It was packed but no a/c blowing at all and none of the employees mentioned this during check in. Many people left after 1-2 rounds but because I was teaching my nephew , we sucked it up. If you're a regular range user, become a member. If you go twice a month or more the membership pays for itself. Remember to NOT bring reloads, steel or Al cased ammo. I always have a good time when I go to shoot straight! Recently signed up for the membership, which is $30 a month! I think it's definitely worth it if you go at least 2 times a month. It's never a hassle, I just present my card/sign in and I'm ready to go if a base is available. I read other reviews about ammo pricing, I haven't purchased ammo here and instead always bring my own, which may or may not be a better price! I've told myself plenty of times throughout the past few years that I will definitely shoot at this place. Well, that day has finally bestowed itself upon me! It guess it took one of my best friends from back home visiting to motivate me. So the place is much smaller than I thought it would be but it works. It's a bit overwhelming when you first enter because there are various glass display cases with guys standing behind them and there's no distinct pathway so you kind of roam around. We finally found the check-in area and Nick took care of us. He was very helpful, explained how they operate, and answered all of our questions. He was cool and professional so I appreciated the customer service aspect of my experience on top of having a grand ol' time bustin' caps! (Errr.. is that term even used anymore?!) I brought my own pistol but really wanted to rent (my future purchase) Glock 19. I wanted to 'test drive' it and also have my boy enjoy it as well. I got a box of amo, 2 target sheets, and opted for a monthly renewable membership since it cost only $6 more than a $19/hr fee they charge. I paid $70, with the Glock rental being free (1sr rental). Not bad for some gun blasting bonding time. Good experience, cool place, great customer service, decent prices, good time. Oh and I'll be back for that Glock! read more

It was my first time ever at a shooting range let alone shooting a gun. My son really likes it there so I joined him to give it a go. I got scared with the loud noise so stepped out. When I came back in the store, Rachel was so kind to me and convinced me to give it another try since others had finished and it wasn't so loud. We decided to go shooting with some friends and we were impressed with this gun range. Firstly if you're on the east side of town, this is pretty much the only gun range that's nearby. I really appreciated how the staff made sure everyone was following the rules in the range. Overall it felt like a safe environment, especially for those that are new to shooting. They do get very busy on the weekend. If you plan to go on a Saturday, aim to get there as early as possible. Sadly it is probably the worst range I have ever been too. The space between lanes is miniscule. I kept getting hit in the head, shoulder and hot spent shells kept going down the back of my shirt. They are well aware of the problem but apparently do not care enough to fix the problem. Plus their fee is twice what the others charge. Also other places I been to will give you free range time if you buy a firearm, not these cheapskate. All in all not a good experience. Came to pick up a gun I had purchased online. The store didn't have it, but it was shipped to this store from one that did. They have several locations. I called to see if the gun had arrived, it had been over a week since I ordered and I had not heard anything. As it turned out, the delivery truck was supposed to arrive that day and did not. I asked what I should do, they said they'd call me as soon as they got the gun. Ok. That's easy. All I gotta do is wait. They called the very next day to tell me I could come pick it up. I asked about their hours because I was working all day and night Friday and Saturday. I was happy to hear they have Sunday hours! Pickup was super easy. I showed my ID, filled out a form, which thankfully they reviewed because I made a couple errors, waited for the background check and paid $5. I had the gun in my hand in less than 30 min. During that time, I shopped around the store. They have fresh deal on gun cleaning kits. They also sell ear and eye protection, gun cases and bags, guns, and holsters. They had three huge bins of holsters on sale with an extra mark down, but none matched what I needed. I asked about the range- eye and ear protection is available and they offer it at no charge. Range fees are $17.99 an hour but on Monday, ladies shoot for free! Targets cost about $0.85. You can even purchase their ammo if you don't have any. I came back the next day to try out my gun. The gal remembered my name and said hello to me! Wow!!! The aisle for the range I was given had some issues with the target motor. In fact, it broke while I was trying to use it. They did not blame me. They attempted to fix it but eventually just put me in another aisle. The range is air conditioned. The first few aisles are a lot cooler than the back aisles. I was glad To be in the back, where I wasn't freezing. I had fun shooting my guns. The staff was around reminding people about how and where to load their weapons, etc. Before I left, I picked up a gun cleaning kit and a case. Their prices are better than amazon. Parking is plentiful. Pretty sure they have a restroom but I didn't use it. I will definitely be back. They have memberships for those who want to shoot more regularly. read more

Went to a gun range for the first time to hang out with my son and this is his usual spot. Everyone working there were very friendly and informative. This gun store offers a large variety and the gun range is near the rear of the store. Everything is available for the range, noise cancelling headphones, glasses but you'll need to pay for the paper targets, ammo, and gun. Just bring your own. Pretty clean and organized. The place was busy but not overcrowded when we arrived a bit after opening. Masks are required and employees and shoppers and those shooting all wore face coverings. Safety instructions were posted everywhere. The sign-in process was easy for us first-timers and it helps to read the website for requirements ahead of time. I purchased some ammo knowing (from inside intel) that I'd pay a premium. However, the caliber I needed was reasonably priced (but not so for the shells my friend bought). Clean protective eyewear and earmuffs are provided free of charge while you Shoot. Our section of the range only had one other lane besides ours that was being used. So, we had plenty of room (and a somewhat lower noise level). My guess for success here is when you know what you're doing or have someone along with you who knows guns, you're pretty much guaranteed a safe and fun time. read more

GUN BUYERS BEWARE! Years ago I purchased 2 guns from this location and I received a fair price, a little below MSRP. For the last week I have been looking for a Daniel Defense with on-line sellers and other retail outlets, I was ALWAYS being quoted below MSRP or at MSRP. Then, I called this location June 7th and asked for the price. The price quoted was almost $100 ABOVE MSRP. The guy told me, I can come in and possibly negotiate for a lower price. I was completely shocked. I said what is this a used car? I asked if he could be at MSRP or lower like the other store retailers or online sellers. He said a hard, NO. It pays to take some time to shop around. I will probably never buy a gun from this Company unless they made me an offer so fantastic it will remove this permanently sour taste I have in my mouth. read more

Friendly staff, very clean and organized layout, and every time I've been there, there is little-to-no wait time to get in and start shooting. They are also very efficient with cleaning up spent casings in order to avoid tripping/slipping hazards. They also seemed to be quite lenient with allowing an appropriate degree of rapid fire fun. Great location with a knowledgeable staff. They've been very efficient and helpful for all of my transactions and have inventory I wasn't able to find anywhere else locally, such as a ZEV G19, Nighthawk Agent II, and Daniel Defense brand rifles. Some display cases, such as where the optics/scopes are, I'd like to be more visible but there are so many firearms that they need all the space they can get. Occasionally I'll run into a staff member that will be lacking in their sales skills and overcompensate their knowledge of firearms or Florida laws. On one occasion I was called out within 10 seconds of walking into the store for printing (when your concealed firearm creates an outline/silhouette under your clothing). Although it is a gray area, I'm not familiar with that being law, but I allowed him to complete his speech- after which I lifted my shirt to show him I was in fact not concealing anything at all. After a vague apology, he finally welcomed me into the store. BUT, overall I love this location for its selection, the range is nice (for an indoor range), and the staff is great to work with 9 times out of 10. read more

Counterperson was clueless, went back in the office to ask someone, a Woman came out and snapped that they don't sell sights for revolvers and she pointed to the showcase and started to explain what a semi-auto pistol was to a revolver, in a very condescending tone. Really? I think I know the difference being a shooter for over 70 years. Went up the street to Action Arms across from the Courthouse. Logan at the counter knew exactly what I was looking for, ordered the sight Monday while I was still in the store, at a better price I could find anywhere, sight came in Friday, ran over they installed and pinned the sight at NO CHARGE while I waited. Today, my younger brother and I hit the range for some practice. Ladies shoot for free on Mondays, a great deal for a population possibly more reserved about taking aim. For about $30 you get one hour with protective gear. A unique experience that teaches you about the importance of knowing what you are doing and committing to focus. Men, women, and young adults can fire 9mm, revolvers,.22s, rifles, etc. Courses are available and drawings are held to award free memberships for one month. Practice, they say, makes perfect and while we may hope to never have a need to fire a weapon, your best bet is to be aware, be prepared, and Shoot Straight. read more

I've shot at quite a few ranges & this place was pretty nice. The place was clean, and the staff was attentive & friendly. Pricing isn't too bad for range time but I do suggest bringing your own ammo & targets. Proper safety precautions are taken & the range is pretty well maintained & supervised. The range itself is divided into two rooms & has plenty of space for your guns, ammo, range bag, etc. If your target should fall from the clip the staff will replace it free of charge.(A lot of places won't offer this courtesy) They do rent guns but the selection is rather small & limited to pistols. The one standout was the target pricing. The dmaller targets were relatively cheap at under a $1 but $2 for a black & white paper zombie target was a bit high. The showroom is on the fancier side with wood floors and lots of square footage. Several display cases show off Desert Eagles & SW 500. There's a huge wall of SMG's, Shotguns, & Assault Rifles as well. Check out some of my photos. Five stars for the facility, one star for the staff. Pros, clean and well lit range, easy no-fuss target functions, competitively priced. Cons, first ones in the door yesterday as the range opened. The two kids working the counter for range rental had that "too cool for school" BS attitude. Customer service was zero but let's get away from my opinion and get to the facts. I brought in a Pelican rifle case and purchased 5.56 ammo. At this point, what would you assume I'm firing? Let's keep going... I'm assigned to lane 5. I get three rounds off with my AR before the staff stopped me and asked, "Is that a rifle?" Not one to cause a scene I simply answered yes (thinking however: this long, scary black thing I'm firing the 5.56 ammo I purchased from you that came out of the rifle case is in fact a rifle. Good call Captain Obvious). They asked me to go lane 11 but turned the power off to my lane so I could not retrieve my target. Get some grown ups to run the place. Whoever was working Saturday at 10am sucks. read more

Went to the facility with my son and grandson on a Sunday afternoon. So crowded, I understand why accidents happen at this facility. The range line is about 3 foot wide, and the door kept opening on our backs. Unsafe facility and not worth the $$$$. They charged us $53 $$$ for one lane for 1 hour. Go elsewhere where there isn't a crowd of unsupervised idiots carelessly opening doors. read more

Went here to get my Concealed Weapons Permit Training certification. Very impressed with the service and teacher. Highly recommend Paul Schuck. Great class and incredibly patient and understanding if you are a first time gun owner or someone going through the course again. Their are a lot of options that you can decide on where to get your certificate, but, I highly recommend this location. You learn the basics, get to shoot two shots with the assistance from the instructor, get some questions answered, and will receive a certificate at the end of the class. read more
