since it was my first time on the course. It was fast pace and adventurous. The Scenario was an immersive experience. I could see how this could be very helpful training. The facility was clean, well organized and huge! They offer classes here as well, which is awesome. We drove from Tampa to check out Decision Tactical after seeing it on TikTok, but unfortunately, our group of five left disappointed. The concept is cool, but it's overpriced for what you get. Most of the guns didn't work, the scoring system was broken, and our guide made the whole experience feel more like a police training than fun. The food and drink included didn't help either--we even found a hair in one of the meals. Great idea, but they've got a lot to fix before it's worth the cost. read more

This is not fancy Laser tag. This is the "Holodeck". This is an immersive, 3 dimensional, 360 degree, adrenaline pumping, training range, without using live ammunition. If you have never held a gun in your life, you will come out understanding them and their use. You will learn some practical skills that could save your life and the lives of loved ones around you. This is not boring classroom stuff. This is fun, engaging, immersive, and very educational. I don't care what skill level you have with pistols, CQB, room clearing, house clearing, IPSC, IDPA, Three-Gun, ...whatever, you will be challenged and learn something new. Our guide Ryan (Cowboy) was amazing. He kept it fun, moving and light, with just enough coaching to help you learn without feeling like you failed something. He was very energetic and engaging, although he should probably switch to decaf after lunch. The restaurant/bar was clean and inviting. There is a play area for littler ones. It is the whole package! I am in Orlando a couple times a year, and this will be one of my regular stops. From the minute we walked in to the time we walked out, we had an absolute blast! We booked this as a date day. My boyfriend is extremely proficient with guns, and I am just pathetic with them. I explained this to Buck, our guide for the drill. He was so kind to me, kept encouraging me, gave us background on the facility, chatted and laughed with us, and was an absolute pleasure to spend our afternoon with. At the end, we had the privilege to meet his manager, Jason! Jason is an amazing human being. We could've spent all night talking and laughing with him too! (Jason, the coin is on my mantle with everything else I cherish and it meant the world to me!) We got some food and drinks at the bar with Logan afterwards. It wasn't surprising that Logan was awesome too! What an amazing staff, delicious food (try the burger of the month with the plantains on it,) top notch cocktails and cigars, and just an amazing experience! Our family had such a blast! We attended the one year anniversary afternoon event with our daughters (13, 11, 7, and 9 mos. Our guide, Derek, was great with slowing instructions down for our girls and helping them gain confidence with shooting and reloading. My favorite moment was watching my 7 year old go in to the house scene with her dad, a bit apprehensive. Next thing you know she's made it out and has a huge smile on her face shouting, "That was so cool!" The experience really boosted her confidence. The very next day after Sunday school, her teacher said she really opened up and engaged in class. "It's the bravest she's ever been," were the teacher's words. As a mom with a baby in tow, I was worried I'd have to sit out while my family enjoyed all the fun, but thankfully that wasn't the case. There was plenty of time and opportunity to switch out with my husband and enjoy the courses for myself with my girls. I would recommend baby wearing for the shooting range practice, but other than that if you have someone else with you to hold baby, you won't have to sit out on the fun. The only regret one of my girls had was not bringing her noise cancelling headset because the sound of the shots was a bit too loud for her comfort, so consider bringing those or may DT could get some to have on hand (if they don't already - we didn't ask). We've been telling everyone about it! P.S. They even record footage of you going through the obstacle course and send it for you to keep - my daughters love being able to show their friends what they did. read more

This brand new facility was very modern and had a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the menus had a good selection of food. The pretzel was especially the highlight of the appetizers. The only reason I can not give this restaurant 5 stars is because the fries were burnt to a crisp. The waitress even wanted to argue that that's how the fries come, though the website shows normal colored fries that I did not receive. Overall I could recommend this restaurant but I'd pay attention to how the fries are cooked in the future. read more

This is an amazing concept for those who would like to have a safe place to practice their gun skills. Food was great too!

It's a really great concept but there were some significant issues when it came to the pistol jamming. This not only happened to me but others in my party. The employee stated it may be a design flaw with the CO2 cartridge cold temperature causing the mechanism to fail. The prices are pretty expensive when you realize that the actual time shooting is only 8-10 minutes and costs $40. Hope they can improve from these issues and consider reducing their prices. read more

If you have not been to Decision Tactical in the old movie theater near the mall, you must go!!! The Patriot Burger was delicious and the beers cold! There are darts and cornhole in an adjacent room, but the best part is the simulation shooting! As a retired law enforcement officer, I am very impressed with the facility! There is a gun range, multiple tactical obstacle courses and live action scenarios, all with simunitions. It has become a training facility for the Feds and law enforcement agencies throughout the South East, so they are closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am looking forward to starting Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes there, but they also offer Krav Maga and a few others. So happy to see this in the area. I will definitely be back!! read more

We recently visited Decision Tactical for a corporate event. The staff was amazing! Tom assisted to make sure our food ordered was well stocked and taken care of. The experiences were great! Knowledgeable staff and lots of fun for all whether you do the range or the various scenarios. Great for team building and relationship building. One of our leads, (Ryan/ also known as "Cowboy") during the experiences helped keep the group pumped up and excited as we waited our turn to do the competition portion. He was lively and engaging! Everyone had a blast, great for all ages, all experience levels. Safe environment as no live ammo. Also another area available for those that don't want to do the experiences but can do other games like cornhole, Jenga and darts. Kept our entire group entertained. Will be tough to beat when we plan our annual event for next year! Definitely recommend whether corporate event or family event. read more
