If you're thinking of going to this salon... please don't. It is so over priced and when I went, my nails were uneven and didn't look good. It was less than a week and every single nail popped off. I do not think this place is sanitary because my sister and I both started to have fungus growing on our nails. It was all yellow and green which is disgusting. You can find a WAY better salon, with WAY cheaper prices, better nail quality and no fungus. If I did have an appointment right when they opened, they were always late and I had to wait on them. He had asked for a second chance at their services, which I gladly took since to be honest, I haven't found anyone else as skilled and outgoing than Ann at Dazzle Nails. I returned for a BioGel refill appointment with Ann, who still remembered me and my preferences in colour - yay! I honestly missed being in such a positive and relaxing atmosphere, and also having Ann do my nails since she is so talented and knowledgeable! She helped pick out a few colours. I trusted her and went for a colour I would have never thought I would go for since I usually do neutral colours. I haven't stopped looking at my nails ever since! Ok so I want to start by saying that I am no stranger to the nail game. I've been getting gel refills for the last 3+ years by some great nail technicians and some not so great nail technicians. My nails have been through the best and worst, and unfortunately before finding Dazzle, I had lost hope in finding a new nail "home". I can't say enough positive things based on my visit there this evening. After camping a week ago, my nails were in pretty rough shape. I was in search of a local nail salon with quality work. Not only did I have a tiring work day, but at 5:45pm I searched online and came across Dazzle. I called to find out if there was a sliver of chance they could take me in such short notice. A lady named Ann picked up the phone and her friendly voice said yes I could come in for 6:15pm. I went and to my surprise, it was so pretty inside! My nail technician was Kyle and o-m-g he is sent from nail heaven! very patient and gentle. I had my existing gel removed and received a new full set of gel nails. Nail shape is probably the most important thing and he did a flawless job executing my request for "pointy roundish" ...haha... Normally I get so sleepy and tired during a 1.5 hr nail appt, but this place was so different. I watched Shark Tank on their TV and Ann sat near my nail table the entire time and we laughed and chatted about all things Shark Tank. She was SUPER nice! I just want to say that this place exceeded my expectations as a first time customer and I'd highly recommend it. Went here for a bridesmaid session of mani and pedis. Delightful owner with the nicest talkative girls working here. They made the brides nails so gorgeous, and the rest of us too. Would recommend. Cute place! Very elegant and classy compared to your local nail salon. I got a shellac manicure from here, the salonist did a good job and was super nice, even offered some refreshments. They also played a movie while i was being serviced, which i found much more interesting than watching the news at another salon. The only thing i didnt quite understand was that she painted my ring finger and middle finger nails first and asked me to place my hand under the UV light and then proceeded to do the same with my other hand. She also took a little longer than usual and was slightly rough-but not enough to make me that uncomfortable! Everyone else was also very nice, i would definitely come back again :) read more

I was really impressed by the decor and stations when I first stepped into Dazzle - everything was very pretty and glittery and reminiscent of some of the salons down on Queen West. I also thought that it was such a nice surprise to find such a pretty salon in the Finch and Steeles area. However, I wasn't exactly impressed by the service that I received while getting my pedicure done - for whatever reason, my aesthetician picked up my sandal, examined it, and dumped it on the ground instead of placing my sandals nicely together on the floor. I was too stunned to say anything because I have never received treatment like this before at a salon. When the same aesthetician was doing my nails, she kept filing my nails at an odd angle and she would silently push my fingers back towards me to have me examine them instead of asking if the shape was okay...at that point, I decided to file my own nails because I decided that I was not going to leave with poorly shaped nails. The owner of the salon ended up taking over instead - thankfully my nails were properly filed once she took over! When it came down to my manicure and pedicure, I would say that overall, my nails and toes were painted nicely. However, there are a few things that needed to be improved - the space between my cuticles and toe polish could have been smaller. Upon closer examination of my nails after leaving the salon, I noticed that the top coat didn't completely cover some of my nails...I ended up putting on a second top coat when I got home. When I took off my nail polish after a week of having it on, I've noticed that the surface of my nails were rough because they were not smoothed down after the ridges were removed. I wish that they took the extra step of smoothing my nails too before putting on the polish. Overall, the prices were good, the salon itself is quite girly and pretty and the owner is really friendly. However, like I've mentioned above, there are a number of improvements that Dazzle should consider to improve their services, namely in terms of professionalism. read more

This place is a GEM! I went there with a friend for a pedi last week after seeing such great yelp reviews. I've gone back two more times this week! The staff there are amazing. I've now gotten a shellac mani, a pedi, and a haircut from them. Each time I left so happy. I normally don't like to talk when I'm getting things done but the girls there are so sweet and fun to talk with. They make me feel so relaxed when I'm doing a "treat myself" day. Came with champagne and rose water for the pedi. She loved every moment. She felt relaxed and had a fun time overall. She keeps hinting to me that she wants to come back soon! The only reason I would give 4 stars is that you have to plan at least 2 hours at for your manicure, the workmanship is ok and it's a bit more expensive in comparison with other spas. I went here to get eyelash extensions. I booked a Queen Bee session. The place doesn't look that nice at first glance, but I usually don't care about that as long as the service I receive is well done. However, when I used the washroom before my session I noticed that it was filthy. Anne was my technician. She was nice and friendly. She took a bit longer than I expected, but I didn't think that was an issue. She also took before/after pictures without asking first not that I had a problem with it. I can see how that may be uncomfortable for others though. I'm sure if I had said something she would not have minded. When she had finished my lashes, at first glance they looked all right. They definitely didn't look as full as I thought they would considering I opted for the most lashes. But, they looked natural enough. After further inspection of the job later that day I realized that I wasn't happy with the job she had done. There is a space on my left eye where it looks like she forgot to apply lashes, and there was dried glue on some of the lashes applied to the inner corner of my right eye. I would not recommend Dazzle Nail Spa for eyelash extensions. I will not be returning. read more

This nail bar is one of a kind! The best service and exceptional work. I got mani pedi here for my engagement day festivities and I couldn't be happier with my nails. This place is FANTASTIC! I practically spent my entire weekend in this charming, fun, and talented salon! I went in on Saturday to get my hair coloured. My previous salon messed it up and I was walking around with orange hair. Ann and Ben at Dazzle spent five hours working on me and pampering me and I left with the actual blonde hair that I had imagined! They did such a terrific job that my sister and I went back the next day for mani/pedis. They are a talented and professional group that know how to spoil their clients.
