Hours are great as well 8am-10pm an on holidays there always open if you need last minute items. They accept coupons as well as in there circular they give coupons if you spending over $25 you can save $5 not bad.

I asked, "So if it fails on day 11, that's okay?" but received no satisfactory answer. They also insisted, "This is a cheap store - items could break like that," and declared the item non‑refundable, refusing even a store credit. I expressed my disappointment, but was told there was nothing they could do. I stand by their 14‑day return policy and feel this was a clear case of a defective product - one not designed to last - not a matter of changing my mind. Getting no refund or credit after just one day of use is unacceptable. I won't be using their services again, and caution others to think twice before purchasing from this store.

Found a cute shirt and a nice dress for travel in the sale section at Banana Republic. Got some bathing suits at a store that was going out of business. After shopping, pay your respects at the Staten Island September 11th Memorial. Postcards honors and remembers the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. Look through the wings of the giant sculpture. It frames Ground Zero. Never forget.

Literal thieves. I…read moretook a simple gold chain to them for repair. It was purchased from GLDN and was 24" long. They confirmed it was real gold and said it would be $30 to repair gold. I agreed and picked it up a few days later and paid. I received back a chain with the same clasp, but the links seemed slightly different, and the chain now measured 28" long. I was suspicious, and took it back a few weeks later, but didn't say anything, just asked about getting it shortened. The guy behind the counter looked at it, tested it with a little block that he rubbed it on and some testing solution, and told me it was fake and they can't repair or adjust anything made with fake gold. At that point, I told him that he had just repaired it recently and told me it was real gold at that time. He got uncomfortable/shifty and then said that it would be $15 to fix. There are a couple of reviews on other sites that also accuse them of swapping out stones when doing repairs. I'm planning on filing a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs.

As the years have gone by, they have become just like the "big pharmacies." Too much tomfoolery going on and confusion and pushing me to get my refills before I need them. I know when to get my medications. The one good thing about this pharmacy is that the young man who used to deliver was very friendly. I liked him. I asked them to not harass me and show up to my home with medications without prior knowledge. Who does that? Rosebank Pharmacy does that. Speaking with the ever changing sound of pharmacy techs in that store you never know what you're gonna get. It really is quite simple, the prescriptions are there, I will call to have you ready my refills when I need them. Then have the nerve to tell me what "most people do!" Most people don't expect someone to show up at their door with medications if they didn't ask you to bring them. They caused me more stress than it was worth. Not like I had to go with them. I've moved to a new pharmacy that is also in my community. If I wanted to be treated the way CVS treats its customers, I would have stayed there.

Located in the working class…read moresection of Staten Island's North Shore known as Stapleton - 638 Bay Street, very near the Stapleton Station train stop and not far from the Ferry - the price range is "From two dollars and up," according to the manager. They have great hours too - well suited for working people. Closed on Tuesdays, they are open 11 am to 8 pm on weekdays and from 11 to 6 on weekends. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the items for sale are just terrific. If you want a true antique that is unique and in great shape you may pay a couple of hundred dollars but not thousands. This is not a thrift store and yet it is affordable. What caught my eye were the two very large animals in the window display. Prior to the store opening I shot a photo of the window display, focusing on one of the creatures - this image was a very popular item on flickr. My photo wound up in the "In Explore" group which is a highly sought after honour. I generally get from 200-300 hits on an image and 8-10 favourites - the window display from Love Your Furniture got over 5400 hits and 67 faves. What was the item? A large, pink, jewel encrusted, bird or mammal of some sort. When the store opened I ventured in to see what the creature was - it, and the jewel encrusted golden giraffe that graces the other side of the window display, was apparently part of a carousel at one time. This truly unique item and many more diminutive but equally interesting items await the visitor at this gem of a store. In addition to antiques the store features handmade items by Yana, one of the owners - one such item is a gorgeous decoupage end table. If you are on the Island to check out our great street art - and Stapleton is the epicenter of this activity - stop by Love Your Furniture Again Antiques. Upon arrival, wife and baby in tow, they asked me to please leave my beverage at the desk, not politely, but not necessarily rudely. Aloof, I suppose. Sure. Then they also asked to leave my diaper bag. Eh, uh, okay. Immediately put off. What if my baby needs a bottle? I gotta go all the way back to the front? Little did I know that there was only one floor available, so my annoyance was relatively unjustified. But still, coulda been nicer. In the store itself, it is very well curated, organized far better than the Salvation Army I struggled to search through. The men's section was bustling with good deals for vests, suit pants, and basic button downs. They also had a variety of athletic jerseys, swim trunks, and ties (which I found relatively overpriced). Side story: midway, I struck a conversation with the same aloof cashier previously mentioned, and she turned out to be very kind and funny. So, there's that. There was also a very nice young lady stocking in the aisles. The outcome was small, but great: a button down for less than three dollars, and these perfectly fitting shorts for less than seven. From, yeah, Banana Republic. The icing on the cake that really sells this place is their flyer in the front that showcases other thrift stores on the island you might not have known about. Stop here first and foremost, try not to spend all your money, and peruse the other shops!
