I thought calling themselves the Root Canal specialists was a little corny, but they lived up to their name by doing ONE thing and doing that one thing incredibly. Dr. Clark was very approachable and open to questions. He explains what and why he was doing something. His "chair side manner" was great. The office atmosphere was nice (though a bit on the chilly side), and you got headphones and a movie to watch. That really does help the time go quickly and also helps avoid the awkward situation of the dentist feeling obligated to talk to you and you not being able to answer with your mouth agape. All-in-all, a scary experience was made much less dramatic with this great service. Highly recommended.

Thankfully so, because I needed a root canal. Dr Palmer was amazing. Actually, the whole staff was - from the receptionist to his assistant (Lauren? sorry - in a lot of pain). Anyway, Dr Palmer explained everything very well, they took great care to ensure I felt no pain - and I felt none. They put a movie on and I had head phones to listen. Very accommadating. After reading other reviews that all indicated how quick and relatively pain free this procedure was at Sage Endododontics, and reminding myself I've had two total knee replacements, with months of pain, I assured myself that this wasn't going to be too bad. I was still nervous about it. I shouldn't have been. From the time I called for an appointment to the actual root canal, everything went smoothly. The staff couldn't have been nicer, or the process easier. When I called for the appointment I was told since I had no dental insurance that the cost would be $1700 and that was all inclusive. I arrived early, and was told that the person scheduled before me never showed up, so I was taken earlier than my appointment time. First, they took some x-rays in the chair, and then led me to an adjacent room where they took 360 degree x-rays. I returned to the chair and the assistant put the x-rays on a small illuminated viewer for Dr. Corretjer to review. (They referred to her by her middle name, Dr. Garcia). She came in a few minutes later and looked at the x-rays and asked me if I had any questions. I only had one, "How long will the procedure take?" She said, "About 20 minutes." Amazing! I was offered a blanket, which I accepted, as well as watching Netflix or the HG channel while the procedure was done. I decided just to close my eyes and try to relax while it happened. I was told by the assistant that if I felt any pain to raise my hand, and if I needed them to suction any excess salava to raise my index finger. During the root canal I didn't have either of those things happen. They put what looked like dark sunglasses over my regular glasses and then Dr. Garcia applied some numbing gel to my gums. Then she injected the local anesthetic in 3 spots around the affected tooth. Even the injections were about half the pain I remembered having when I had a crown installed years ago. My root canal only took 20 minutes as predicted by Dr. Garcia. Other than the numbing injections, it was completely painless. When it was done, they took a few more x-rays in the chair, and that was that. I was given a sheet of post operative instructions, and told I could return in a year for a complimentary follow-up exam. I was directed to contact my dentist to have a permanent filling put in within 2-4 weeks. If you need a root canal I highly recommend Sage Endodontics as the place to have it done. I had a five star experience there.
