As I arrived, there was a slight confusion, as there are no signs of it being a business. However, the stylist, Dinah, greeted me at the door and walked me over to the salon area as her previous customer left. Dinah asked me to put on a jacket to catch the hair. The jacket covered the back part of my body. On top of that, she placed the customary frontal cover to catch the hair on the front side. Rapport was established immediately, and I felt comfortable right away. There's something g about the place being in a home that makes you feel cozy. Now, don't get me wrong. This isn't a place where someone decided to cut hair In their house. The salon looks like a salon on the inside with all the amenities of a salon. There's a wash tub for your hair to get shampooed, which I got, and just about everything you expect. It doesn't look girly either, which will make most men comfortable. Credit cards are accepted and my hair has received compliments since I left. Because of the double-covered areas, I didn't require a change in clothe after I left, as I had no hair on my body and Dinah combed me before I left. I will most definitely return here.

The barber I was going to quit and I needed a new barber. I tried this place based on reviews. I signed in and requested Lupe because others recommended him for beards. I had just missed him, so I went with JT who recently transferred from another barber shop. I entered, signed in and waited in full view of three employees (not including JT), and no one acknowledged my presence for at least 10 minutes. One barber finished the client he was with and left. After a few more minutes JT, whose station was out of my line of sight finished with his client and came around to the front. Seeing my name, he called me to his station. I showed JT pictures of what I wanted, and he delivered. He was pleasant and efficient. He gave me both a haircut and redefined my beard. I am happy with the results, and so is my wife. He listened, understood and gave me what I requested. JT's service was just fine. I gave the business as a whole only 2 stars for customer service because of not being acknowledged for so long. A quick, "welcome, someone will be with you in a few moments," would have been nice. Clients include men, women and children. So it's family friendly. A TV is on the wall near the waiting area.
