Adam was professional, informative and did an all around wonderful job with our inspection. We are looking at a house 100+ years old and he provided us information throughout the house on what needed to be addressed, while also being aware of the age of the house and differences in houses from the time period. He gave us helpful information throughout the process, ample opportunities to ask questions (checking on us throughout) and was super knowledgeable on things unique to the area. The inspection report was provided to us the same day as inspection, was provided online, and included notations, photos, call outs and a coding system for areas of concern . This will allow us to refer back to post move-in and prioritize based on our budget/areas of concern. RJ Inspections sent a young man named John Manson to inspect a mobile home for us in Hooksett New Hampshire. He got there early. Right away when he showed me what he found so far I knew the inspection was going to be good. He gave a rundown on what he was going to do. He spoke very well and was very informative. He was very thorough and didn't rush things. Later in the day I was blown away by the report. It captured everything he was saying as he pointed out things. The pictures and charts made everything crystal clear. He found plenty of problems, but regardless the type of report RJ Inpspections does is an invaluable tool for doing maintenance. When I looked over the agreement it seemed to imply the inpection would be pretty superficial. All that legalize, so you don't expect too much. That was not the case. They delivered more than I expected. It would be useful to get such an inspection even if you weren't selling or buying the house. My real estate agent referred this company. We understand that this is a big investment and we have been reading up on all things homebuyer. Ryan was extremely well informed, and saw things that I never would have noticed. He explained everything in detail, what implications this had on the home, how to take preventative measures, and even gave tips on what work may need to be done to correct what he was seeing. They found a lot of concerns in the first house we were looking at and encouraged us to bring back specific experts to investigate further. We appreciated that they knew where we needed to look deeper than the general inspection. They also did a great job at explaining what is actually a concern and what is flagged a concern because they need to do it. We decided to walk away from the house based on the scope of work needed to be done and we are very thankful for their thorough inspection. We used both Adam and Rob and they were both great. We brought my husband's father with us (a 30yr home owner) for the inspection. Not only was Adam (inspector) great and personable but he was really honest with scaling where things were in terms of like, not tooooo bad, to needing to be done within the first 6months of homeownership. We needed a last-minute home inspection and RJ Inspections was able to schedule one for us right away (we called at 9:00 am and got an inspection scheduled for 3:00 pm that same day). Brett was great to work with on the home inspection. He walked us through each part of the house (inside and outside) with explanations that were thorough but not too overwhelming.
