    Where do I even begin? Dean Bernard events and his team seriously gave me the wedding of my dreams. I was able to work very closely with Dean. Not only did he handle my demanding requests so graciously, but he made everything happen the way it was supposed to. When I say demanding requests, I mean short-notice changes to the biggest details of the event such as date, time, and increasing my guest list by 70 people. He took care of minor details I wasn't even thinking of that we're pretty important towards the perfect day. His timelines were exactly what I needed. I'm not much of an organized person, so Dean definitely helped made things easier for me. He was able to find me an all-inclusive venue that fit perfectly in our budget. He never pressured me to make any decision. He was there every step of the way helping me. He made suggestions that made the day go smoothly and efficiently. Dean's team were extremely helpful the day of. They picked the desserts I needed, helped set up our venue, went into our hotel room to pick up some stuff I left that were needed for the ceremony, handed out programs, guided people to their seats, coordinated our guest sign in, and even got us drinks during the reception. You'd think you can do this all by yourself, but if you truly want to enjoy your reception, do yourself a favor and hire Dean Bearnard Events. I promise you won't regret! The entire day goes by so fast and you want to make sure that you enjoy every second not worrying about all the details. One of the best decisions I made through the planning process.     If Yelp offered a million stars for a review, it still wouldn't be enough to show you guys how amazing Dean and his team really are. I'm a psych nurse who works over 40 hours a week and was in panic due to the little time I had to plan for my wedding. I met Dean through a friend who recommended him to me. At first I was sketched being one of his first few weddings and considering how young he looks. But it just goes to show how looks can be so deceiving because he was professional with my husband and I from beginning to end as if he was in this industry for years! I was with Dean on my wedding journey for a straight year and I seriously don't know how I could have done it without him. He was not only there to plan for my beautiful wedding but he went above and beyond for my wedding shower as well. I swear you can give this guy 3 ideas or show him your Pinterest and he'll take that idea and run with it over exceeding your expectations! My wedding/shower was more than I ever imagined it to be. I was thinking low key and simple, Dean and his team took it to a whole new level! His perfectionist and OCD tendencies are the ones a bride would want for her wedding/shower. He's very detail oriented, organized, punctual, and finds the best deals and bargains for you. He was also probably the only one that calmed my nerves through out my planning because when he says "don't worry I'll handle it" (which was 90% of the time in my case) he definitely handled it! During the wedding I can't tell you enough how grateful I am for his team. He rolls deep to make every moment of your wedding perfect and have every one of your needs met. His team are young professionals who gets the job done and cater to you and your guest's every need. They are very respectful, organized, on time and diligent in their line of work. Trust me, if they can handle 200 of my guests they can handle ANY!! To all the brides or grooms reading this...trust me when I say, he's the one.

    I am recently married (as of 1/15/17) and I have to say thanks to Dean and his team because they made the wedding of my dreams come true. From all the preparation that took place throughout the year, to comforting me the night before the wedding because of family drama, they were ready for it all. Just like anything some unplanned circumstances occurred the day of (i.e. I forgot my garter at our hotel room) and the Dean Bernard Events team found a solution to it all (went to our hotel room to find it). I have heard so many horror stories about brides and grooms (but more specifically brides) having the worst time because of the amount of stress they experienced, along with the lack of coordination and organization. However, they made sure that all my groom and I had to worry about was partying too hard. I am so grateful that I had this phenomenal team for such an important day because it was sincerely the best day of my life.

    Dean and his team are the BEST!!! I was getting overwhelmed planning my daughter's 1st birthday and baptism and was referred to Dean. From our initial conversation, I knew he was the PERFECT person. He has a great personality, very energetic and just so much fun to work with. Dean is full of creative ideas, quick on his feet to improvise and most importantly goes above and beyond to bring your imagination to reality.     Karlo and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Dean Bernard Events for our Wedding on May 22, 2016. Dean and his team were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. They went above and beyond the call of duty. From the beginning, Dean provide options and really listened to what we wanted and needed. We never felt rushed into a decision, Dean made us feel like family and someone you can count on. We opted for the "Day of Coordinator", and we still received a full month's help to make sure things went smoothly. Dean Bernard Events, also provided support coordinating the wedding rehearsal. Dean made sure to keep us on schedule during the month of May, following up periodically to make sure we were on track with the details of the wedding. If we had any questions, Dean was only a phone call away. On the day of the event, both the Karlo and I were assigned a helper we could depend on. If we had any issues or questions, they'd do their best to make sure it was communicated throughout their whole team to ensure proper resolution. For example, one of the things we didn't quite think about, was placement of our giveaways, programs, and dinner menus. We brought it up to Dean, and had him decide the best layout. That evening, we had many compliments with how the tables and decorations were organized. My mother made sure to mention how beautiful we presented the giveaways, programs, and dinner menus. Of course I told her it was all Dean Bernard Events who made the creative choice. I have to give credit to where credit is due. Even at the end, Dean Bernard Events made sure to bring our important items back to the room all accounted for. Our wedding day was SPECIAL, and we were able to ENJOY every moment!     I usually don't write reviews on Yelp but this review was well-deserved. Dean is an AMAZING coordinator and his team was wonderful!!! My husband and I highly recommend Dean and his crew for any event. They coordinated our wedding this past weekend and everything was above and beyond from what we expected. Our dream wedding came true because of Dean Bernard Events. They are so professional and on point with everything that our wedding day went so smoothly On top of that, we received so many compliments from our guests that Dean and his team did a great job! everyone was so impressed :D if we could, we would give Dean Bernard Events 10 Stars on Yelp!! we are so happy and thankful to have them on our big day and we will definitely have them again for future events!

While there, we stumbled into the ball room where we stood in awe at what was at the time, one of the most beautiful wedding designs I had ever seen. My mother and I promptly asked the first person we saw who was designing this wedding and got a card for a "Natalie Good". I pocketed the card and thought- one day! Fast forward 5 years I had met Matt(my now husband) and we were moving into together. I was cleaning my room at my parents house and came across Natalie's card and put it in my purse. 3 months later, Matt proposed on a Saturday and the following Monday I called Natalie and booked her. First and foremost, Natalie is an angel on this planet. Wedding planning is so stressful and I never had to worry about a single thing, she went above and beyond to make sure I was not stressed and happy. She is more than just our wedding planner and over the 3 years we planned my wedding (thanks covid...), she became my friend and someone who I adore Second, when going down this road, I think trusting your planner/wedding team is extremely important to make sure the process is seamless and smooth. I can tell you that without a doubt, I trust Natalie and her team implicitly! I trusted them so much that I let them run free on the design for my wedding and I could not have been happier! Everything was perfect and so gorgeous- from the table design to the flowers, everything was flawless and it was so amazing to watch her vision come to life. It's been 3 months and I am still getting calls and compliments from all of our guests and even friends of guests who weren't there but saw pictures. She is insanely talented and has an unbelievable list of vendors that are just as talented. We even had a silent disco at our wedding and it was a hit! Third, her team is awesome. The women who helped me specifically- Ellie, Kennedy, and Maddy- where next level professional and so helpful. There were nights where I would be up at midnight and text Ellie and she would always answer and talk me down. Kennedy and Maddy were running around on wedding day making sure I was hydrated and fed and happy. Everything about A Good Affair is top notch and I could not be more grateful or fortunate to have had them design, plan and make our dream wedding a reality. What I can say is, they don't really go straight to the point and communicate back n forth in email when you had requested 3 times to call you to talk it out. I mean, if off the bat you're having a hard time conveying your plans, pricing with me then its not worth my time. They reply back quick, which I appreciate but them going around in circles is annoying. Also, if you're looking for budget, this is NOT the place for budget. She knew my budget, yet continued to ask questions through email. Finally, she gives me the quote of $10-$15k for a wedding next year (saying pricing will go up next year) and if its something i am still interested in. Wow, knowing where my budget is, which was less than $3k, and you know your asking is triple that, is so unprofessional. This is not accommodating to new clients or at all helpful. If you plan to have a wedding with a $10-$15k budget in mind then this might be your type of vendor but if you're asking for really minimal details for $3k, and they don't just say "sorry our services are over your budget" then they don't care or respect your needs. These days, customer service should be catered to what you can provide for the client. If you can't make it work, then just simply let the client know. Do not waste their time with back n forth email. Some of us don't understand what you're saying in email and a clearer communication shows you care enough to explain it.

From being always available, to providing suggestions and insight into timeline, and coordinating everything so well the day of, their team is simply the best. I admire their passion for planning and it was so incredible working with them. I worked with Paola and Sandra directly and Sandra was there day of. Paola and Sandra are very experienced, professional, and kind. Both were actively involved in the planning process. I'm extremely type A and it's hard for me to trust people to take over (especially when I knew it was one of the most important days in my life) and take on tasks, but I trusted them 100%. To start off, they have a lot of experience working at Terannea, which made things a lot easier for us and helped things run smoothly. Moreover, the vendors I selected knew of Paola and Sandra and their team and I admired their good reputation in the wedding industry. Knowing what I know now, it would have been easier for me to have hired them as full on planning instead of day of coordination just because they're so good at what they do that I really trust every decision they make. I keep getting comments from my family and friends that the wedding was one of the best they've been to. Moreover I've received many comments specifically from my bridal party and close family about the incredible planning team keeping the day so smooth and on track.     We had a vision for our wedding, and wanted something we felt would be meaningful and represent us…read moreand our lives, but also were on a very tight budget. With our venues in mind (our local public park for the ceremony, a patio at our HOA's community center for the reception, and an after party at our home) and only 6 months until our selected wedding date, we went to Leilani Social to ask if they could help us make it happen. Kim was assigned as our coordinator, and took the challenge in stride. Another team member worked with us and Kim as a designer, and soon they helped us develop a cohesive vision and start thinking about the logistics, securing vendors, and making the many dozens of small but critical decisions to make our wedding day feel like us. Kim met with us many times leading up to the wedding date, coordinated all of the vendor communications by email, and always made time to address our questions and concerns--no detail was too small. She helped coach us through selecting rentals and the minute-by-minute plan for the day, and when we needed to pivot last minute to doing DIY flowers to save money, she supported us through that, too! This review would end up the length of a novel if I tried to cover everything, but just to give a couple examples: Kim helped us design custom drink menus for our reception, found alternatives for glassware and decor when we found out we couldn't have glass or open flame at our venue, and made sure we got a refund from our rental company for the few small items that were missing (which we of course, never even knew about because the Leilani Squad just handled it!). The day before the wedding, Kim met with us and our bridal party to run an efficient and helpful rehearsal, exuding competence and kindness while making sure everyone was ready for the next day. On the wedding day, four amazing Leilani Social team members were present to make it all happen. My day as bride started with a sound bath hosted by one of Leilani's wellness vendors (the wonderful Stephanie with Soul Sounds Alchemy) for myself and my bridesmaids. To be completely honest, I was a bit skeptical at first (especially since it meant we'd have to start our day earlier) but it ended up being so lovely and grounding (thank you, Danielle and Stephanie!). My "lady-in-waiting," Lulu, was amazing, and she spent the whole morning with us, keeping us on track time-wise and helping with all of the little things that came up, like steaming the skirt of my dress. Kim worked tirelessly to transform our blank canvas venues into the magical settings we had envisioned together for ceremony and reception. Arriving at the spaces and seeing our vision realized was an amazing experience. But as bride and groom, our hope was to truly be in the moment and enjoy the day, and Kim, Danielle, and the rest of the Leilani Squad made that possible. They took care of everything, arranging our many DIY elements, receiving each of our many vendors, making sure our guests got from one place to another, and responding to the inevitable hiccups so that the two of us could just enjoy each other, our guests, and our beautiful celebration. As a note, Kim was the last to leave the reception site hours after we did, making sure everything was in top shape and transporting extra drinks and supplies to our nearby home for the after party. She was a champion, and went above and beyond for us. It was truly the best day of our lives, and truly wouldn't have been possible without Kim and the Leilani Squad. We had multiple vendor meetings together in person despite being in a pandemic and she always brought her a-game to those. We never knew what questions to ask the vendors, but honestly, we didn't have to! Cortney literally runs the show and gets all the hard talking done so you don't have to. My parents, my bridesmaids, and even guests of the wedding kept commenting on how efficient she was at addressing and fixing all the little things that naturally happen during the day of the wedding. For example, the evening before our wedding rehearsal she asked me if I had a coat for the next day since it was going to be chilly. I told her I hadn't and literally right after the rehearsal, I received text messages from her at the mall with pictures of coats that she thought would look good with my dress. She really went above and beyond for us because at her core you can tell she really cares. She and her team will always hold a special place in our heart and we can't thank her enough for helping make our wedding as beautiful as it was seamless. Seriously a perfect day.
