AMAAZINGGGGGG! That's one word to describe Dean & his incredible team. From the first meeting, lots of planning, postponing several times due to the pandemic, the final walkthrough, to our actual wedding day, Dean has been so amazing. He's very detail oriented, easy going, always there for any question any time of the day--may it be 2 in the morning--you will get an answer ASAP. He's just that great! He makes sure all your questions, needs and requests are attended to. He offers great vendor recommendations and ideas in general that will look great for the wedding. He even gives an honest opinion. I for sure appreciate that! Where do I even begin? Dean Bernard events and his team seriously gave me the wedding of my dreams. I was able to work very closely with Dean. Not only did he handle my demanding requests so graciously, but he made everything happen the way it was supposed to. When I say demanding requests, I mean short-notice changes to the biggest details of the event such as date, time, and increasing my guest list by 70 people. He took care of minor details I wasn't even thinking of that we're pretty important towards the perfect day. His timelines were exactly what I needed. I'm not much of an organized person, so Dean definitely helped made things easier for me. He was able to find me an all-inclusive venue that fit perfectly in our budget. He never pressured me to make any decision. He was there every step of the way helping me. He made suggestions that made the day go smoothly and efficiently. If Yelp offered a million stars for a review, it still wouldn't be enough to show you guys how amazing Dean and his team really are. I'm a psych nurse who works over 40 hours a week and was in panic due to the little time I had to plan for my wedding. I met Dean through a friend who recommended him to me. I couldn't have better things to say about working with Dean and his team. This was by far the best investment from my wedding. Throughout the whole planning process, Dean was attentive, incredibly organized, flexible and such a wonderful person. Dean helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up the the wedding. Dean is very professional and manages very well under pressure. A couple days before my wedding, the ceremony had to be moved from outside to inside due to the rain. I am recently married (as of 1/15/17) and I have to say thanks to Dean and his team because they made the wedding of my dreams come true. Dean and his team were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. They went above and beyond the call of duty. From the beginning, Dean provide options and really listened to what we wanted and needed. We never felt rushed into a decision, Dean made us feel like family and someone you can count on. We opted for the "Day of Coordinator", and we still received a full month's help to make sure things went smoothly. Dean Bernard Events, also provided support coordinating the wedding rehearsal. Dean made sure to keep us on schedule during the month of May, following up periodically to make sure we were on track with the details of the wedding. If we had any questions, Dean was only a phone call away. On the day of the event, both the Karlo and I were assigned a helper we could depend on. If we had any issues or questions, they'd do their best to make sure it was communicated throughout their whole team to ensure proper resolution. Dean Bernard Events and our company, Shuttered Light Photography & Video, worked together last weekend in Hyatt Regency in Long Beach for Karlo and Nikki's wedding. Dean Bernard Events is a MUST HIRE!!! I run a wedding DJ and lighting production company with 1000+ events, and over 25 years or experience in the industry. I am happy to say that we had a very positive and excellent work experience with Dean and his amazing team, at a huge wedding event back in March of this year. This was not just during the night of, but especially the weeks and days leading up to the event. He came very prepared that day, with I believe a staff of 6 very nice members of his team. Each of them were very approachable and made sure to check in with each vendor to discuss logistics as they arrived. He and his team were very professional from start to finish and were all on walkie talkies, to stay in constant communication and keep the flow of the event on time. The timeline ran smoothly and I believe it even was ahead of schedule, which is not always the case with other coordinators. Dean was very cool, calm and collected the entire time, and did not panic when issue arose throughout the night. He made quick and sound decisions and those minor issues, went unnoticed. Dean was very good at being the liason between all of the vendors, the hotel/banquet staff, and the clients. At my previous events, my team would have to fill in on areas where the wedding coordinator was supposed to handle - examples would be preparing the parents for the parents dances, having champagne ready for the cake cutting, and most importantly having the photographer and/or videographer ready and in the room when the next program item in the timeline came up; Dean and his team had that covered and gave us ample notice when the next item on the list was approaching. As a florist, it is such a great help when the bride and groom has an event planner/coordinator ( whether for months prior or on the day of ). Such is the case with Arianne and Kris' wedding. I met Dean of Dean Bernard Events in one of my early meetings with Arianne, discussed floral pieces, color schemes, etc. He was very friendly and professional from day 1. Communicating with him, either phone call or text was very easy. If he didn't have the answer to any of my questions, he'd find out and get back to me right away. We had Dean as our wedding planner and he did an amazing job. I believe it was his first time planning a wedding, which made us skeptical at first. However, we were refered to him by a good friend of ours, and he had experience planning other events such as debut parties. We decided to go with him and we are very glad that we did. Without Dean, our wedding would not have been as remarkable nor as memorable as it was. Dean has a passion for what he does. This is not just a job to him and he puts in a lot of effort into his planning. He has a great personality and has many great ideas of his own. We incorporated several of his styles/designs and took his suggestions into consideration. Dean was also great at researching vendors and finding ways to save money where possible. Dean always took the initiative when meeting with us and with the vendors. His commnication was excellent; never did we have to contact him to make sure things were going as planned. He would be the one contacting "us", making sure "we" were on track. When we did have to contact him, it was to notify him of changes and its effect on the schedule. His uncanny ability to adapt to changes is astounding; both before and during the wedding. The actual event did not go exactly as planned (weddings never do) and Dean and his team adjusted to the changes. Numerous things went wrong before the ceremony. A good example are the broken boutonnieres for the groomsmen; the flower buds kept falling off from the stem. Luckily, Dean had a "wedding kit" that had superglue and glued them back on. This shows Dean's aptitude on being prepared for anything. We highly recommend Dean to plan any event in general, not just weddings. Where do I begin? I only had 2 1/2 months to plan my wedding. I called Dean one night after finding him on yelp and he returned my call right away. I asked him a few questions and 5 minutes into our conversation I knew he was the wedding coordinator that would help me with all my wedding details. I let Dean know that the Hulk was going to come out the day of the wedding and to be prepared... OMG! And he was!!!!!! So was his team! It was crazy amazing! They were crazy amazing!, very patient, compassionate, caring, and made me feel like I was a princess! They catered to my every need and more. Dean always kept his composure despite the challenges. Theresa and Tina always had a smile on their face every time I saw them. My MOH and bridesmaids were very impressed. My groom was also so thankful for Dean and his team. Five stars++++++ for Dean and his team! Dean and his team helped me plan my boyfriend's going away party and it was a hit. I threw out some suggestions on what I wanted and Dean made it happen. From decorations to food to lighting situations and also the bar, everything came together. The party was a Dapper theme. The main dining table had an elegant display of large light bulbs with dark pink flower stems drooping down. The seats, table, and centerpieces came together. The bar area had a sign, which Dean made and wrote himself, buckets filled with water bottles, various types of whiskey, and chasers. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful and amazing Dean and his team are. My husband and I recently got married last weekend, and everything went PERFECTLY thanks to their relentless efforts to make sure everything went smoothly and according to what we wanted/planned.
