AMAAZINGGGGGG! That's one word to describe Dean & his incredible team. From the first meeting, lots of planning, postponing several times due to the pandemic, the final walkthrough, to our actual wedding day, Dean has been so amazing. He's very detail oriented, easy going, always there for any question any time of the day--may it be 2 in the morning--you will get an answer ASAP. He's just that great! He makes sure all your questions, needs and requests are attended to. He offers great vendor recommendations and ideas in general that will look great for the wedding. He even gives an honest opinion. I for sure appreciate that! I don't know about you guys reading this post, but having a detail-oriented, approachable, and creative wedding coordinator is the way to go! There was a limo (time constraint) problem before the ceremony, but he and his team did a super awesome job in looking for a plan B. Everything worked out perfectly during the best day of our lives. And this is all thanks to Dean & his team for being so efficient, detail-oriented, accommodating, honest, helpful, easy going, and fun to be with. So thank you so much Dean & team! Shoutout to Tina, Janae and the rest of the girls that helped us have the best day of our lives! They are the best! We'd love to get married again and have them as our coordinator team LOL. That's just how amazingggggg they are! read more

Where do I even begin? Dean Bernard events and his team seriously gave me the wedding of my dreams. I was able to work very closely with Dean. Not only did he handle my demanding requests so graciously, but he made everything happen the way it was supposed to. When I say demanding requests, I mean short-notice changes to the biggest details of the event such as date, time, and increasing my guest list by 70 people. He took care of minor details I wasn't even thinking of that we're pretty important towards the perfect day. His timelines were exactly what I needed. I'm not much of an organized person, so Dean definitely helped made things easier for me. He was able to find me an all-inclusive venue that fit perfectly in our budget. He never pressured me to make any decision. He was there every step of the way helping me. He made suggestions that made the day go smoothly and efficiently. Dean's team were extremely helpful the day of. They picked the desserts I needed, helped set up our venue, went into our hotel room to pick up some stuff I left that were needed for the ceremony, handed out programs, guided people to their seats, coordinated our guest sign in, and even got us drinks during the reception. You'd think you can do this all by yourself, but if you truly want to enjoy your reception, do yourself a favor and hire Dean Bearnard Events. I promise you won't regret! The entire day goes by so fast and you want to make sure that you enjoy every second not worrying about all the details. One of the best decisions I made through the planning process. If Yelp offered a million stars for a review, it still wouldn't be enough to show you guys how amazing Dean and his team really are. I'm a psych nurse who works over 40 hours a week and was in panic due to the little time I had to plan for my wedding. I met Dean through a friend who recommended him to me. At first I was sketched being one of his first few weddings and considering how young he looks. But it just goes to show how looks can be so deceiving because he was professional with my husband and I from beginning to end as if he was in this industry for years! I was with Dean on my wedding journey for a straight year and I seriously don't know how I could have done it without him. He was not only there to plan for my beautiful wedding but he went above and beyond for my wedding shower as well. I swear you can give this guy 3 ideas or show him your Pinterest and he'll take that idea and run with it over exceeding your expectations! My wedding/shower was more than I ever imagined it to be. I was thinking low key and simple, Dean and his team took it to a whole new level! His perfectionist and OCD tendencies are the ones a bride would want for her wedding/shower. He's very detail oriented, organized, punctual, and finds the best deals and bargains for you. He was also probably the only one that calmed my nerves through out my planning because when he says "don't worry I'll handle it" (which was 90% of the time in my case) he definitely handled it! During the wedding I can't tell you enough how grateful I am for his team. He rolls deep to make every moment of your wedding perfect and have every one of your needs met. His team are young professionals who gets the job done and cater to you and your guest's every need. They are very respectful, organized, on time and diligent in their line of work. Trust me, if they can handle 200 of my guests they can handle ANY!! To all the brides or grooms reading this...trust me when I say, he's the one. read more

I couldn't have better things to say about working with Dean and his team. This was by far the best investment from my wedding. Throughout the whole planning process, Dean was attentive, incredibly organized, flexible and such a wonderful person. Dean helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up the the wedding. Dean is very professional and manages very well under pressure. A couple days before my wedding, the ceremony had to be moved from outside to inside due to the rain. This was handled in a calm manner with very little disruption to original plans. He has the ability to shoulder all the stress without showing it all. Also, he did a great job with our timeline and communicating with all the vendors. Dean made sure that I was stress free and completely happy on my big day. My wedding turned out perfect!! My husband and I ended up with a new friend. I would highly recommend Dean Bernard Events. They will be a great asset for any wedding!!! read more

Dean and his team are the BEST!!! I was getting overwhelmed planning my daughter's 1st birthday and baptism and was referred to Dean. From our initial conversation, I knew he was the PERFECT person. He has a great personality, very energetic and just so much fun to work with. Dean is full of creative ideas, quick on his feet to improvise and most importantly goes above and beyond to bring your imagination to reality. Dean and his team even stayed after to make sure everything was okay and settled. We definitely could not have done it without Dean and his team! read more

Once again, Dean and his team did an amazing job with planning my son's 1st bday!! Just some background information, Dean was my wedding planner and me and my husband were his first clients. We have seen him grow and thrive in his business. I am so happy of the entrepreneur that he has become. Throughout the planning of my son's bday, he always communicated with me if there were any concerns that he had and vice versa- easy to talk to. My son's bday was a success because of him :) Thank you Dean!!! read more

I am recently married (as of 1/15/17) and I have to say thanks to Dean and his team because they made the wedding of my dreams come true. From all the preparation that took place throughout the year, to comforting me the night before the wedding because of family drama, they were ready for it all. Just like anything some unplanned circumstances occurred the day of (i.e. I forgot my garter at our hotel room) and the Dean Bernard Events team found a solution to it all (went to our hotel room to find it). I have heard so many horror stories about brides and grooms (but more specifically brides) having the worst time because of the amount of stress they experienced, along with the lack of coordination and organization. However, they made sure that all my groom and I had to worry about was partying too hard. I am so grateful that I had this phenomenal team for such an important day because it was sincerely the best day of my life. read more

Karlo and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Dean Bernard Events for our Wedding on May 22, 2016. Dean and his team were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. They went above and beyond the call of duty. From the beginning, Dean provide options and really listened to what we wanted and needed. We never felt rushed into a decision, Dean made us feel like family and someone you can count on. We opted for the "Day of Coordinator", and we still received a full month's help to make sure things went smoothly. Dean Bernard Events, also provided support coordinating the wedding rehearsal. Dean made sure to keep us on schedule during the month of May, following up periodically to make sure we were on track with the details of the wedding. If we had any questions, Dean was only a phone call away. On the day of the event, both the Karlo and I were assigned a helper we could depend on. If we had any issues or questions, they'd do their best to make sure it was communicated throughout their whole team to ensure proper resolution. For example, one of the things we didn't quite think about, was placement of our giveaways, programs, and dinner menus. We brought it up to Dean, and had him decide the best layout. That evening, we had many compliments with how the tables and decorations were organized. My mother made sure to mention how beautiful we presented the giveaways, programs, and dinner menus. Of course I told her it was all Dean Bernard Events who made the creative choice. I have to give credit to where credit is due. Even at the end, Dean Bernard Events made sure to bring our important items back to the room all accounted for. Our wedding day was SPECIAL, and we were able to ENJOY every moment! Dean and his team has made my dream wedding come true! We were fortunate to have Dean as our Day-Of Coordinator for our Fall wedding. He was very professional, organized and genuinely cares about his clients. We met a few times before the wedding and he made sure that the vendors, his team, and us, the bride & the groom were on the same page. All of the preparation ahead of time made me feel confident that everything would run smoothly on the big day... and it sure did! I would say that I'm not a creative person, nor I really know much about wedding style/planning, but Dean was very patient and offered a lot of advice and suggestions that helped make our wedding beautiful, fun and unique to us. On the big day, his team was very accommodating and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Chelsea was so sweet and was always there to answer any questions, as well as made sure that I was happy and worry-free. We danced the night away and had the time of our lives! I would highly recommend! read more

Dean Bernard Events is a MUST HIRE!!! I run a wedding DJ and lighting production company with 1000+ events, and over 25 years or experience in the industry. I am happy to say that we had a very positive and excellent work experience with Dean and his amazing team, at a huge wedding event back in March of this year. This was not just during the night of, but especially the weeks and days leading up to the event. He came very prepared that day, with I believe a staff of 6 very nice members of his team. Each of them were very approachable and made sure to check in with each vendor to discuss logistics as they arrived. He and his team were very professional from start to finish and were all on walkie talkies, to stay in constant communication and keep the flow of the event on time. The timeline ran smoothly and I believe it even was ahead of schedule, which is not always the case with other coordinators. Dean was very cool, calm and collected the entire time, and did not panic when issue arose throughout the night. He made quick and sound decisions and those minor issues, went unnoticed. Dean was very good at being the liason between all of the vendors, the hotel/banquet staff, and the clients. At my previous events, my team would have to fill in on areas where the wedding coordinator was supposed to handle - examples would be preparing the parents for the parents dances, having champagne ready for the cake cutting, and most importantly having the photographer and/or videographer ready and in the room when the next program item in the timeline came up; Dean and his team had that covered and gave us ample notice when the next item on the list was approaching. I could go on and on, but all you need to do is meet with Dean once and it will validate everything that I wrote in this review. Dean Bernard Events will always come highly recommended from me and my team!!! Dennis de Castro Formal Events Manager AUDIO FX PRODUCTIONS read more

Dean Bernard Events and our company, Shuttered Light Photography & Video, worked together last weekend in Hyatt Regency in Long Beach for Karlo and Nikki's wedding. Dean is very professional to work with and has been communicating with me weeks before the wedding. He made sure that the timeline works for not just the couple but with all the vendors as well. He always update everybody via email. On the wedding day, my team and I arrived early to set-up our photobooth and finally met Dean in person. He's very helpful making sure we are taken care of. I love that my team and Dean's team agreed to have the same channel to use with our 2-way radios so at least everybody is synced on what's happening. It's been a pleasure working with Dean and his awesome team. Thank you and looking forward working with you again soon. read more

Dean and his team were amazing to work with! Dean was my full-time wedding planner (from start to finish). Not only did he execute every detail perfectly (which was clearly showcased by how gorgeous how wedding was), but he also brought his creative, entrepreneurial spirit to the table too. I had a vision in mind, and he took the style, motif and brought it to the next level. He had so many creative and unique ideas & is so well-versed in this industry, so I felt like our wedding not only reflected what my husband and I envisioned, but it also felt one-of-a-kind and had special, unique touches throughout. I would have never thought of the ideas that he had, so I'm glad he was able to also provide that. Another thing is that so many of our guests complimented us on how "perfect" and magical our wedding was--one of the best they've ever been to, down to the every last detail. I know definitely that is because we had such a top-notch wedding coordination team Besides his work, personally working with him was such a pleasure & breath of fresh air--he's detail-oriented, organized, fun, funny, down-to-earth, and very professional. You will not regret working with Dean & his team. read more

As a florist, it is such a great help when the bride and groom has an event planner/coordinator ( whether for months prior or on the day of ). Such is the case with Arianne and Kris' wedding. I met Dean of Dean Bernard Events in one of my early meetings with Arianne, discussed floral pieces, color schemes, etc. He was very friendly and professional from day 1. Communicating with him, either phone call or text was very easy. If he didn't have the answer to any of my questions, he'd find out and get back to me right away. He made sure everything was beautiful for Arianne and Kris. Dean and his team, made it easy for us, vendors, with the timeline he created for us. Everything was organized, and even until that evening when it was time for me to pick up some rentals, he and his staff had gathered them together in a room for me, he sent me a text to let me know they were ready for pick up. I would recommend Dean to my future brides/clients in a heartbeat! He is just awesome to work with. He and his staff did an awesome job, and I know Arianne and Kris would agree! read more

It's almost a month today when my husband and I got married in California, we are based in Melbourne Australia and Dean was recommended by a friend. We definitely needed someone to help us organize our destination wedding. Dean was so amazing with helping us plan our wedding day. He was so easy to talk to, he respected my input, he made sure all vendors are updated, he answered my queries right away and helped a lot to relieve the stress of the wedding planning process. We had Dean as our wedding planner and he did an amazing job. I believe it was his first time planning a wedding, which made us skeptical at first. However, we were refered to him by a good friend of ours, and he had experience planning other events such as debut parties. We decided to go with him and we are very glad that we did. Without Dean, our wedding would not have been as remarkable nor as memorable as it was. Dean has a passion for what he does. This is not just a job to him and he puts in a lot of effort into his planning. He has a great personality and has many great ideas of his own. We incorporated several of his styles/designs and took his suggestions into consideration. Dean was also great at researching vendors and finding ways to save money where possible. Dean always took the initiative when meeting with us and with the vendors. His commnication was excellent; never did we have to contact him to make sure things were going as planned. He would be the one contacting "us", making sure "we" were on track. When we did have to contact him, it was to notify him of changes and its effect on the schedule. His uncanny ability to adapt to changes is astounding; both before and during the wedding. The actual event did not go exactly as planned (weddings never do) and Dean and his team adjusted to the changes. Numerous things went wrong before the ceremony. A good example are the broken boutonnieres for the groomsmen; the flower buds kept falling off from the stem. Luckily, Dean had a "wedding kit" that had superglue and glued them back on. This shows Dean's aptitude on being prepared for anything. We highly recommend Dean to plan any event in general, not just weddings. It was a pleasure to work with him and we would not hesitate to use him again for another event. read more

Where do I begin? I only had 2 1/2 months to plan my wedding. I called Dean one night after finding him on yelp and he returned my call right away. I asked him a few questions and 5 minutes into our conversation I knew he was the wedding coordinator that would help me with all my wedding details. When I met him in person, my thoughts and ideas were all over the place. He helped me organize and prioritize! He helped me feel secure. When I felt like things were not going as planned I would call Dean and he would come up with plan B/C/D/E... I loved it! Dean also made sure all of my vendors were on the same page. I really loved the communication. Days before my wedding he started putting things into place for me and I was so excited that all the little details I wanted were included. He attended my ceremony rehearsal and his team got to know me (bridezilla), my husband (the cool groom), and our wedding party (the hard headed arrive late people). To be honest, that night, I was a little unsure of how they were going to be able to handle all of us on the day of the wedding. With only 2 days to go before the big day, I had been experiencing a week of sleepless nights and anxiety. Not to mention I had become very emotional, hot tempered, uneasy, sensitive, and nonnegotiable. Bridezilla was an understatement. I let Dean know that the Hulk was going to come out the day of the wedding and to be prepared... OMG! And he was!!!!!! So was his team! It was crazy amazing! They were crazy amazing!, very patient, compassionate, caring, and made me feel like I was a princess! They catered to my every need and more. Dean always kept his composure despite the challenges. Theresa and Tina always had a smile on their face every time I saw them. My MOH and bridesmaids were very impressed. My groom was also so thankful for Dean and his team. Theresa and Tina were uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhMAZING!!!! I don't know what I would have done without them. I had an anxiety attack in the middle of the reception and had to lie down in the back room. My mother even came in and asked me to take Xanax but I refused as Dean, Tina, and THERESA kept me in one piece. They have provided me services that I believe money cannot buy. And I am forever grateful for them. Not only were they able to take care of me they made sure they knew where EVERYTHING was (and I mean everything). They made sure no detail that I wanted was missed. And they cleaned up and I still call Dean to this day asking him if he knows where things of mine are.. He's just too sweet! If you are looking for a coordinator and a team that will give your event the perfect execution, go with Dean Bernard! He gave me and my husband the wedding of our dreams!!!!! Five stars++++++ for Dean and his team! Dean and his team helped me plan my boyfriend's going away party and it was a hit. I threw out some suggestions on what I wanted and Dean made it happen. From decorations to food to lighting situations and also the bar, everything came together. The party was a Dapper theme. The main dining table had an elegant display of large light bulbs with dark pink flower stems drooping down. The seats, table, and centerpieces came together. The bar area had a sign, which Dean made and wrote himself, buckets filled with water bottles, various types of whiskey, and chasers. It was a plus that a friend decided to become a bartender and an accidental bucket left him with plenty of cash monaaaaay! That's just a snippet of what Dean Bernard had for an outstanding party. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful and amazing Dean and his team are. My husband and I recently got married last weekend, and everything went PERFECTLY thanks to their relentless efforts to make sure everything went smoothly and according to what we wanted/planned. We almost decided not to hire anyone and do it on our own, but that would have been the biggest mistake of our lives, and I'm so glad we decided to have Dean take the lead. Dean was even kind of enough to stay longer than what we had anticipated him for, just because he genuinely cared that our reception was perfect from beginning to end. We actually got to enjoy every minute of our wedding and even though there were some potential uh-oh's (none of which were their fault), they never bothered us with any issues, made sure our reception stayed on schedule, and triple checked with every vendor to ensure consistency. I am also an event planner for a corporate company, so I know how tough it is to be in the background doing all of the running around and servicing - but they truly made the process easy and wonderful. From an events planner perspective, I can honestly say Dean does phenomenal work and am truly impressed by how well he communicates with us, how flexible he is with last minute requests, and how well his team executes everything. If you're engaged, do yourself a FAVOR and hire Dean Bernard Events! read more

On the day of the wedding, he and his staff were calm, collected, organized, a real pleasure to work with. His attention to detail and staying a step ahead made for a smooth, fun and successful event. He is genuine and has a wonderful demeanor that really shines through and lets people know that they are in good hands.
