I ordered parts on the 7th of July, was told 5-7 business days shipping. just curious as to where my parts were 9 business days after so 13 calendar days I contacted dead jeep to see a status update. And was told, "it's only one day past!" I was then told if they xouls get my part shipped out that day they would call me. Was given a tracking number. Then all of the sudden the tracking number is canceled and their website shows status- fulfilled. Rather than answer my questions they choose to refund my money. I bough a transfer case from them on eBay. I received the item promptly. Went to have it installed. It was not the item pictured. Wrong model (different specs) and definitely not in as good of condition as the one in picture. No big deal as I only live about 30 miles from them. That is when the problems started. Seems like in 2019/2020 this would be easy to solve. Since my truck was disabled (keep in mind the jeep was drivable before I went to install the new one) and my mechanic was irritated that it was clogging up a bay - time was the essence. I called first thing on Monday explained the problem .... also keep in mind - they had 'my part' still listed on ebay (clearly fraud or misleading people at this point). They told me 'send it back and we will refund you the money". This obviously didn't help me with a truck missing a transfer case and me already invested time and money into replacing it. I asked for the following: 1) Please send me a new one today and I will drive the other one down this weekend - no. 2) Please send me one and I will mail back (gotta be expensive) - no. 3) Please send me one and I will offer you a 3x deposit on my credit card - no. 4) Split the cost of putting one in an uber and ill send mine back via uber - no. 5) Let me buy another one over the phone (they are a retail operation) and I will send the other one back through ebay. - no. 6) have one of their people drive up and replace it - no (had to be less expensive than shipping a 150lb hunk of metal in two directions). As you might imagine - I got pretty animated and the things got worse. They had no sensitivity to the fact I had a disabled truck, had invested time and money in replacing it and a mechanic that had a time line and was irritated. They only offered me "send it back and we will refund you money" which was not helping me. I think they said I could drive it down and swap it (I live 30-40 but work probably 80 miles and long hours with commute). End of day - no regard for my issue even though it was their MISTAKE OR SCAM. They hid behind ebay policy but I talked to an executive (escalation not the first level support) at ebay that encouraged me to work it out with seller - meaning - ebay would not be offended if we did the swap outside of ebay. I told this to dead jeeps and they just repeated it. I asked to speak to owner and he was right there but refused to get on the phone. So --- if you are concerned about getting the right part or them caring about your satisfaction - don't do business with them. read more

I'm a local mechanic new to the jeep world. I saw one of their YouTube videos and decided it was worth checking out. I talked to the parts woman on the phone about a part on their website and we agreed on a price and since it was the afternoon I asked her if I could come pick it up the following day and she said that would be fine. When I showed up the following day she remembered the conversation but tried to tell me she said a different price. She then charged me for the part and sent one of the guys to get it. After some time the man returned with a different and much older part than the one discussed, and it wasn't even the correct one for my vehicle. After I pointed that out the woman says to me "we just paint them to look better anyway" and then walked away to discuss something with the man out of my presence. The man walks back in, apologized, and told me they sold the part we had talked about already, and for my trouble, offered to get me another one later in the week for $10 less and I agreed that would be fine. The sales woman then steps in and says no thats not ok. She tells him that he can't make that deal and then tells me I should have come that day we 1st talked about it if I wanted it. Which I would have if she had said so in the 1st place. She then told me to go buy a refurbished one online instead. Made me feel like a worm. Thanks for the insult to injury. I'll happily tell all my mechanic friends about your fine customer service. Hold on to your wallet people. Stay away from the parts lady. She does her best to make you feel like a pest. read more

Awful company to deal with. Bought a transmission from them through eBay with a "guaranteed delivery date of..." They of course took the money out of my account right away but wasn't seeing any shipping. Then they sent a letter with a tracking number on it (so to eBay it looked like the tranny was sent) the letter was telling me there was a delay. I gave it a couple weeks and still nothing. Emailed them asking what the issue was. They responded saying because of corona that they only had one person in shipping and they were doing what they can. I understood that to a point, but if you had the tranny and the guy shipping it- how long does it really take to put it in a box and call fed ex??? Finally got tracking info about a month after and received the tranny. Was finally happy I could get my XJ back on the road. Got it all installed and went to fill it with fluid and discovered it was cracked!!! Sent them pictures and tried to get hold of them to resolve this and to date- ZERO RESPONSE. and the AX-15 wasn't even out of an XJ, because had to swap out my shifter tower to make it even fit. Claimed they thoroughly tested it and also fluid was clean. Pulled drain plug to drain what was left of my new fluid and sludge came out. So obviously not tested nor did it have clean fluid. I drove here on a Saturday afternoon to get a part that was listed in stock on the website. I called when I was outside because I couldn't find the place. I had the part number and the listing from the website. The woman who answered the phone couldn't have sounded less interested to help me, at one point saying "this isnt door dash honey". I tried to tell her what I needed and she kept talking over me saying the parts departKent wasn't there and if I didn't know what I wanted that she couldn't find it, even though I was trying to tell her what I needed, basically chasing me off the phone. My parts were discontinued through the dealer, and found these guys on a google search. They had exactly what I needed for a great price. Placed the order and almost immediately received an order confirmation and tracking information. It was due to arrive on Friday, and I received it a day early. EVERYTHING was in the package exactly as described. How can it get any better than that?! Not only can I get the old TJ back on the road safely, but now I can enjoy it again with my wife and kids. Big thanks from dead jeep blew my motor in my wj ..gave them a call to see if they had a motor avaliable and the office told me it was in stock and ready to be picked up. I went the next day bought it dropped it in runs phenomenally.. battery died on me hooked jump pack up backwards called them right back after figuring out the computer was fried asked if they had a computer with a sim, and they had that too like bam!!! Don't waste your money- these guys are liars and rip-offs! I bought a used, in "good condition" transfer case from them and was told it would be shipped the next day. Two weeks later and no part, i called to see what the deal was. After getting the run-around about it for a few days, i was sent the shipping info- the part was just sent out 2 weeks after placing the order! Thats not even the bad part- I had the Transfer case installed just to find out it was worn and the chain was loose and slapping around inside. They agreed to send a replacement- that was over a month ago- I have no replacement. I've been contacting them just about every week and apparently they are still waiting for the "shipping department" to get them the info. Every time I ask where the part is, its always the same response- "I'll get the info to you by the end of the day". I've been hearing this over and over for weeks. I'll be spending the money on a new Transfer case since I don't even trust having the junk they sent me rebuilt. This is the most unprofessional "business" I've ever dealt with. I was in the doghouse with my wife having bought her the Jeep she always dreamed of in the winter (thus it came with a hard top) with the assurance from the seller that I could put a soft top on easy and that all the hardware was there when the warm weather came. Well, turns out when I purchase the soft top online and try to install it (for my wife's birthday present) all the hardware had been stripped out by the previous owner and I was screwed. Being my first Jeep and not mechanically inclined at all My wife called me a fool and was pissed to say the least. I went from place to place only to be told I would have to buy their hardtop, pay for install etc...I was looking at close to $750 easy most likely much more. Having been laid off from my job and facing surgery soon thank God I found Jeeps Unlimited. They didn't even know the whole story just that I was in the doghouse with my wife and thy were my only hope. Well, what one of the owners did next demonstrates why they deserve all your business. He not only provided me with ALL the hardware down to the last screw (and every one of them was missing) he installed it and my soft top which was not even purchased from him on a day that was in the high 90s with 100 percent humidity. He worked his ass off trying to make the soft top which was not from the factory and too small fit and refused to allow me to leave until it was perfect. It touch over two hours and the final bill was only $200! These guys are top notch, old school, Jeep experts you can trust. They made our summer and possibly saved my marriage!
