Within a couple weeks of moving in we went to clean the tub. Filled it and began running the jets only to see the water level dropping about 1/2 inch over 10 minutes. The have deflected, blamed us, lied on other sites about offering help (they sent a list of plumbers they found on google), claimed it's a "non invasive inspection" when no invasive inspection was asked for the leak is clearly visible. They are the lowest quality of inspection you can find. It was haphazardly rushed so the inspector could leave to meet up with his wife in NY that afternoon and we are paying the price. I have tried to work with the dishonest Mr. Male. He refuses to take any responsibility or offer any reasonable remed. He is also refusing to provide license #s. That in itself should tell you what type of business they run. They collect your money, show up and look around like it's an open house showing and then when there are issues they will deny all responsibility. Had they done a thorough inspection we would not be in this position. hell, if Mr Male could find a plumber capable of doing the repair he thinks is needed we would not be in this position.

After closing on the property, I discovered during the permitting process that the entire electrical system had to be replaced to meet building code requirements--resulting in an unexpected cost of approximately $52,000. When I contacted Alpha Inspection, I was told they "do not perform code compliance inspections." That response was shocking. The report I received largely consisted of observations that were already visible to anyone walking through the building and failed to identify or even warn about a major issue that led to a massive financial loss. For a $2,000 inspection, I expected far more than a surface-level report with no real value. Even more concerning is the complete lack of professionalism in their follow-up. After I spoke directly with the owner, he told me he would investigate and call me back. That never happened. I waited a week, sent a follow-up text, and still received no response. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes can happen--but ignoring a client after such a serious issue is unacceptable. This experience has cost me $52,000 in unexpected upgrades and left me with zero confidence in the value or accountability of their services. I strongly advise anyone considering Alpha Inspection to think twice and to hire licensed specialists separately for critical systems, because this inspection did not provide the level of diligence or responsibility one would reasonably expect.

He clearly came NOT dressed to do an inspection. He had no tools, not even a flashlight. The 3 major areas I wanted checked he barely gave a cursory glance. I asked about the heating system, he didn't bother to turn it on. He did suggest I might want to get it serviced, gee thanks. The water system, he had no idea what it was or how it worked, again didn't bother to turn it on. Rot on outside boards he looked at visually, when I asked if he thought the rot extended deeper he said he had no way of knowing that. I could go on and on but I think the point has been made. These are all answers I could have guessed at myself and saved myself close to $500. And the roof , we'll he said that looked good, from the ground!! When I called to complain, not that it would do much good since Todd is the owner, I was told he was dressed in linen shorts and a dress shirt because he was coming from a golf tournament.
