Well, they don't call it the WOW factor for nothing! After Karen staged our house for sale, it…read morelooked so good I didn't want to sell it...but it sold to the very first lookers! Although I was hesitant about using a stager at first, she made a true believer out of me. Staging is really SO important in the sales process, it was definitely worth it's weight in gold. Karen is a dynamo that can put it all together so fast it will make your head swim. She used all of our own "stuff" that had always been there...but in the wrong place! I couldn't believe how good it all looked when she was done. My only regret is that we didn't use her 8 years ago when we moved in. We had been living with a bedroom and other things that were all wrong all those years, and she fixed it one day. I just couldn't see how to do what she did. And the best part is that she truly LOVES what she does. You can tell that she just can't wait to dig in and and set things straight! Would I use her again?? YES YES YES

The owner Karen is absolutely amazing to deliver the result. First of all, she knew exactly what we…read morewanted in detail and she created the optimal situation punctually. Second of all, she has so much knowledge regarding not only staging, but also marketing, real estate and so much more. We were blown away by her multi-talents & professionalism. Most of all, her service fee was VERY reasonable. We called around before we found her number. And her fee was lowest so far. But that doesn't mean she uses cheap furniture. She uses very elegant, gender-neutral and expensive furniture. Please be aware, some stagers use cardboard boxes or air mattress and cover them with thick blanket to make it look like a bed. Karen uses REAL bed & frame. We are totally satisfied with her excellent & ethical service.

We've used Mission City Arbor Group twice -- a $3,031 full-property pruning job in December 2025,…read moreand a follow-up call in August 2026 after an oak limb broke and became lodged over our roof. To their credit, they responded within an hour of my call and safely removed the limb the next morning. What's left me disappointed: 1. The December quote specifically included "take weight off branches with heavy loads" on this same oak. When their own technician inspected the August break, he noted there was no rot, remarked the limb had simply grown too far out, asked out loud why it wasn't caught in December, and stated out loud that it should have been addressed then. That's a scope item we already paid for that doesn't appear to have been done -- by their own technician's account. 2. I was quoted roughly 3 hours for the August job due to the precautions needed. The crew was on-site for exactly 1 hour. 3. Their crew used my personal extension ladder during the job and left it fully extended, lying in my yard, instead of returning it to where they found it. I raised all three points calmly and in writing, and asked for a two-thirds reduction on the $1,136.63 charge -- not a full refund, given the time and travel involved either way. What I got back was a new invoice for about a 28% reduction. No explanation for that number, no response to the scope overlap, and not so much as a "sorry" about the ladder -- just the revised bill. I'll give them credit for showing up fast when it mattered. But how a company handles being questioned matters too, and here there was no apology and no real discussion -- just a smaller number on a new invoice. UPDATE: The owner replied: Thank you for taking the time to explain your concerns so clearly. We appreciate your business and also appreciate the opportunity to review this with you. The job we did for you in December did include taking weight off of limbs, however, we certainly cannot guarantee that a particular limb will never break especially after 8 months of growth. The Arborist that did the estimate for you was unable to look at the break and the volume of the canopy attached closely. It was his best guess using his experience and knowledge to estimate the cause and the time needed to remove the broken branch. While the time it actually took to do the work may have only been an hour, we have to pay the crew travel time to and from our office to your house. In addition this job was done in an emergent manner and overtime was involved since we don't usually work on the weekends. The estimate was based on the additional rigging and precautions the Arborist anticipated would be necessary to safely remove the limb. While the work ultimately took approximately one hour, our estimates are based on the anticipated complexity and safety requirements. I agree that your ladder should have never been used, and it certainly should have been returned to the location and condition in which we found it. We do apologize for the that. Given your history with us and the concerns you've raised, I would like to reduce the charge by $300.00 as a goodwill adjustment. While we do believe the emergency removal was separate from the December scope, I want to make sure we handle this in a way that is fair and maintains the relationship we've built with you. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention. We value your business and would certainly like to continue working with you.
