The food was prepared in an open-air kitchen setting when you walk in the door which fills the entire space with the delicious smells of the Indian cuisine we all know and love. The packaging was all correct and generic with traditional thank you bags you'd expect from a regular restaurant. We ordered the Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala with 2 orders of garlic naan. The Lamb was adequately portioned and flavorful with the flavored basmati rice accompanying the lamb chunks. The Butter and Tikka Masala Chickens were both boneless chunks in plentiful and flavorful sauces. The naan bread was quite disappointing as it felt like a regular serving of pita bread with a couple of garlic cloves lightly roasted and thrown on top. That was a huge let down as I love dipping naan in different sauces. The staff seemed nice and I would entertain the idea of coming in for dine to see if the portion sizes would be a bit larger dining in person. The steep prices for what we received was my major concern with a 3-3.5 star rating. I believe they could be slightly adjusted to better match competition in the area.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Cape Coral…read more We came to Masala Mantra to celebrate my son's birthday in December. He loves Indian food, so we brought a large family group with kids--and wow, this place delivered on every level. The service was outstanding. Our server, AUSTIN, was attentive, friendly, and completely on top of everything (with a big group, that's saying a lot). Food came out quickly, everything was fresh and perfectly prepared, and there was never a moment where we felt forgotten. Here's what really impressed me: my son's favorite dish--and mine--wasn't even on the menu (mattar paneer, peas and cheese). We asked if they could make it anyway, and not only did they say yes, it was the best version we've ever had. Absolute perfection. The chef and owners were present, checking on tables and making sure every guest was happy. You can feel the pride and care they put into both the food and the experience. Even people in our group who aren't usually fans of Indian food loved their meals. And managing a large party with little kids? They handled it like pros. Masala Mantra deserves every bit of its high rating--and honestly, more. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It was something I had never tried, and I am not vegetarian or vegan. It just sounded really delicious, so I went for it! The eggplant and tomato curry was perfectly spiced, tasted savory and hit every note of my home cooking tastebuds! The coconut rice was sweet and fragrant and fruity and devine! The combination of the two created the most delicious mixture that I am excited to order the dish again soon!

When you think of the best meal you've ever enjoyed, most would describe a dish prepared by their…read moregrandmother's hands--a recipe passed down through generations. Tradition is only preserved if the baton is passed to someone willing to run with all their might toward the next person in line. That is exactly what Borhan Ahmed did with his mother Akther's recipes. He carried those flavors in his heart, eventually inheriting his mother's most prized possession: her recipe book. After leaving Bangladesh at the age of 17 and exploring four different continents, Borhan recognized that while every generation changes, the essence of flavor remains. He took it upon himself to learn the diverse profiles of his journeys and infuse them into his own unique formula. Before establishing himself here in Naples, Borhan met his 'secret ingredient' in New York: his wife, Angela. She fell in love not just with him, but with the intoxicating biryanis and fragrant kormas he prepared in their tiny apartment kitchen. 'The first time he cooked for me,' Angela recalls with a smile, 'I knew I was tasting something extraordinary; it wasn't just food, it was poetry.' Beyond her love for him, Angela saw a vision--she believed these recipes were a gift that needed to be shared with the world.  Established in Naples, Florida in 1992, this restaurant's story is essential to understanding the experience. From the history to the plate, every detail feels purely intentional in all regards. Now, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FOOD! This was our first time visiting, but it absolutely won't be our last. The moment you walk through the doors, it feels like coming home. The ambiance is cozy, with soft, dim lighting and a front-of-house team that welcomes you with genuine warmth. The next thing that hits you is the aroma--a perfect harmony of spices. It felt as though it was specifically designed to set the tone for what was to come: a meal prepared with pure intention   Heres what we tried: Garlic Naan You can never go wrong with this option, and they did everything right. It was the perfect balance of soft and crisp, with just the right amount of savory garlic. Chicken Korma Tender, boneless chicken braised in a velvety yogurt base infused with the earthy warmth of cumin and coriander. The addition of garlic provided a subtle bite, while the slow-cooked potatoes absorbed every bit of the fragrant sauce. Cabbage Bhaji A vibrant, light side dish of finely shredded cabbage sautéed with turmeric and spices. It offered a wonderful texture that complemented the richness of the main course. Pilau Rice The perfect pairing for the meal--aromatic, fluffy, and infused with delicate spices that tied all the flavors together. We can't wait to return and try other combinations; this is officially one of our go-to spots. If you are looking for a true passage to India right here in Naples, FL--this is a must-try!

GIB has a pleasant ambiance: soft lighting, classical Indian music playing, pictures and statues of Hindu deities. Service was excellent by Sonia, who is the co-owner. Apparently, they had an Indian restaurant in Germany and only recently relocated to Bonita Springs, FL (they are in the Prado theater shopping center). We ordered a bottle of French Pinot Noir, $35 that was quite good. GIB starts by offering patrons some papadum, which some Indian restaurants actually charge for. We decided to start with an order of Samosas, $11. which can be ordered stuffed with minced lamb or stuffed with vegetables. We had one of each. Both yummy. For entrees, we had Murgh Makhani (butter chicken), $25 and Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese), $21 with one Paratha bread, $5. Of course, rice was included with meals. Everything was simply delicious. Happy to have discovered a new quality eatery in the area. Try GIB once and I'll bet you will return.
