I want to give a 5-star review but there were definitely some bumps in the road using this service…read more The pros though: the guys who came to fix up my lawn were really great. They cleaned up my yard great, I got it dethatched and seeded as well as the dips filled in with fresh dirt. Right away my lawn started to look better so I'm excited to see how it heals. Also, loving Yelp and the features, I did get an answer to my estimate request within an hour- also great. The cons.... the guys showed up 26 hours after I was initially expecting them. Thankfully I work from home so I was there when they did actually show up but I don't like the feeling not knowing when to expect people at my house. I feel like the price I paid was worth it so I would consider using them again one day.

From the beginning to the end, Jessica was the above and beyond project coordinator who answered my every email, phone call and followed up with any questions, setting expectations and putting my mind at ease. When the day came the workers did their best to be careful and not damage plants or the landscaping. Yes off course there were very few nails etc that were missed that I kept finding over the next few weeks but they ran a magnet roller to collect most of the old and new ones. They worked at an unbelievable rate without sacrificing quality and did an excellent job. I got solar panels installed a few months later and the inspectors kept commenting on what a good job it was both from outside and from Inside the attic. They also had a no interest 12 month financing facility which I took advantage and paid it off on time to avoid the accrued interest before the time was up. Excellent workmanship, and Jessica behind the scenes is a true credit to the team.

Let me start by saying that the only reason that they even get a single star is because the end…read moreproduct that I asked for turned out to be a nice addition to my property. With that said, the rest of this review will be largely negative for a variety of reasons that I will describe below. Let's get the positives out of the way. The person who took the initial measurements of the property was personable and professional. In addition, as mentioned above, the actual outcome (a walkway) ended up being pretty nice. Now for the negatives, which make up the majority of my experience with this company. 1) scheduling: when I made the decision to go with them, I asked them when the work would be started. Their response - call us back in 3 weeks or so and we'll see if you're on the calendar yet... What good looks like to me is that they tell me a target, and then get in touch with me regularly as we get closer to the date. In addition, even though they eventually told me the date, they showed up unannounced two weeks early (no joke - they just showed up, assuming it was ok to get started...). To add to that, they didn't finish the first day, and said they'd be back the next day. Well, they didn't show up, so I had to call the office...again... They ended up coming the following day. 2) the job site: there are too many problems to list here, but I'll do my best. First, they dug up a bunch of dirt for the walkway, and they just threw it on the grass surrounding the area. So much that I had to replant grass seed in the area. Second, for a company with "garden" in their name, they sure do seem clueless in terms of how to work a garden. Specifically, they dug up parts of our garden, and, instead of putting it back, they just placed the dug-up plants on top of the dirt (vs. replanting them). In addition, they tossed a bunch of dirt on top of the newly mulched garden area... Third, when digging, they cut an exposed root to a tree in the yard. I guess we'll see in about 7-9 months if the tree survived... Finally, they went in my fenced-in back yard for some reason. Well, instead of closing the gate when they left, they left it wide open, which would be fine if I didn't have kids and several animals who roam the backyard... 3) communication: last but not least, their communication was quite subpar. Aside from the scheduling mishaps, they were unresponsive to email, and messed up my final invoice (added a line item for a $750 project they didn't do...). Overall, this was a poor experience. I would strongly recommend against anyone doing business with this company. Keep looking - you can thank me later.
