The course…read moreoffers a challenging layout with plenty of elevation changes, strategically placed hazards, and several memorable holes. It definitely rewards accurate shots and good course management. The views throughout the property are beautiful, and the course provides a nice escape from the surrounding city. Most areas were in solid condition, although a few spots could use some additional attention. The pace of play was also a little slower than I would have preferred. Also the walk to the range can be brutal Overall, the Babe is a fun and demanding course that will test every part of your game. I would recommend it to golfers looking for a challenging Southern California round, and I'd definitely play it again.

Well it's exaggerating a bit, but the condition of the greens and fairways were definitely as good as they could've been for a popular public course. We played the Ike course, though it was the easier one it was still pretty challenging; a lot of ups and downs in terms of terrain, but nonetheless fun. It was one of those one minute you want to give up golf and the next minute you're in love with it again type of situation.

All you need is a wedge and putter. Only $3 during the week and $4 off peak. 25c to rent a club. The course itself is set in a park (Hornby Park). As a result there are people walking around and picnicking around the holes. It is not a place for the serious golfer, but a great place to take kids to get them started. Quite challenging as the greens are only about 10ft wide. There is rarely someone working here, so most of the time it will be free to play. No fences and in the park, so you can just walk on and play. Full review and pics on my website.

The golf course is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The fairways and greens are in good condition and are well-maintained. Irrigation is good, too. We played during a rain shower and I played so well. No flooding. The undulating greens are super challenging for having short holes. The longest hole would have to be the 15th. The pond is on the right and the trail is above on your left, too. Sometimes I think someone is angry when they're selecting where to place the pins, especially on the third. Who hurt you? LOL Today, it was the third, fifth and the fourteenth. The greens definitely have a lot of character. The fairways are kept, too. The little creeks between the holes are awesome, and the pond between the fourteenth and fifteenth holes always have beautiful swans and ducks in or around them. If you're looking to squeeze in a game so you can relax and have some quiet time, Arroyo Seco is the course where you'll want to be.

This event is solely based on Annandale as an event space. I have never personally been to the club…read moreas a member or guest, I've only been there for private events and if I could give this place 100 stars, I would. When rain threatened to ruin the evening (event was being held outside on the lawn area) about two hours before the guests arrived the client had to make the decision to move the event inside and under the covered patio. When I say Annandale stepped up in a big way, I truly mean it. Every single staff member that was on their property from the valet to the maintenance guys to the servers help move about 30 tables and 300 (Ish) chairs inside, replace the linens, reset the tables, wipe off the chairs and make it look like it was always supposed to be set up that way. If you were a guest arriving at the event you would've never known what happened an hour earlier. The staff at this place is amazing from the banquet managers to the service managers wow just really can't say enough about this place. We do several events a year at Annandale and have never had any issues. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a fabulous event space with amazing food, great staff and beautiful ambience, this is your place!

Before I forget, they are a cashless facility. Sometimes I buy golf clubs at the thrift store. I'm not sure if they rent them, but you could always ask. What made my last visit so fascinating was the employee working at the driving range. I didn't know where I could buy a Tee for the mat, so I took the chance and asked the worker if I could buy one there. He said I'll bring one down for you on my way back down. I said thank you and deep down I was so grateful it was going to make my experience so much better. I am a woman who has been golfing since high school. I have never taken a lesson although I love the sport. I've only ever stuck to the driving range. It's my thing. Someone once told me no one is a professional out here unless you have a green blazer. lol I got the joke

Alhambra golf driving range and course are an excellent place to start learning how to golf…read more The range has a shot tracer that you can connect to your phone to track all of your shots. It can get quite busy during peak hours and especially in the summer. There is also an area to practice short pitch shots and a sand trap. A bucket of balls cost a bit more than the average range but the shot tracer is well worth it. The 18 hole course is a bit better than your typical muni course. Greens aren't in the best shape but they are decent for the cost of the round. There is also a proshop with all you need and more to play a round. I highly recommend Alhambra Golf course!

I love this program and I am super grateful to continue to learn and grow and build a greater love for the sports of golf. I've played some of the best disc golf courses in SoCal and some of the worst and this place falls…read morefairly in the middle. One of my biggest issues with DeBell are the lack of proper tee pads and lack of proper signage which can lead to frustrating rounds. They conveniently post a map at the office, but to keep referring to a map you take a picture of on your phone constantly can get annoying. They try to update uDisc regularly, but again, when it's not accurate, you're left trying to figure things yourself. Terrain is another problem. For the most part it's well maintained, but if you're paying 6-8 bucks to play on this course, there's a part of you that wishes things were a little better. On a rainy day or the ones after it, don't expect good footing anywhere. The biggest problem though are the people. The staff is actually wonderful and very friendly...but the patrons can be hit or miss. It's a shared course with regular golf and some of the ball golfers can be a bit rude or aloof. Sure, it's a problem anywhere, but I've seen a lot of golfers not follow proper etiquette (slow play and large groups) and feel entitled to the course since it's for "golf." When you get past all it's faults...DeBell is kind of a hidden gem. In a big, mostly flat city like Burbank, there's not of open space and going up that hill past downtown Burbank, there's some really beautiful nature areas to find. On a sunny day with a cool breeze, playing here is a real delight. Away from the busy streets and noise of the city, you can really spend a calm day here. As you overlook the city, it's one of the better places in town to take in a sunset. Sometimes, you'll run into some nature with everything from lizards, skunks, rabbits, and the occasional deer. As far as disc golf goes, the course is mostly good. They change the layouts regularly and the positions can be in challenging positions...other times it feels like someone just moved the basket without any thought to why a hole should be that way. There's everything you want from a course...decent amount of trees, distance, and elevation changes. It's only 9 holes and there isn't a lot of long holes, but it's a nice challenge if you wanna spend a couple hours working on your game in relative peace.
