We had Alex and his crew come in and trim our trees and palms that needed it badly. They did an excellent job. We've had numerous tree services in the past and none of them did a great job as Alex and his crew. We will definitely have them come back next year. Not a bad price as well. read more

Alex, Jr and his crew worked all day and cleaned out a lot of dead tree limbs, Spanish moss, etc. and took out several precarious trees. Came back in a timely manner to grind one stump. Hauled away everything and we are pleased. Nice guys who know what they're doing! read more

Scheduled an appointment with the estimator. He failed to show up, then called an hour past the appointment time, advising that they couldn't get to me for several weeks. I advised that I would call someone else. I consider this very unprofessional, and would not recommend this company for future consideration. read more

THIS COMPANY HAS REALLY GONE DOWN HILL! We had previously worked with the owner, Alex, and had a great experience but recently called to get a quote to remove 2 trees and spoke to Mike who claims to be the new owner. I own a rental property but when I asked to get a written estimate Mike said he only does that for jobs over $5k which I thought was RIDICULOUS! He gave me a verbal quote and agreed to email me his insurance and the contract. I never received either so I kept calling and calling and leaving voicemails/texts with no response. Finally, I decided to block my number and Mike answered. He said they were too busy to do my job but never bothered to contact me back to let me know. If he is too busy to take on new jobs why is he going to properties to do quotes and waste peoples' time? I AM STILL IN SHOCK THIS IS HOW POORLY HE TREATS PEOPLE!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME; STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

Daytona Tree Service was excellent in so many ways...1st they came in the lowest price with 3 bids and hurricane season was almost here.The owner Alex was very kind and professional didn't haggle about how close it was to the house/shed and his price was great... 2nd they offered to take the big pieces and the trunk down to the curb for a small additional fee 200.00 which was great(I was going to move it with me myself and I & my truck... 3rd The stump was huge and he offered a 100.00 removal down below the ground grinding.A huge stump grinding machine and the kindest older fella came the next day and babang! a beaut of a job... Make no mistake... best in town. A happy South daytona resident. read more

We had the worst customer service and experience with this company…read more We had a leaking hose on our transmission and called AC hydraulics for the repair. This change the hose and fitting, and the engine leaked worse and they came back out to change the washer on the fitting. Then they charged my card a second time to repair the fitting they originally did incorrect. After changing the washer again, we left the dock and the leak still persisted. We called PIRTEK and the tech came out and confirmed they used the incorrect washer and was shocked they would double charge and not warranty any work. I called to speak with the manager (DAVID) at AC hydraulics and he immediately blew up on the phone. I've never had such a disrespectful conversation from a manager at a company. He yelled on the phone, and stated once you left the dock that's on you and they weren't doing anything about it and then hung up the phone. Literally they did the work, we left the dock and leaked worse than it did originally, and the companies response is too bad, after you used the motor at all that's on you. Unbelievable, avoid this company at ALL costs.

Daytona Tree Service is an honest company that treated us like family. They are professional, knowledgeable, and gave us the best price compared to all of the bids we received. They have top notch equipment and the communication between them ensures that the job will be done safely. We enjoyed their friendly team and felt completely comfortable and confident in their skills as we watched them take our giant Oak tree down. They also cleaned everything up and took it all away. Great people, Great service, Great price & Great quality of work. They show up when they're supposed too & give you a price that it's hard to say no too. We've been doing business with this company for as long as I can remember & the only Tree service we recommend. The owner Alex actually cares about his customers & his work. He wont leave unless your fully satisfied. They go above & beyond for there customers & treat you right.. In a time when it has been difficult to get services scheduled during Covid, this company took a week from getting an estimate to finishing the proposed job. Besides routine maintenance for Hurricane season we had a large water oak that was threatening our power lines, garage, and foundation. My understanding they been in business for over 30 years!!!! They have workman's comp also witch is a deal breaker for me!!! They do the best work in State. I Talk with the owner for over 2 hours about his opinion on just about every tree in my yard and he took the time to do so witch me, witch is amazing! Have had Daytona Tree Service prune my trees for more than 20 years...both in Port Orange and Ponce Inlet. Would hire no one else. Extremely knowledgeable. All debris cleaned up and taken away without a trace of completed tree trimming. Prompt. If an unexpected delay in arrival, immediately notified of slightly later arrival.
