I know with these skills he will have an outstanding foundation to grow from. My 1 year old is also greatly benefiting from this environment, at 15 months she has shown me how capable even a toddler can be. She feeds herself independently, can drink from a cup, is working on dressing herself, "helps" me with chores and takes great pride in showing me what she can do. And instead of making things right, they also kept my full week's payment without issuing a refund -- which is nothing short of theft. As a Black mother and an educated woman, I will not be silenced, intimidated, or "talked down" to with empty words. If necessary, I will take legal action. Parents need to understand what kind of environment this is, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this daycare to anyone. Thankfully, by the grace of God, I have since found a 24-hour daycare in the area with fair rates, professional staff, and a nurturing atmosphere where both children and parents are treated with genuine respect. I loved how management went out of their way to make sure the kids received the best loving care possible. They always made sure to go over and beyond state requirements. For example in a classroom where the state ratio is 1 teacher per 10 kids, at Bold Springs, there would be two teachers for 9 kids! This made the job so much more enjoyable. It gave me the freedom to take time out of my busy day to just love on the kids and attend to their individual needs. In addition, if teachers needed help for any reason at any time, management was always quick to fill the need. Sadly my situation required me to relocate. But I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for childcare in the Monroe Area.
