He required no up-front payment because they want the customer to be satisfied before asking for payment. He gave me a 10% military/veteran discount. JB walked wifey and me through the Govee app to familiarize us with its impressive capability. I had a storage space that was an absolute nightmare which I needed to get a handle on in preparation for an impromptu out of state move. Spruce Goose's own Jennifer and Kristen came to the rescue. They each worked about five hours straight non-stop, organizing, labeling, sorting, etc. A particularly challenging aspect concerning this job is that the space was very confined and limited so it was like trying to solve and manipulate a giant Rubik's cube. The weather didn't help matters, but that was no deterrent to these gals--they pushed thru like real troopers. They were both very professional and worked efficiently without judgment. Wished I could have had them each another 5 hours or more as this was a particularly big and convoluted job--sorting through years of accumulated items, clothing, tools, supplies, and personal treasures all out most of which were in disarray. The end result, while not totally completed due to time and other constraints was nonetheless satisfactory. My main reluctance to the possibility of using Spruce Goose again would be that their rate$ are very high in my opinion--but then again, if I factor in the value I place on my personal time I suppose they are worth the extra premium! I could have handled this job myself but the emotional and energetic toll extracted would have been significant.

What a fun place to visit with a car full of friends and family for the holidays! This is the…read moresecond year for this family-owned drive through holiday light display extravaganza. Discounts for teachers, first responders, and military. Well marked location on 1604 between Judson and O'Connor. Super friendly greeter right at the beginning, then off we went on a one mile paved road that wound through the trees. Huge colorful light displays, some animated, and LOTS of holiday blowup scenes! Listen to timed music that accompanies each display through a certain radio station. It was such a delightful ride through bright, shining Christmas everywhere! There are several food trucks at the end of the display road and plenty of parking so you can stop and grab some hot chocolate or a hot dog. Fun, simple, relaxing way to spend part of an evening from mid-November through January 8th. Definitely will kick in some holiday spirit!
