I've been accused of stealing twice (both separate times) and have been cleared twice. This morning I went in and did a return that I thought was gonna be quick and easy and was going to shop around after, but was met with the rudest lady. She made a fuss over the entire thing, but I eventually got my money back. It really does suck because they have some cute stuff! Some of which though, are over priced. I tend to decline assistance when I shop so I can browse at my leisure without pressure from a salesperson. Luis approached me asking what size I was looking for and guided me to their selection and left me to have a look. After trying a couple pairs, I figured I might try a size smaller. He saw me looking around, pointed me in the right direction and pulled a couple different brands to help me find the right fit. He took time to educate me on proper fit, brought me other boots to try, and offered to put them back for me. I felt no pressure, he respected my space, and was a huge help. His customer service was great! He is helpful, attentive, and very friendly. Boot Barn, he's a keeper lol.

They also had a good hat selection and accessories! The value is pretty standard across all boot barns! Jeans need in-person shopping for me rather online because I need to know the fit. I found a large section of jeans and the sizes were in a jumbled mess, with many of the size indicators on the hanger not matching the actual size of the jeans and forget about having the sizing be hung in smallest to largest order. After pouring through the racks I only found three size 3 pairs, which didn't give me much to choose from. When I entered the unattended fitting room, it was like entering a disaster area - each stall was littered with clothes. On the ground, on the hooks, on the seat - just chaos. The return rack was overflowing onto the ground. I found a pair of jeans that fit and went to go checkout and was surprised to find that the line leads you straight to a self checkout area of many stations, then much further back is a checkout with a single cashier standing there, looking away and avoiding eye contact. I rang up my jeans and when I left the alarm went off because apparently there was a security tag on my jeans. I brought it up to the woman behind the counter who motioned for me to a device where I could remove it myself. Shopping at this Kohl's was the most unjoyful experience imaginable; it was beyond depressing and I just can't fathom why Kohl's considers this business model to work. The store was like a ghost town with almost no shoppers anywhere, and it's no wonder.
