As I arrived, there was a slight confusion, as there are no signs of it being a business. However, the stylist, Dinah, greeted me at the door and walked me over to the salon area as her previous customer left. Dinah asked me to put on a jacket to catch the hair. The jacket covered the back part of my body. On top of that, she placed the customary frontal cover to catch the hair on the front side. Rapport was established immediately, and I felt comfortable right away. There's something g about the place being in a home that makes you feel cozy. Now, don't get me wrong. This isn't a place where someone decided to cut hair In their house. The salon looks like a salon on the inside with all the amenities of a salon. There's a wash tub for your hair to get shampooed, which I got, and just about everything you expect. It doesn't look girly either, which will make most men comfortable. Credit cards are accepted and my hair has received compliments since I left. Because of the double-covered areas, I didn't require a change in clothe after I left, as I had no hair on my body and Dinah combed me before I left. I will most definitely return here.

More than anything, I wanted to see how nail salons were changing and adapting due to Covid-19. I was happy to receive a confirmation text that explained the precautions they were taking and what I was to expect during my visit as a client; this put me quite se ease. They told me to have a mask on and wait in my car until they texted me to let me know my technician was ready. I'm glad I remembered my mask! I noticed that clients weren't allowed to touch nail polishes, you would point to bottle and technician would take bottles and place them at your service station. The no touching anything made me very happy. That means they are being extra cautious. My technician was also wearing gloves, a mask, and shield during the whole service. It seemed uncomfortable but definitely necessary. I was very happy with my service overall. Brenda, my nail technician was very attentive and thorough. There was a mis communication, I had booked time for a mani/pedi and told them I'd need extra time because of the condition of my nails but I was only scheduled for pedi. As soon as Brenda made them aware of the situation they did re-arrange the schedule and gave me extra time. I paid 80.00 dollars for my service and I was very pleased. Good service takes time, care, and extra attention. These ladies know how to take care of you. La Posada Spa offers CND products which I learned from my regular nail expert Michelle at Pewter Nails in Reno are the best. Thank you Brenda and thank you La Posada Spa. I will see you all again when I'm back in the area.

I went to his studio and sadly he told me he had to cancel and reschedule for another time. He was very genuine and apologetic and offered a free shampoo and discount for our new reschedule appt (Awesome by the way) unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the rescheduled appt due to work. Anyways, 3rd attempt and so so worth it!! (He did come through with the shampoo that he promised and the discount which was very nice of him) There is a seating area with a variety of magazines to look through and a flat screen that was playing the movie "White Chicks" lol SO, Carlos did an awesome job with my hair! I had dyed my hair jet black (I know I know, it's bad for my hair) about two months before I met with Carlos for my hair appointment and I had showed him a photo of something similar that I wanted and he did above and beyond! He knows what he is doing It's been three months now since that appointment with him, my hair grew out a little and I just still love it.
