He arrived at the house before we did, and had filled out all of the necessary paperwork to get the inspection rolling the night before. The inspection itself was incredibly thorough, which was wonderful, because as we went through the house with Harold, it was clear that the house needed more work than we had thought when we made our offer. There were many problems (costly problems that also would have grown into health hazards) he pointed out to us -- but that had been concealed to the untrained eye. Harold emailed us an extremely detailed report later that night with pictures, and clear language and recommendations. We determined that we were not going to buy the house, and we have Harold to thank for helping us to avoid huge issues down the road. Working with him allieviated all of my fears around us missing something that would end up becoming a huge expense to me.
