Squarespace doesn't offer any direct customer support, and when you do email them for help, they simply send you links to read and "how to" videos to watch. All in all the time and energy it takes to learn how to work with simple design elements can be extremely discouraging. Yes, you can set up a site, but there will be lots of things wrong with it and it will never really look like a professionally built site, which of course it isn't. Working with Mark, however, was simple, easy, and ultimately saved me an incredible amount of energy. After trying to work on my own with Squarespace for almost 2 years, I had a website, but it was nothing like what Mark was able to produce in a short period of time.
