A joyful, welcoming laundry experience thanks to Renee!…read more I found Fast and Fresh Laundry online and decided to make the drive from Glen Ellyn to visit my son and do his laundry. I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how welcoming and joyful the environment was. Renee was the attendant on duty, and she is absolutely wonderful. Her nature is so helpful, professional, and warm. She thoroughly explained the process for using the machines and made sure I had everything I needed. The entire experience was fantastic, not only because of the great facilities but because of Renee's kind, friendly service. The laundromat itself is very clean and well-maintained, and I felt completely safe the entire time. It's a joyful and friendly atmosphere that made a chore feel more like a pleasant stop during my visit. If I'm ever in the area again, I will absolutely stop by just to say hi, even if I don't have any laundry to do. Do yourself a favor and go to Fast and Fresh Laundry--you will feel right at home!

It's a good location-right on Roosevelt Rd. near Trader Joe's and Starbucks which makes waiting easier. I always come to wash my comforter(s), since the washer I have at home is too small. Some of their washers and dryers are big enough to fit both at once which cuts down my time being there. The biggest dryer dries both of my queen size comforters within 45 minutes. I paid $6 for the washer and a little less than $2 for the dryer (it's .25 cents for 6 minutes I believe). Detergent and softener there is $1 each.

Little regard for the customers health. My eyes and throat are irritated. Shame on them. The place was full of dust we were all breathing. No, a laundry business should never remove ceiling tiles with customers directly underneath. Removing tiles generates significant airborne dust, debris, and potential health hazards (like asbestos, mold, or old insulation). Operations must be done after hours, or the immediate area must be strictly cordoned off

Responsive: They have never missed a cleaning session in the last year since they started cleaning our home. Furthermore, they are always responsive to our communications. They truly live by their word and professionalism. 3. Caring: most importantly, Carla and her crew deeply care about your home and clean / take care of it as if it their we're own home. They were very consistent on their drop off and pick up times, hence 2 stars instead of one The bills were quite a challenge due to the inconsistency of the billing cycle and the ticket numbers. Do you have an accounting degree? That would help. Unless you kept the tickets and audited the bills, you weren't sure if you were paying for your cleaning. Some months you would get a bill for 2 weeks of service, some months it would be for 6 weeks. They had a guy doing the billing as his second job, so you could never reach him and it took weeks to get an answer. I ended up switching to a different service because of the billing issues.

However -- a big problem: We wash our clothes scent-free due to a family member's asthma and allergies. Put in a load of laundry, used our own unscented Tide Free & Gentle liquid detergent, and the load came out strongly scented. I don't know if this is due to a previous person's load leaving scented residue, or if the establishment "freshens" the washers with something scented. We use this laundromat for heavy loads, or if we have a problem with our home machine. Unfortunately, we won't be able to patronize this location again due to the residual fragrance left in our laundry. It will take weeks or re-washing and hanging outside to try to remove it. Prior to the new ownership, we never had this issue.
