One of my favorite tapas places! Everything was excellent from the hamburgers to the foie gras toast (best dish). Make reservations!

Beautiful tuna with wasabi ice cream and gorgeous chopsticks presented out of a lovely box by our server.

What a gem in Ronda, Spain! Had lunch here on the fly and boy were we taken aback by the phenomenal food! Service was prompt and flawless. Run to De Locos and order one of everything, if not two! Fair prices are the cherry on top!

Nice place, tapas are 2 - 5 euro. Small in size but made with fantasy! Great service! We can recommend this place to everybody visiting Ronda!

A Ronda must visit! Everything we had here was delicious , especially the Oxtail Briewart! Sangria was the best I've ever had and O-M-G the Gin and Tonic sorbet is one of a kind! Also get the Truffles!!! If I lived in Ronda, I would be a regular. Guillermo the owner was an excellent host, it was as if he were hosting a dinner party ! Make sure to stop by ahead and make reservations as there are only 5 tables and the place is literally always booked full!

De Locos completely exceeded all expectations. We stopped by on a chilly Ronda night after having been turned away by a couple of places which had 30-40 minute waits. We were able to be seated at De Locos in about 10-15 minutes, at a cute table upstairs. The menu (in English, which was a treat given our terrible Spanish skills) was extremely well priced given the quality and intricacy of the dishes. Our favorites were the lamb tagine, Moroccan chicken skewers, sea bass ceviche, and crispy quail egg nest. Let me just say that the quail egg nest is a work of art -- it's adorned with tiny flowers and shavings of cheese (Parmesan?), and served on a small cross-section of a tree. For three moderately hungry people, the bill was just over 30 euro, which is a small price to pay for perfection!

She explained that the meal was a prix-fixe style, although she didn't use that term. We were initially led to believe it was a daily pre-set menu. The server showed us the evening's offerings (pointing to a refrigerated display case with red meat, fish, and vegetables), which she said was 45 for meat and 30 (or 35) for fish, including appetizers, vegetables, and dessert of the day. Drinks were not included. When we asked for a wine list, we were told there wasn't one, and that they would choose the wine for us instead. We would have ordered another glass, but we had no idea about the price. The server inquired about any allergies, and I mentioned that while I wasn't allergic to anything, I didn't eat red meat. Despite not selecting the dishes, the following were brought to us: Appetizers Main course -- she brought red meat for both of us, but I declined since it was made for two Fish Dessert In the end, we were charged for each item individually, and our bill came to 145 Euros. While the food was good and the server was friendly, we felt we were misled and taken advantage of. If they are going to charge separately for each item, customers should at least have the option to choose what they want to order.

It was also made clear that it was 45 Euro per person. With that said, we had the most amazing meal. I feel like I won't eat for a week. First up was toast with tomato relish and the BEST olive oil. Delicious. Followed by asparagus with parmesan. The salad was pumpkin with burrata and greens (I think my favorite), a white fish with roasted veggies, steak with spicy potatoes, and then poached pear in white chocolate for dessert. We have been in South Spain for six weeks and this is our most memorable meal to date. We highly highly recommend.... oh, and we came home with a bottle of wine. Delicious
