Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. Right before our wedding, our coordinator was replaced, which led to confusion over prices and our chosen menu. We met with the new coordinator and the owner, who assured us everything would be honored as agreed. (A meeting we requested) However, on the wedding day, tours of the venue were happening during our private, paid time. The new coordinator was noticeably rude to some of our guests and to our family member who was working security -- who happens to be a police officer. When dinner was served, it wasn't what we had selected. Our coordinator was made aware and to this day we have not received even an apology. Communication leading up to and during the wedding was inconsistent and frustrating. Additionally, the taxes and extra fees increased the total cost enough that the venue was no longer as affordable as advertised, which felt deceptive. Spinelli's has so much potential -- the space itself is stunning -- but our experience was overshadowed by poor communication, last-minute changes, and unprofessional behavior.

They wanted to nickel and dime you for any little thing or try to add something on the total and hope that you just pay it. And I say this because it's almost impossible to get a response from anyone here. Come my wedding, like the 2 weeks before, I needed questions answered but never got a response from anyone. I called, I texted, I emailed, and if I could smoke signal I would have, and still got nothing. My mom at one point tried calling as "new potential client" option on the phone & that's when they would answer. But after awhile they stopped answering all together. I didn't even have a bunch of questions or was even a bridezilla. The only time they would reach out by txt AND email was when they needed you to pay. I mean they just came off as greedy. They even tried to charge me an extra $1K for nothing. Like actually nothing, and I eventually got it taken off but that is so suspicious. Come day of wedding they didn't bother helping at all for anything. We had to bring everything off the trucks and set my reception up. The "free coordinator" was really only helpful to rush me the entire night bc we had to be out by the hr before we are supposed to leave. So that hr was money wasted, bc every hr we stayed later was $600 an hr. But yea the coordinator just rushed us the entire night and my husband & and I barely had time to relax. I mean I know that a wedding is supposed to be stressful, not "my day" bc whoever tells you that has never gotten married, but we barely got time to relax. The icing on the cake tho was that they closed the buffet super early and then threatened us that if we didn't leave before our time was or if there was ANYTHING they had to clean up, we wouldn't get our $500 deposit back. 3/5 because the only thing I actually enjoyed was my ceremony and the little food I got to eat. We also never got an announcement to do cake cutting. Like no one got to see us cut it, very depressing.
