I called shortly after learning they were open and scheduled my appointment. I was able to get a routine cleaning on the books within a week or two which is way sooner than I expected. The location is nice, brand new facilities, and it seems to be very low volume at the moment as I've been about the only person in the waiting room for the cleaning and follow-up work I needed done. I have never complained about paying out of pocket. In my entire adult life, I was never charged this much for a routine cleaning, which was only partially done (no polishing)! I bought the Package ($315) they offer, which is supposed to include 2 cleanings (6 months apart) and x-rays and exam for the year. My appt for December 30th only included the x-rays, I was told I needed to come back for the cleaning, which was scheduled for January 5th. When I arrived at said time, but I wasn't on their books and had to come back the next day. I was charged an addition $210 for the cleaning after the hygienist told me this was included with my package, which they now claim was a "deep cleaning", but it was not any different from any routine cleaning I have had every 6 months my entire life. Now I'm scheduled to go back in February for the polishing which should have been done with the cleaning! Triangle Family Dentistry in Pittsboro is scamming people who do not have insurance. Probably scamming insurance companies also... We are paying for their designer waiting room and taking up the entire second floor of the building.

In panic and hopeful desperation , I called for an appointment on Dec 22 and was seen on December 23. Figuring on the worse but hoping for a temporary relief, I was amazed to have the dentist tell me that it was only a deterioration of glue and he could fix me right there and then!!! And he did. I'd recommend him to anyone in the Chapel Hill area-- in fact I've already recommended him to some coworkers and other friends. The office is less of a dentist office and more of a spa. There is a water feature on the far side when you walk in, free coffee and other drinks, plush chairs, and always a helpful person at the front desk when you walk in. The seat used during cleanings and procedures is extra comfortable-- I've sat in a lot of dentist chairs and never given them two thoughts, but the seats at Studio G are way better for some reason. The technician pulls a TV monitor over your head while cleaning, and the lights used inside your mouth are very focused so they're not beaming you in the eyes. I think there is a fish tank connecting some of the rooms. Really nice touches. But again, Dr. Hardin is the best. My wife said he is the only dentist to give her fillings that didn't hurt.
