He prescribed appropriate medication for the scratch, cautioned me about rubbing my eyes while baling hay, (actually suggested shielding my eyes while haying) Eye healed fine. I was asked to come in early for new patient paperwork. I arrived at 10. At 11:05, I had still not been seen, given an explanation or new estimated time, or even simply apologized to for wait time... When I asked the secretary about my appointment, all she could tell me was that she had my appointment time marked as 10:30. I followed up by asking if she knew if I'd be seen soon. She just told me that no one had grabbed my chart yet. I work in the city, and needed to be back at work by 1pm. I weighed my options and realized I had to leave. I took off a half day at work to make this appointment. It was a suggested follow up for an eye infection. This wasn't an eye exam I can do another time. I left so frustrated. I felt like it was very reflective of how they prioritize patient time. In summary, if you'd like to spend your PTO at an office that doesn't give you the correct appointment time and also expects you to wait 30-1hour this is your office. Wish I could comment on the actual care provided, didn't experience it myself. If I had, I wouldn't have had more than ten minutes with the doctor.

Was charged $44 for the whole eye picture and never given results. The eye exam itself was postponed. Was prescribed antibiotics for stye which cleared up nicely. However, Dr. Corner had me come back for a follow-up 2 days later at the co-pay cost of over $53. If that wasn't odd enough she scheduled me for another follow-up 1 week from that date. I would imagine copay another $53. Meanwhile, eye exam will not happen for almost a month. I guess I would get results for $44 test then at exam time? My wife has stage 4 ovarian cancer which is terminal. I have better things to do with our money than feed this greedy outfit. Better companies out there!

They added tests and procedures i…read morenever asked for ( to pad the bill )and i left the office half blind from the tests, With my insurance and CASH I paid the bill IN FULL. a month later i recieved a bill for $11.00, Went in to see about it and was told they rebilled my insurance and it was paid. Now another month later i received ANOTHER BILL, this time for $44.77. i only gave it 1 star cause there were no lower options.

Complete transparency, Dr. Miles is always fantastic, but the staff at her old location was not. The ENTIRE staff at Kirkwood Eye Associates is fantastic! They are always super helpful and go out of their way to ensure you have a great visit and don't leave with a bunch of unanswered questions. They take as much time as needed to walk you through everything, explain everything and what I like most is there is never pressure to spend money. In fact, they suggest ways to save you money in a lot of cases. If you need contacts, glasses, whatever - look no further, Kirkwood Eye Associates is the best!
