As a woman who likes a short, clean, no-fuss cut, I am always frustrated with salons that want to "overdo" my "do". Having driven by here to get groceries and wine for a few weeks, I decided to make an appointment to fix my last "overdo" (too much texturing and reliance on product). Saw G today and after a quick consult, was given a fantastic cut on my short, fine hair, and great service. Would recommend for anyone wanting a local barbershop that serves everyone and has a welcoming atmosphere. Gary is just the best!

In recent years since the pandemic making an online reservation has kind of taken the place of walking in. I have mixed feelings about it only because the wait sometimes is longer than the haircut itself, and well if you can't honor the time then don't make us reserve a time. My time off is often brief and usually filled with errands. I don't want to waste a minute sitting and waiting. That complaint out of the way, Floyds employees excellent hair stylists and are extremely friendly and priced fair. I highly recommend.

The only problem I had was, the girl who cut his hair first took her sweet time getting to the register, there was no one in there but still, at least do so in a timely manner. She looked like she hated her job, if you hate it that much then quit. Then when I would try to point something out about his hair (he just got out of the military, he's a man so hair knowledge is not his forte) she would get rude and snippy with me but as nice as she could be to my husband (crossed a line, I'm from the south and almost wanted to smack the gum out of her mouth). My husband likes it, so I guess we will go as long as she's not the one doing his hair next time.

The staff also showed me where to find the complimentary beverages, including juice, mint- and lemon-infused water, and tea. I was escorted to my locker and shown how to use it. The locker room was clean and included showers and restrooms. After changing into the provided robe and sandals, I grabbed a refreshing cool washcloth with cucumber slices and a cup of juice before settling into the relaxation room. The atmosphere was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what I needed to unwind before my massage. My massage was with Rob, and he was absolutely amazing. Those hands are a gift from God! He applied the perfect amount of pressure and worked every area that needed attention. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. I would definitely return and would happily book with Rob again.

Who is Robert Andrew? The drive here from the city is a good 45 minutes drive if you don't have traffic, so add traffic and now I'm driving to the boonies for spa day, the math didn't math. However, I finally made my way to the boondocks and was quite surprised, not quite the spa I'm used to but not bad. They do not have a relax room or at least I wasn't offered that. Not sure if that's because they were busy or I got overlooked. I know relaxation rooms, their "tranquility" room, is likely small as most are but, I'm used to being told to come early or stay late to utilize all amenities. This wasn't done for me. The ONLY thing I love is that this place has couple rooms. Massages for couples, ummmmm YES please. I also love that they have packages for full day services that include lunch. A all day spa day is something every woman should do a few times a year. Not many places cater to this type of service anymore so for me, that's a plus here. Overall, cute spa, clean, and somewhat upscale. I wouldn't drive to this spa for service but if I lived in the area, I would come. Prices are reasonable. 3 stars for me only cause they do not have valet service, it's self parking, I didn't get to use the tranquility room, maybe it was packed, who knows, but if you advertise a tranquility room let your customers use it. If I'm paying 500$ plus for spa services I want full service from the door to the spa table and back! 3 stars but would return!
