As a Colorado Native, I fell in love with DD's Discounts and managed to buy all sorts of awesome clothes here that look almost similar to Ross. We don't carry DD's Discounts in any shopping centers in any part of Colorado. (Which is a total shame!) I found some perfect shirts and even a flowery skirt. I enjoy the racks filled with cute clothes for both women and kids. I don't really understand the negative comments for DD's Discounts. I've personally had a good time shopping in and out. I think we've visited this location on our vacation to buy more clothes more than I ever did here in Denver. I loved the long boho skirts but they did run a tad bit too large and long. I wouldn't generally buy my leggings here because they run as one size, and it doesn't really convince me that it'll fit my size in thighs and overall my legs. I loved the long dresses and the perfect alternative lotions, perfumes, and shoes as well. Guys, this store also manages to sell really nice watches, purses, handbags and shampoos. It is the ultimate cheap rack store to go to and not deal with the messes of shopping at Ross. I was actually pretty bummed out that Denver doesn't carry this line of clothing store chains. We do have, well, Ross, but it's not as impressive as this selection. I'm hoping one day that we will shortly open on here, until then, it's all vacation shopping to go!! read more

Talk about a place that is always crowded! Yeah you can find good deals here, if you like to dig while you're shopping. I find myself not being very creative with the odds and ends here and my patience wears thin. This is not a reflection on the store or the associates, merely the environment, which cannot be held against them. I've been here quite a few times since it's by moms home. Place seems pretty stocked and organization is decent. The lines are hot or miss depending what time you get there. This store has lots off different things just like Ross, but DDs prices I think it is a little lower than Ross. read more

Do not go the 2 first weeks of the month, yes shelves are bare and lines are long, however the last week of the month you can actually find some nice home goods at a decent price, clothing meh! its a last minute/ I forgot to pick something up or need a change of clothes type of place, sister stores are TJ Max, Ross, Marshalls ad DD's is on the bottom on poll. I decided to come into the store to buy some staging items for my open house, yes it's ghetto but you can at lease be courteous to your guess. I waited in line while they gossip behind the counter and when they finally decided to cash me out I didn't get a sorry for the wait thank you for waiting, nothing. I have been to this store several times before and have noticed the employees indifference to their shoppers. What has turned me off is the last few times when I went there, I asked to use their restroom as in the past was no problem. I was LIED to and told they don't have one. Today, I requested to use restroom and was told it is not available for the public. I protested as I really needed to use restroom in order to continue shopping. Dressing room attendant pushed button for Security, lol...,over use of a restroom?!, and when I said that I've used it before, pointing in wrong direction, he asked me if I peed on floor!! Very disrespectful to anyone, let alone the fact that this just out of high school security kid was disrespecting a 60 plus woman. They said I need to go to their neighboring store, Marshalls. I protested and they finally relented, saying just this one time, but not next. At checkout I complained to Manager and was told that is their policy. This is no way to treat customers ever! I have always heard about the discounts here but have never been. So my family decides to go and get clothes for my son. I only looked in the boys and women's clothing areas. Great deals on boys clothes, the women's clothes are not my type of clothes. Headed to the check out just in time because the line behind us got long, quick. There was one cashier and 4 loss prevention employees. 1 cashier. And she was going super slow. Finally another cashier opened up but the way they help customers is all wrong. Before the cashier even finishes ringing up her customer, she is calling the next customer up. So I was standing there waiting for her to finish looking like an idiot. Then she started ringing up my clothes and called up a security guard to chat about another employee. She was going very slow and took her sweet time putting the clothes into the bag. She kept trying to get me to swipe my card before she finished, but just in case something is labeled wrong; I don't like to swipe my card until the transaction is finished. The cashier again called up the customer behind me up before she was finished. My receipt came up so I pulled it and started to walk out with my cart. The cashier said, "Um, you forgot your shirt" and told her, "well, you called the next customer up, I thought I was finished. The customer service just sucks. No welcome, no thank you, they don't even give you the receipt, they were telling other customers to get it themselves. Then I got stuck in the door trying to get out with my baby's car carrier on cart. The carts do not go outside. I realize this may be the more ghetto area of San Bernardino, but come on. There were more loss prevention employees than cashiers. My husband said that since the prices were so low, that is why customer service is bad. That is no excuse in my book. I would go to another location for the prices, but not this one again. read more

I will not be going to this place again, ever. I'm not picky about the places I go, but customer service is everything. I just moved to Southern Cali and heard this place was great for its prices because I need to fill my new house back up. I walked in and none of the associates were even barely cracking a smile. I don't know if it's the area that it's in, but I had never seen such sad employees at other places I have been. I shopped around and they have no variety. I settled for a few things, but by the end of my shopping, I regretted it and this is why: It's my turn to check out and I smile at the cashier and she just continues a conversation with a fellow employee, whom I believe was a manager. They are talking about partying for Halloween and whatnot. This girl NEVER says hi or returns a smile. She just works like a robot. At this time, another man comes in to return something and gets behind me. She tells him to get in line where he has to and to get behind a woman who got there after him. He tells her that he was already there and she very rudely answers, "Well, you have to get behind her and wait your turn." he repeats that he was there before her and she continues with her rude demands. The man gets behind the woman and he complains one more time and she says YOU HAVE TO WAIT! I'LL DO YOUR RETURN AFTER. I couldn't believe how rude she was. When I finish and I am about to head out, I notice that the carts are not allowed outside the store. I have heavy boxes with glasses, plates, pots etc. I ask her how I am supposed to take my things out to my car and she looks at me, gives me a look like I'm bothering her and turns around to keep checking out items. I was so angry I felt like getting my money back, but I did not want to hold the line up. It's not the customer's fault. I was embarrassed to be left standing there, talking to myself basically. Their security guy offered to help take my things to my car so he earned them that one star. That girl should be fired, and I never wish that on anyone, but customer service is not her thing and she does not belong there.
