(Obviously this was before Covid). We stopped seeing him because he kept eluding to that he was going recommend a treatment plan for my spouse that could put her life in danger. Also, he doesn't like to be questioned...we questioned him in private over the phone and he said he would no longer treat my wife at all. He cut her off as a patient without giving her time to find another doctor. It's called "patient abandonment" and is medical malpractice. But ya'll go on giving him 5 stars on Google because you think he's "nice".

If you get to speak with someone on the first call you generally can not get an appointment day of or even week of. I had a medical issue on a weekend and went to Urgent Care. Urgent Care told me if I was not better in 3 or 4 days to see my Dr. I called because I was not better and was told the earliest appointment would be 19 days out. 19 Days! I explained the urgency of the situation and said that I would like to see another Doctor in his office. Nothing was available and the nurse suggested I contact Urgent Care. Perfect, and I just told her Urgent Care told me to see my Doctor. This is not the first time that I have had a hard time scheduling an appointment with Dr. Thompson, but it is going to have to be the last time. I like Dr. Thompson, but it is just to difficult to get an appointment. If you can schedule your sickness and aches and pains around their schedule then go for it, but I can not do it.

As stated, as time went on, Dr. Matthews became​ less and less helpful to my medical needs and appeared more withdrawn and consequently became unable to meet my needs. Many of my health questions were answered​ with "I don't treat that"s. After my NEXT TO LAST visit​ with her, I made arrangements to be accepted into another doctor's practice; and I did not inform her of such acceptance on our last visit during which she indicated on paper that I was a "complex case" which she could not handle but would see me until I found a new physician. I am very very pleased​ with my new physician's training, interest​ in details​, pleasant attitude, and feel that I am receiving TOP medical attention. I am very aware of the changes in the medical field as it relates to the physicians' practices. I am doing much better on medicines that have been totally eliminated​ or reduced in quantity. When I have a need, I do not have to spend an entire day​ waiting for a response or possibly being seen EVEN during that week, much less the next day, which was the case with two of my serious needs as follow-up from ER. After speaking with Dr. Norling on the phone, she led me to believe she truly cared about "finding…read morethe root cause". She ordered a plethora of tests, one of which my dietitian wanted to give me, but I went with her her, which found a specific bacteria. The bacteria would have resolved on its own, but she opted to use prescription medication which made me much worse. Antibiotics. She wanted me to go on Cipro!!!!! Additionally, I was in severe adrenal fatigue. She knew I was on a corticosteroid and chose to give me two other tests that would be completely invalid because of that fact. On her $500 allergy test it revealed I was sensitive to brown rice. After my saliva and cortisol test it revealed my cortisol was too high. That was due to the corticosteroid I was on, which she completely ignored. She had me purchase $300 worth of supplements from Sanesco, which she is on the board of -- by the way, and there's rice flour as a filler in all the supplements. Furthermore, I showed her my thyroid panel when I sat down with her and she still gave me supplements that contained iodine. If she knew anything about Hashimoto's she would not have done that. I advised her that I should not be taking anything that contains added iodine and she still said i need to take them. This woman is extremely pricy. She nickel and dimes you for E V E R Y single minute. Charged me $225 for 20 minutes for a phone call. When I exceeded 30 minutes because she was chatty, she upcharged me $300. She does not read your results thoroughly. I am happy for the patients who healed from her, but I did not. I trashed all her expensive supplements because they were doing nothing but spiking my B12, so high that my doctor said stop all B12 supplements ASAP. I could go on and on about how there's no follow up AT ALL. The office is not very organized. But I'll stop here. Do your due diligence. She's extremely money hungry and concerned with her bottom line. There are so many tests out there that you can purchase on your own like from ZRT Labs, where you don't need someone to sit there and tell you what a piece of paper says. Very sad.

There has been several computer system changes (according to the office staff) which has lead to constantly having to update information, inability to log onto the patient portal, and mix-ups with insurance, parent, and payment information. I needed information for my child's school from the doctor's office. I was unable to log in to the patient portal to request the information. I tried to schedule an appointment online and was not allowed to do so. I called the office to request the information. I was told it would be handled. Nothing. I hand delivered a written request. Again, nothing. 2 months later, I have finally scheduled an appointment! Here's hoping we can get all of this resolved before Christmas!
