The mahi mahi in spite of its aesthetically pleasing sauce tasted off. Sides not impressive at all. They didn't have any diet sodas for my husband so water it is to accompany said sad dinner. The spinach artichoke dip was the only redeeming quality - and it was really good - so we will go back and order that with some Old Fashioned's but not for full on dinner.

I recently tried their ham croissant sandwich and it was really solid 8.5/10. Their bacon cheddar scone is always solid 10/10! Also tried their Maple Pecan Latte with an extra shot 9.5/10 SO good! However, their Caramel Apple Fizz was waaay too sweet for me 6/10. Overall would recommend, very cute inside with lots of merch!

If you are tired of the same old, sweet places...corporate coffee... please come give this place a try! The barista told me their favorite coffee was the campfire. I got it as an iced coffee and it is great! I am going to go home and add a little bit more sugar. My daughter got a very healthy latte something and she likes it. We tried the healthy muffin on the recommendation from the barista. It is wonderful! I love the healthy muffin more than I love the coffee. And I do love the coffee! The coffee shop is very clean and the barista's were working very fast and are very friendly.

Some things I agree with, but other product increases I consider "Corporate Greed". Anyways most people have a sweet tooth at some point of time in their life. Some more heavier than others. I use to but it faded. However I do enjoy some sweet stuff. The other day I was picking up some licorice (LOL) and noticed a candy I had never scene. It was called "Zebra Bars" . They come in a small bag individually wrapped. And the main element is "Peanut Butter". They say the Bars are their most natural product with the fewest ingredients. Homemade peanut butter from fresh roasted peanuts, sugar for sweetness, and a dash of salt for savory goodness. I bought a bag for $1.25 at a discount store. When I bought them I thought they would be hard candy like many other kinds. No, they were much softer and easier on your teeth. I gave them a 4 they could have put a bit more peanut butter in them. But they were good and I suggest if you like Peanut Butter, buy a bag.

After leaving Jones Park, I recall seeing this truck off of Timberland so I had to stop and see…read morewhat it was about. After all, it was Tuesday so you know what that means! The lady from the truck saw me park and came outside to take my order. After verifying what meats were available, I did a pair of barbacoa tacos and campechano tacos and a pollo gordita. Sadly they did not have any tripa, lengua, or carnitas available that day. Upon taking my order, it took about 7-8 minutes before I was handed a hot covered tray wrapped in a plastic bag. Upon arriving at my room, I unwrapped and observed before diving in. The tacos do smell delicious; I enjoyed the barbacoa and the campechanos; although one of the campechanos had some tough fat from the bistec mixed in. Had to spit that part out due to the chewiness. The gordita was tasty but very soft due to the exterior; I'm more used to the gordita shells being toasted or having a more firm texture to hold all the fillings together. Altogether, the total was about $9, not bad for some Mexican street eats. This is one of several trucks in the Lufkin area slinging tacos/burritos/gorditas/quesadillas/etc. I'm hoping next time I return, they'll have the other proteins (tripa, lengua, and carnitas) available for taste.
