As another Yelper said the hotel is near plenty of restaurants, a mall, a movie theater. It's also near a Pet Smart if you happen to be traveling with your pet/s. It was nice having a Dollar Tree and Target nearby. This hotel makes it very easy to stay on budget with its close proximity to other businesses that offer cost friendly essentials. The area was very suburban-ish and familiar. With a full fridge, microwave, dishes and dish washer, it's the perfect hotel for an extended stay. My room was very clean, bed comfortable. I had plenty of space. There was a nice pull out desk for getting work done on the computer. It was very similar to an efficiency apt. The kitchen and "living" area could be separated from the sleeping area with a fabric partition that hung from the wall. The living area had a pull-out sofa. The room had so much space and I didn't feel cramped at all. The complimentary continental breakfast was decent enough and there are other options you can walk to such as Subway and Another Broken Egg. The tv had plenty of channels including every HBO channel. I was able to catch an episode of the The Last of Us while relaxing in my room. An added bonus where the cute duck friends that greeted me as I was walking back from breakfast on my last day. 4 stars because my window shade was broken and I couldn't let down the blackout curtain. Luckily I travel with an eye mask.

First time stayed here during one of our regular visits to Dayton. I can say, I am ok not to stay…read morehere again. Here is why... Check in: staff was friendly and efficient, it is a one man show from housekeeping request to front desk, might be due to they only offer housekeeping service every other day. Room & Cleanliness: tight, definitely not enough room to move around if the sofa bed is pull out to use. Walking space around the bed is bare minimum. And the biggest one that got to us is the smell of the room. My daughter describe it as old socks and moldy. Mattress is thin, not supportive. Blanket cover had stains on it. There are hair and other dirty things on the sofa bed sheet. Not enough towels in the room, had to request more. Hair conditioner bottle was not working, pump couldn't screw open. Value: not really a cheap stay or deal , hence even more so disappointed. Location: very convenient, close to restaurants, shopping and more. Less than 15min to the Air force base. Parking: no shortage, easy to find. Did not have the breakfast there, so cannot comment on it.

Five stars all around for this beautiful brand new Fairfield hotel right near the Fairfield Mall in…read moreBeavercreek! My husband and I booked a last minute stay here, and we would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in the area and in need of a hotel. Even though Fairfield is one of Marriott's more budget-friendly brands, everything at this new hotel feels intentional and even a bit elevated. The lobby and breakfast area is modern and welcoming, and they even have a golf simulator for guests to use? How cool is that! Muhammed checked us in quickly and was very accommodating, pointing us toward our room and being sure to mention the well-stocked 24/7 market right next to the front desk. Not only did the market have plenty of snacks, but I even saw a few local brands like Esther Price for sale. It's thoughtful details like this that made our one-night stay so memorable. Our room was just lovely: everything was clean and bright, and it felt like we were the first people to stay in this particular room (We may have been!) It's a little funny to have a view of the mall parking lot, but you can't beat the location. The bathroom was big, and the shower had solid water pressure with a detachable shower head. We didn't have any issues with noise during our stay - and the AC/Heat was strong and consistent throughout the night. There was even a decent-sized closet space for guests on an extended stay to use.

I called the hotel immediately to resolve the issue to discover my rooms were cancelled. I have travelled years with Marriott and always used the same card and if there were ever issues I just call immediately. This hotel cancelled within minutes. I tried to speak to a Fiona ( I believe it was her name as she had an accent). I asked whom the Manager was and to speak to them she advised Marriott standards are they don't give out the GM name or allow you to contact them. I asked her since when and she proceeds to say I believe this is a spam call and I am Calling the police. The most unprofessional hotel ever in my 15 + years of traveling with Marriott. Definitely escalating this concern to corporate

They actually make your bed and provide fresh towels daily without a special request. We had a group of six (3 rooms) in town for the air show. Check-in was delightful and the front desk crew was super friendly and interested in whether we had everything we needed every time we came and went. The restaurant and bar were excellent. The food was good and Alex, the manager, was so accommodating. I loved our spacious corner room. The bed slept great and I especially enjoyed the amazing shower pressure and lighted bathroom mirror for getting ready for the day. Overall it was an excellent hotel experience! I highly recommend this property.

You must ask for extra toilet paper, shampoo, bodywash, etc. The floor, ceiling, and walls are thin, which makes it difficult to sleep. The hotel is new, so it's clean and looks fresh. The breakfast is good...it's not just a continental. Be careful who you ask for napkins. I went to the front desk and apparently that was not the woman I was supposed to ask. Everyone else was wonderful. The coffee was good. The croissant breakfast sandwiches were tasty. The beds were comfortable, but definitely bring a sleep mask and earplugs. The manager Amber is amazing. Check on pricing for bridal parties. There is special pricing for bride and groom when their guests secure a certain number of rooms. Call for details.

Amy contacted me personally soon after I had applied for the scholarship & got me enrolled & ready to go. Our first time there we were greeted with smiles & our goodie bags. The place is very clean & kid friendly. All the staff is very kind. Everyone I encountered there was good with the kids, cared about the kids & seemed to love their job. Ryanne kept a good eye on my middle child as he is extremely ornery & squirmy. She was awesome with my kids! I can't say enough about Amy, she's a wonderful lady! She interacts with everyone & calls the kids by their names. She walks the edge of the pool checking on everyone & all the things, during lessons. She talked to my boys after every lesson & even teared up on our last one. She gave my boys big hugs telling them she hopes to see them soon. The scholarship that they offer is such a blessing. We wouldn't have been able to afford lessons other wise. My middle child has nearly drowned twice, and now after his lessons I feel he could make his way out of a pool on his own if need be. I highly recommend Goldfish of Dayton!! These lessons are core memories for my kids for life!! 4/30/24

Upon arrival, I noticed that the lobby was super clean and cozy, and I was greeted by very kind people at the desk. The room I stayed in, with thanks to my friend for earning us a free upgrade to a junior suite, was HUGE -- the perfect size for the two of us to live, work, and relax for a few days. Everything was, again, super clean, and the layout was superb (a C-shape from entrance to the bedroom area). I appreciated housekeeping's fabulous work, and all staff members I encountered were amazing throughout my stay. For the final night of my stay, I had to switch rooms, as my friend's reservation only lasted until Saturday and I made my own reservation for one night. I checked out of the first room at around 10:30am, and I was greeted by a manager at the front desk who, instead of simply offering a place for me to store my luggage, hooked me up with a room on the spot. She was incredibly kind and friendly throughout the interaction, which I really appreciated (especially since she absolutely went out of her way to accommodate this request). The king room I stayed in for the last night was also superb! As for amenities, I only really took advantage of the snack pantry, which was stocked with all the essentials. I 100% recommend this hotel, and I look forward to returning whenever I visit Dayton!
