Qck Clean - Weekly Airbnb Cleaning

Qck Clean

I use reviews to find everything and everyone, so if you're like me, here's a very comprehensive…read morereview of my house cleaning 3 days ago. We used Qck Clean to clean the items and areas I don't usually do myself, or cannot clean well because of my back. We were having a party the next day and I had so much to do. I gave the 2 cleaners a very comprehensive list of exactly what I wanted done in each room as well as the entire house. I mentioned the most important things were the showers and the floor, especially since we have a dog. My husband and I had spent hours putting everything away and cleaning all the regular stuff the day before. I said I was going to make my bed, because I didn't want them to spend time on the stuff I could do, and then my daughter and I would leave to run errands. We came back once to check in, and when we finally returned they were gone. They did a decent job on some things, like the blinds, baseboards and oven (although the oven racks were left in my sink). However, I was extremely disappointed in several things! We had 2 cleaners and I'm not sure who was responsible for what. First of all, my bed was remade - even though I said I was making it and THAT WAS NOT ON MY LIST! I know some would think that's great, but I'm particular about my bed. Because my dog sleeps with us, I use rollers to remove all of the dog hair from everything and lay a top sheet over the blankets. It takes me about 25 min. Everything was removed and put back on completely wrong and had dog hair all over it - likely because everything was thrown on the floor to remake it. My daughter's bed was also made incorrectly - again, not on my list. We had to redo both. *The floors were still dirty! Although I left a lot of mop pads only a few were used. They were just pushing dirt around. The pads were filthy and covered in clumps of dog hair - a sure sign the floor wasn't fully vacuumed before mopping. I noticed there were areas on the floor that had lines of dirt and hair and the carpets looked dirty. I had to vacuum most of the house again and I filled AN ENTIRE CANISTER with hair and dirt! Then I mopped some areas (the best I could) and got 2 really dirty pads for my trouble. (See pics) Someone cleaned the shelf above my daughter's bed - again NOT on my list - where she keeps all her collectibles and some nano block (tiny legos) characters she built. 2 of these characters were in pieces their boxes (did someone shake them?!) and **they were hidden behind other collectibles on the shelf! Another one had her arm broken off. NO NOTE, NO TEXT. No apology or even an email informing us this had happened! Unacceptable! (See pic) Some of the things that I DID want cleaned, that WERE on my list, did not get done. Like cleaning inside the refrigerator and cleaning the floors in the laundry room. The worst part was I had so much to do (which is why I paid to have it done) and I had to spend about 1 1/2 hrs cleaning what wasn't done properly- and my daughter is trying to fix what was broken. This company is slightly more affordable than others, there was good communication and they were there on time. They were very nice! Aside from what I mentioned, everything else was OK. If that's all you need, then here you go. But if you want a cleaning job that's more than OK, you might want to look elsewhere. Sorry.

I came to Boat Specialists to purchase a new trailer. Not only did they have a great selection of…read moretrailers, they had them IN STOCK which is unheard of in these times. Kyle, the sales person I was dealing with is fantastic. He has a great attitude, very knowledgeable and extremely responsive. Kyle got my trailer all taken care of on the business end and then turned me over to the service department to complete the work. Everyone in the service department is top notch. This has been the only boat repair service that I've ever left happy. All of the guys in the service department are very helpful and friendly, which I am not used to when dealing with boat people. They gave me a tour of their entire facility which is new, indoors and quite large. All of their repairs seem to happen in a large, clean and fully stocked Costco sized warehouse. They even have a fiberglass shop and paint booth. This place is fully stocked with Outboards, general boat gear and everything you could possibly need. It's extremely clean and well organized. Like anywhere else that's top notch, you might pay just a little more but it's definitely worth it. Worth it enough that I was inclined to write this review over a boat trailer. If you want a quality product with quality service to back it up, these guys are definitely who you want to go to. Also, they also included a complimentary torque wrench to keep the wheels properly torqued. They'll show you how to use it if you don't know how.

I just purchased my first sailboat - and it's big. (My rigging guy patiently explained that…read moreusually, you buy a 25 foot boat in your younger days, then move up gradually). Well, my circumstances dictated a larger first boat. Insurance was difficult to obtain, and when I did, they asked for 30 hours of sailing and a sign off from a licensed captain. Captain Joe of Far West marine agreed to be my mentor, and I could not be happier; an expert sailor, an intuitive teacher, and an interesting person to spend time with. We have finished our insurance requirement and I feel like I've made a good friend. Im sure we will sail again in the future.

I quickly realized I'd need professional training or else the boat would never be enjoyed and might as well be sold. Luckily, I was able to find Captain Joe online. Joe is everything you would want in a marine mentor or coach. He's extremely knowledgeable but also patient and knows what to say and when to say it so you learn while also feeling safe . After a few hours under his tutelage we went from not even being sure how to really start the boat to being able to pull it in and out of the slip ourselves, get it to the ocean , get it on plane, drop anchor. He also went around and did a basic safety check of everything on the boat and gave some recommendations for a simple maintenance plan . Joe is also full of good stories so it's fun just to hang out with him. I'd definitely recommend far west marine for anyone interested in getting into nautical piloting and seamanship .

In November 2023, David started knocking on our door, wanting to service our trailer. He had worked…read morewith his Dad a year before as a helper when we had the axles serviced. He stated that he was taking over for his Dad, of the same name, who had since retired. Even though I didn't need service at that time, I finally agreed to allow him to pack the wheel bearings on our fifth wheel trailer. When he showed up to do the work, he asked me for an advice so he could buy parts, since his Uncle's trailer parts store in Ventura required him to pay cash. That was one of three cash advances over the next three days as the job kept expanding. I allowed him to completely replace all of the brakes and bearings on our 5th wheel Solitude. Cost was $2,450. Cash.During our first trip out there was zero braking even though I tried setting the gain up to 10. After that I tried another trip just to get some miles on the rig to break in the brakes and still no noticeable braking. I then contacted David, and he stated that the brakes are "pre adjusted" from the factory but maybe he should have checked them, but that he would come and take a look at it the next morning at 10 AM. I had the rig ready for him to be worked on the next morning, but he never showed up. I tried calling him that day, as well over the next several days. He never answered the phone. I continued over the next six months, never answered the phone. I am a 78-year old veteran, and even though I still love to camp, I am unable to work on my rig. I had other service try to adjust the brakes but they were never safely functional. After two cancelled trips I finally had a reputable RV shop replace all of the bearings and brakes at a cost of $2300. They worked perfectly after being completely replaced by H&H in Saticoy. Recently, David has coerced Yelp to remove all of the negative reviews concerning his past behavior. My review from 2024 is one of them. I am re-posting it here because my terrible experience hasn't changed: Note: The multiple other negative Yelp reviews that were also removed shared the same experiences of services not rendered, or not done properly.
