Deborah Woolley was my therapist. When my partner contacted her with concerns about my therapy, Deborah responded. Though I was not informed and did not give my consent, my therapeutic issues were the focus of their written communication. Such a serious breach of trust caused me great distress and ended whatever therapeutic gains there had been. Deborah's response to my request to meet with her to discuss the matter was to threaten me. My experience should cause others to carefully weigh their requirements when considering her services as a therapist.
11/1/13--Since I left "therapy" with this compulsive liar who is mean to boot, my life is has taken a turn for the better. Deborah is the kind of person that should never--ever, work with clients, especially those with trauma histories. Thankfully, I found an excellent therapist who was able to help me navigate the remaining part of dealing with law enforcement to assist in resolving a cold case that involved the murder of a little girl. People like Deborah will never admit to the pain that she causes. I used to feel ashamed that I ever trusted her, but now I realize that she puts on a front that was tailor made for anyone with the issues I had. My advice for anyone seeing her is to RUN to the nearest door and keep going. read more
