I generally expect pain from the person massaging me too hard, but that did not happen at all with Gary. He exerted firm motions through different part of my back - it felt good. I also liked the feel of whatever product he was massaging me with - it didn't feel like lotion or oil, but something a little less greasy like a balm. When the massage starts, he gives you a good 10-15 minutes to get comfortable. At first I wasn't a fan, but my body eased into the massage so much better after getting acclimated to the massage bed. The location is within Gary's and his wife's home. Once you see units 401 and 402, the entry is between the garages on the next side of the building. There's a cute little sign that says something like "Yes, you're in the right spot" on the door. There was a good amount of parking for visitors when I went in the afternoon. The business accepts credit/debit cards too. I can't wait to come here again.

I first went in to check out the facility. I was greeted by Tracy the Spa manager, which I didn't know at the time however she could not be more accommodating kind. We discussed on the kind of treatment I needed. She pointed me into the right direction. I consequently booked an 80 minute massage. I had sage as a massage therapist. She was absolutely incredible. I really do think it was the best massage I have ever had and I literally have had them all over the world. The facility is clean and gives you access to the sports club as well. I also had a lovely facial that day. Linsay couldn't have been sweeter and pointed me in the right direction for some creams that were necessary for my skin type. I truly have never had felt so pampered in a long time. I would give the Spa 10 stars if I could I really do mean it. If you find yourself in the El Dorado Hills area and you want to pamper yourself please spa.

My group of 3 has tried to set up spa days at Asante multiple times, and it is always very difficult to schedule. Asante just does not have the ability to accommodate groups. The spa manager, Tracy, is rude and unpleasant to deal with on the phone. We kept going to Asante, because the massages and facials were always great. Our last visit was the final straw. We had two derma plane facials and one massage scheduled. Tracy had to call to change the time of our spa services because they had an esthetician leave and had to schedule one facial with a new esthetician. The facial type was NEVER mentioned during this call, only the time change. When we arrived on the day of our spa services, the esthetician was not certified to do a derma plane facial. This was a surprise to us, and when questioned the esthetician brought in Tracy, the spa manager, to help figure it out. Tracy came into the room with a very negative attitude right away. She insisted she did tell us about the facial type changing during the phone call. She was unnecessarily aggressive and rude. She offered no apologies or willingness to figure out the situation; she simply wanted to argue that we were told about the change. A different type of facial was not a huge problem; we were just surprised about the change and had never been informed. The esthetician provided great service and was apologetic over the situation. When we were ready to pay, Tracy was at the desk. She did end up giving the facial free. Again, she was not friendly, or apologetic. Her exact words were "I'm not going to make you pay for a service you didn't want," with the same aggressive tone. Tracy's approach to the situation was just bad overall. Tracy is not someone who should be the face of a high-end spa like Asante. She has really given us a negative impression of Asante.

I was greeted warmly by Shirley, the manager, who also happened to be my masseuese. The business is modern, nice decor and very clean! Shirley did an amazing job of relaxing and working out some knots. She applied hard pressure and asked if she could walk on my back? Yes, that is fine with me. She kept asking if her pressure was good and she did some good draping skills. If I am visiting the area again, I would definitely return as it was a professional and safe experience. I felt like I paid to have someone rub lotion on me and a particularly long time was spent just gently rubbing my toes. Even when I asked for more firmness or "harder" nothing really changed. Went in for a foot massage and walked out feeling completely refreshed. There isn't a description that I could find on the website but to my surprise the 1hour foot reflexology for $45 comes with a scalp, neck, arm, shoulder, massage. It was before noon when I received my service so I was also given a complimentary foot bath of my choosing. The room was quiet, lights were low, spa music was on, and the chairs are extremely comfortable. The room held about 8 bed chairs, but all nicely spaced apart. I came with shorts and shirt and no undressing was required for the foot reflexology. Still, There were towels and a small blanket placed on top of you for comfort during the service. The lady who did my service did not speak English but she was very polite and knew simple instructions. The service and experience I received was beyond what I could have imagined a foot massage was going to be. 10/10 recommend! I will be back regularly.

That's when I searched high and low and read what felt like hundreds of reviews and found Zoey's Day Spa! I called and spoke to Zoey and she scheduled Bella to remove my last lash extension set and bring my lil eyes back to life. Thank you Bella! I liked that Zoey's location has different lash extension size lengths and styles as the one I've been going to was very limited in size/style options. Upon checking out, I noticed that they have many other service offerings. Lash extensions are just one of many services! They offer massage (with cupping options), Head Spa, and dip/gel manicure. I ended up booking a couples massage with Zoey and she was flexible in accommodating my husband and I. (Couples massage coming soon) Thank you, Zoey! The larger day spa establishment is right across the chevron gas station. The other location is on the town center strip (suite 114) and is used for massages where there are 3 individual rooms.
